I dented the bottom panel of my 7-year-old garage door backing out of the garage. I was worried about color matching the panel and getting it fixed right away so I wouldn't cause more damage. Joel came through for me in a big way! He immediately knew who manufactured the door from a picture of a sticker on its side, ascertained it was in stock in Dallas, drove there, picked it up, and installed it. Perfectly., I might add. Then he lubed up the door, cleaned up after himself, and tested it thoroughly before he left. I had other companies quote the job but they outright lied to me -- couldn't replace the panel, had to replace the whole door, etc. Joel explained to me that none of their crew gets commissions, and it's likely that the other companies paid their people to upsell. Would totally give them 5 stars, but just wasn't all that happy to get rescheduled from a Thurs appt to a Mon appt due to time constraints (over booking). Appreciated the quality of work however, from the guys who showed up to do the job. Joel took charge of the job & he was very knowledgeable & competent. He communicated very well as to what needed to be done, what possibly could need to be done & to the operating instructions at the end. It took them a bit longer to install the commercial grade opener than originally stated, but Joel wanted to make sure that everything was secure & installed properly which we appreciated. These openers cost a pretty penny to install so whatever it takes to keep them where they need to be is good for us. Had to pick up some cut metal pieces that were left in the driveway & some paper that apparently blew out of some boxes, but the door opener works like a charm & sure is saving me from having to pull on that chain! Thank you guys! I'd recommend Your Garage Door Guys & would have them out again if & when we have the other door opener installed as well! read more

My parents gave my husband an early Christmas present of a new garage door opener. I called around to several places each wanting more than the cost of the opener to install. Finally found these guys for about half of what everyone else was asking. I made an appointment for last Friday, so it's been about a week since it went in. First let me say I appreciate this is a locally owned and operated business. I always like to support community when I can. Bill was pleasant to talk to and wanted me not to just feel comfortable with having them do the job but wanted me to know a little about them too. Joel came out during the early side of the window I asked for (also something I appreciate). He looked over our door showed me a few things that could be trouble down the road, with no pressure, and up sold me on some new wheels for the door, but the price was reasonable so we went for it. It's been a week now and I have to say the only complaint from anyone in this house is from the dogs who can't tell when we're coming home anymore! The old door was loud and the entire house could hear it open and close. This is no longer an issue, partially from the new opener but the wheels no longer squeak! He also gave us tips on improving the longevity of the door and the opener and told us how to properly maintain everything. Thank you! P.S. I called because our garage door clickers aren't working, and we can only close the garage door if we manually hold down the button on the wall, pushing down on the button the whole time until it's completely shut. I spoke with Bill and he said it's a simple fix that he was able to walk me through on the phone. Sure enough it worked, and he didn't charge me. He was so friendly and helpful!
