She worked with my budget until we came to an agreement, even though that meant going back to her higher-ups for approval more than a few times. She was knowledgeable about all the cars on the lot and even the engine on the vehicle I chose. I was shocked to hear it was her first week employed there! She could've run that place. A week after purchasing my vehicle, I did have one problem with a wheel bearing and had to have the car towed back to the dealership. If I could give no stars I would. Basically if you aren't a white man they're rude and treat you like an inconvenience. I came in to take advantage of a warranty for a vehicle I purchased two days ago CASH. I spent $300 for a thorough diagnostic from a reputable auto care place because the engine light came on. The spark plugs and fuel injectors are horrible and there's an obvious leak (I have picture and video). They didn't even care to look at my evidence. After sitting for 1.5 hours they TOLD me - NOT ASKED- that they replaced a purge something. NO PERMISSION and completely dismissed the actual diagnostic. Then the one rude mf all but shooed me off and told me to go to Crestwood (where originally purchased) because they were too busy. No paperwork of what they did or nothing. He also LIED and said that spark plugs and fuel injector was not in warranty and it is! I turned the car on and immediately heard a slight rattle. As I drove it got louder. I arrived home - 8 minutes from this place- to get evidence of the warranty verbiage. As I went to leave back out 3 minutes later it would not start at all. Engine was screeching before giving up. I bought a 2018 Chevy Trax last week. The next day, I took it to a reputable service station to do a vehicle check. They found i needed front brakes and right front ball joint. After over $1200.00, new front brakes and front right ball joint. Later that night, check engine light comes on. I took it back to the service station and they ran a diagnostic to see what the codes were. Came up as a catalytic converter issue. They also said that the check engine light was reset just prior to selling to me. I brought this up to Your Choice Auto (General Manager) and he said they did not, and they would not agree to paying for a new converter, if needed. He also said that my service station must have taken the exhaust system off to replace the front ball joint. ?? Wrong. My service station suggested I take it to a dealer for further review, which I did. The dealer did find a pipe leak that needs to be replaced, over $900.00. Once done, I'll have to wait to see if the same code appears again. If so, a new catalytic converter for around $1300.00. The dealer also found an engine oil cooler leak, another $1700.00. I gave a '1 star rating', only because ZERO stars was not available. I would suggest other options when looking for a used car. read more

I had a terrible experience with this dealership and would not recommend them. Came in to buy 2016 Chevy impala LTZ.. This was my first time financing a car, and communication was poor from the start. The salesman "Z" guided me towards incorrect information on my application, causing a denial, and later acted annoyed when I asked questions about warranties. I was only allowed to test drive the car after applying, and immediately noticed noises and shifting issues. Originally they told me they would fix the wheel bearing because the salesman zee said that's where the noise was coming from... However, They brushed off my concerns, claiming it was just the tires and would order new ones... Not even 4 hours after purchase, multiple warning lights came on within hours, and the car became unsafe to drive. The next day My mechanic found over 40 codes, but the sales manager dismissed them and refused to take accountability. Eventually, they admitted they couldn't diagnose the issue and offered a refund, which I accepted. However, they failed to cancel the loan immediately as promised, and the hard credit inquiries remain... They also did not provide Me a ride back home knowing I lived an hour away and had to drive the car back.. I asked if the manager could provide me an Uber home he denied. This dealership showed no accountability, professionalism, empathy or respect.. The professionalism was lacking -- the manager wore an AirPod during our conversation, staff gossiped about my situation, and they refused to help with a ride home after keeping my money and time. The process of looking at the vehicle was smooth and easy. The process for purchasing the vehicle was smooth as well. I would be cautious as to actually buying a car from here though. We purchased our vehicle and about 100 or so miles later the check engine light went off. We took it to our mechanic and he told us that it was going to cost us $3,000.00 and it was not covered by the warranty that we THOUGHT for sure would. Our mechanic told us that its easy to reset things in the car so the check engine light will go off for a few hundred miles or so. Of course the dealership tells us that is not the case, but i do highly doubt it myself. The actual purchasing of the car was smooth, I just don't trust them now. I originally had this review as a 5 star rave review. Do not listen to the good reviews here. They are polite and work with you through every step of the way. Until you drive off the lot and the junk you just bought is all your problem. They ignore you and don't respond. They buy these cars from auctions sometimes not even knowing what's wrong with them. We bought a 2011 town and country and driving it off the lot the check engine came on. Turns out it needed a brand new head gasket. The starter was shot. Alternator and battery were done for. AC doesn't work. All stuff not disclosed when buying. They BEG you to do a 5 star review when you are about to drive off the lot because that's when the good is in you head so don't believe all the reviews here saying they are great because these people did the review like they asked and now are dealing with problems. I reached out to a few and they all have said yes they have issues and your choice auto won't help them. I came to look at a 2015 Jeep Cherokee with Muhammad and he tried to sell me junk. When i pointed out all the issues i was seeing (truck had a smell when you put it in sport, brakes were bad, check engine light came on after i put it in sport and picked up some speed after the man he insisted to ride with me on my test drive only wanted me to circle a block going 25 mph) I told the man nooo i need to see this thing on the highway and i look in the back seat and he starts texting his big tail off to let Muhammad know i am on to him. We bought a late model Volvo. Ray was very easy to work with and very helpful. He allowed us to test drive around town and on the interstate. When I mentioned we had concerns about a noise when turning, they put the car up on the lift to let us and the mechanic take a look. No issues with the CV joints but did find that the oil filter was not properly seated. Once we got home we took it into our mechanic. The car got a clean bill of health. The power steering fluid was low; the noise went away. We are very pleased with our purchase. Was worried about this dealership but found them to be very straightforward. I dealt with a salesman named Robert. He did not disclose several issues of the car before selling it including parasitic battery drain, two completely worn out tires (listed as "good tires" in the ad), and a rattling sound coming from the suspension (which turned out to be a bad front stabilizer bar). I decided to purchase after negotiating a discount because of the worn out tires and rattling sound (I did not know about the parasitic battery drain because they did not disclose it before my purchase, and I found out after leaving the car off overnight the first night). This business gives a two-week window limited warranty on their cars for major malfunctions (not including electric). Aside from the electrical issue, my check engine light came on near the end of this two-week window. I called to check whether I could bring the car in the following week because I had to be out of town. Robert led me to believe it would be no problem to bring the car in for inspection and repair because of my situation. Out of trust, I did not record the conversation but I wish I had. I live in Chicago, so it took me an hour to drive the car to Your Choice Autos in Joliet the following week. When I got there, the friendly and helpful Robert I talked to on the phone was not friendly and helpful anymore. Hey may have delayed my visit on purpose so he could claim that they are not responsible for any issues because the two week limited warranty period had passed. I wasted half my day bringing the car in, and now I am stuck with potentially expensive electrical issue which was intentionally kept secret (the car must have been dead when they went to retrieve it for me on the day of purchase). Furthermore, I lost the opportunity to have my roommate bring the car in while it was on warranty because Robert convinced me that everything would be taken care of if I brought the car in after my trip. I was surprised by this scammy and corrupt experience with this business because of the positive reviews. I brought car in and they attempted to fix the electrical issue (which was partly resolved but not completely), and also the fuel inefficiency issue and TPMS light issue. They did all of this free of charge, but asked me to remove the negative review from before, which felt a bit coercive. I am happy with the customer service I received but wish I had received such service before filing my complaint on various review sites. I still own a car of questionable quality now because I was not made aware of its issues until after my purchase. I'm sure due to my 2 hour drive to home it came on earlier then expected I took it to them multiple times within the warranty still couldn't fix and then told me the engine needs to be replaced due to an oil leakage they say but don't know when it'll be in stock or when I can get the car back so I had to go back and forth til finally getting a different car... now shortly after driving off that check engine light came on ... so I'm irritated about that and that they made me put more money down on even tho it was cheaper then the previous one and I had already put 3k down for that... they literally argued with me about putting money down and they couldn't transfer the 3k... overall if you need something quick to not last a long time then yeah but your looking for honest reliable cars don't come here... they most definitely made me waste a lot of money on top of being rude when I got upset even though I had been patient with them for the past month and half...still unresolved and going through it legally to report them and sue in smalls claims. UPDATED three times: Engine was replaced with another salvaged engine from 59 Auto junk yard. This is where they got both of the engines they put in my vehicle. The service manager admitted to me they had already replaced the engine once before I purchased it. The mechanics noticed another problem with passenger front control arm that was exacerbated during the engine work. They offered to repair the control arm and told me the next day when I called that the car was ready for pick up. I arrived 10 minutes before close and drove the car home noticing the steering was not right but the shop was now closed. The next morning as I drove it to the nearest Hyundai dealership the check engine light came on. I an was devastated when they showed me pictures at the dealership of the plastic zip ties holding the frame together, the cracked starter that was broken while installing the scrap engine, epoxy holding together other parts of the cracked cylinder head. The check engine light indicated the engine needed a thermostat and an oxygen sensor. I had it towed back to Your Choice Auto and they reportedly fixed the thermostat and oxygen sensor and reportedly fixed the steering. When I returned to the dealership I test drive the car and the alignment was not fixed. The mechanic and service manager both admitted they do not have a machine to properly complete alignment safely. Naveen refused a full refund of the vehicle. He tried to offer me a trade in for another car. That would have been a good deal IF this was a dealership that sold quality cars. I test drive 3 other cars and a check engine light came on with each one. He would only offer to refund me the money I paid their service shop for the repairs $317. THERE MAY BE A CAR HERE THAT RUNS. BUT BUYER BEWARE. These cars need lots of work. Do not buy a car from here unless you enjoy throwing away your money. 19 Days after purchase my vehicle seemingly has major engine issue. Izzar and Naveed called me the next day to try to solve the issue. They provided me with the repair history prior to sale which included an engine solenoid, crankshaft position sensor, front brakes, struts, and sway bars. I bought the car for a low price. I expected plenty of work as it is an old car but did not expect to purchase an engine that would fail in 19 days. Naveed is replaced the engine. You won't get this kind of consideration and service out of another used car dealership. Will update this again after repair is completed. ALL THIS BELOW WAS BEFORE THE ENGINE ISSUES WITH THE CAR. Ray helped me buy a car in a snowstorm. He treked out in the snow and cleared cars for me to see. He even took me for a test drive, had details on my car and answered my questions. Receptionist was very friendly, looked up cars for me quickly in their inventory and helped me purchase the car I wanted quickly. Thanks also to Ariana and Izhar. I drive 2 hours to potentially buy a vehicle that was confirmed via email, text , and phone call. Upon arriving the gentleman who didn't provide or greet with his name advised me that Jessie wasn't in today. This gentleman proceeded to tel me that the vehicle wasn't available and was never available and requested to see "proof" of the conversation or email. I provided him w/ proof also called Jessie with no avail. Who runs a business like this ? The sales associate had no apathy; not once did he try to resolve the issue . But, to the contrary the sales associate let me know that they own several car lots, auctions, etc. at which he tried to up sale a car instead .. sleaze ball move .
