Boltz Automotive read my post and reached out to me letting me know what time and day they would be available to look at my vehicle and do a diagnostic on my vehicle for $150 and let me know exactly what work needed to be done and the $150 would go towards the repairs if I decided to have service completed through them. I would say within 24 hours of making the appointment for the diagnostic to be performed on my car and actually bringing it into the shop to be serviced. My car was complete and ready to drive again. I am very satisfied with the work that was performed on my vehicle. The staff at the shop is also all very friendly. 10 out of 10 I would definitely recommend the shop to everyone with any car issues. The price I paid was amazing and I'm a super happy customer.

As I proceeded to confirm all details the man started getting aggressive towards me. I just politely asked any questions he had but in the process he started to yell at me and the insurance lady. After that encounter, this place found my Facebook page and contacted me through Facebook and other avenues. This encounter is one of my top unprofessional encounters I've ever witnessed. They went so far as to contact me through a mutual acquaintance. I eventually had to change my number.

Instead, he charged me for a timing cover--something I never asked for and that didn't address the actual problem. After keeping my car for weeks, he didn't do anything to get the engine running. When we finally got the car back, we realized it had been completely dismantled. As you can see in the photos, nothing is connected, spark plugs were left in a plastic bag, and he even left one of his SHOP RAGS INSIDE THE ENGINE. This is NOT how the car was brought to him. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to inspect it right away because his shop hours were during my work hours, and all of our communication was over the phone with my girlfriend. We paid over the phone by giving him my card number for manual entry, trusting that he was being honest. Looking back, there were red flags--weeks with no updates, delays before he even looked at the car, and Bruno's attitude on the phone. Because of all this, we decided to tow the car elsewhere for repairs, and that's when we saw the condition it was in. My car was returned in WORSE condition than when it arrived. We ended up getting the engine replaced with a different mechanic and had a MUCH better experience.

They need 35 psi in the winter because the rims are aluminum and cause the tires to lose air in the extreme cold. Within two and half weeks, I received a warning from Onstar that my tires were at 28 psi with one at 27 psi. They did not lose all that air in that amount of time but were not inflated properly per my request. I took in my older Chevy Malibu which had dashboard lights going on including check engine light and service engine soon light. The tachometer was also not working. Auto Zone read the codes for FREE and I took that printout in with the car. They kept the car for three days. All they did was clear the codes, did not fix the tachometer and by the time I went a mile away from VIP toward Rt. 30, the check engine light was on! This car is older but always well taken care of and garage kept. No attention to detail plus I was charge $99 for nothing vs. Auto Zone putting the car on their computer to test for codes for free. I will not be back to VIP ever.
