Hot bone-in wings & pizza (yes it has pineapple!)
    Heather E.

My boys and I were visiting my mom and she cooked keema curry for dinner. My eldest scarfed it down and my youngest flat-out refused to eat it. Then they both begged me to order pizza! So for dinner #2 for one child and dinner #1 for the other child, I decided to try a local pizzeria instead of a big chain pizzeria. Now, we all know that it's risky to order from a local pizzeria outside of NYC. I've had plenty of hits and misses (mostly misses) when I would order pizza while traveling for work). But every once in a while you luck out and find a place that is locally owned and operated and turns out some delicious pies! And that is exactly what we have here! The name leaves something to be desired, but it had good reviews here on Yelp, so I took the plunge and called them to ask about their specials. I ordered a large (up to 2 toppings) pizza with 12 bone-in wings for $20. I asked for 2 bleu cheese packets and a ranch packet to go with the wings. Including delivery (but not including tip), the total came to $23. The pizza was really tasty! It had the right amount of sauce, a great amount of cheese, and the toppings were placed evenly so you were able to taste the toppings with each bite. The wings were also delicious and quite hot! (Don't worry, they have mild, BBQ, garlic, etc. if you aren't a fan of spicy foods). I'll post a picture (and, yes, my son requested pineapple on his pizza! It's tasty, don't judge!). It will be 45-60 minutes for delivery. Make sure to plan accordingly or you will have a starving child in your face begging for a snack before their dinner arrives! I'm fine with the delivery times! I'd rather have a freshly cooked, hand tossed pizza from a local pizzeria than one made from leftover dough from the night before at a chain pizzeria. My suggestions for them are to update their website. I had to call to know what deals they had and to answer my questions about the menu. I would also suggest a little more sauce on the bone-in wings (or a tiny container of it on the side).

I saw an order of garlic knots being taken to another customer and had to go right back to the counter to add some to my takeout. Hubby has now decided that we're bringing some friends here from out of state before we've even tried anything. We got home and immediately got a slice and a knot. The slice was delicious. The crust was tasty, soft on the inside with a nice crunch on the outside. The lemon ricotta was delicious. It felt like it was missing something to kick it up a notch. Maybe roasted red peppers. The knots were definitely garlicky. Wow! The marinara it came with was delicious too. Personally it was a little too much garlic and butter for me but the texture was soft and fluffy. They were spicy from the amount of garlic. I will definitely order again but will try them plain next time. I want to try the meatballs with another pizza next time. Hubby is right; our friends will absolutely love the place. Great food and a laid back atmosphere make this place great for a small get together with friends. One thing that I noticed was the guys that are making the crust are absolutely covered from head to toe in flour. They are for sure working hard on that crust and they do a great job. Can't wait to go back and this is a must go if you're looking for a delicious pie.

The bar is separate from the food and its separate purchases. The restaurant also has a stark contrast between dim moody lighting around the bar to sterile almost garage lighting over the restaurant tables which KILLS the cool vibe of the other side. Once seated, you go up and order what you want. They ask for tip when you purchase your food, and I did not tip. It is the same as fast food. You order yourself, you have to grab your own silverware and napkins, you go to the bar when you're ready to order drinks although sometimes they do come around. I assumed I pay for food and tip for service at the end? I made a mistake by that I guess because the pizza actually took 45mins to an hour to come out. I went up to the bar to order drinks, they were served with no eye contact or words even spoken. Date & I planned to eat the first pizza with some drinks, chill, then order another to nibble and take home. By the time the 1st came out we were STARVING and already had a few drinks on an empty stomach. Even a group of 4 beside us came in, ate, and left before we even could!! We just ate the pizza, tipped $30 for the bar tab/service which wasn't great, and left. If you like your server, which I did, you realize after that you actually tipped bar service and not even your server. It is so confusing. The food is very good and the staff seem nice enough people; however the concept is confusing. You're doing things yourself, but being asked to tip twice. If you don't tip the first time, the food service is obviously aware. Overall, it was not the night out I would have liked. Combined with the weird hours this is not sustainable. Good pizza and alcohol shouldn't be this hard...

It's then that we discovered that a 4 topping pizza turned out to be 1 and half topping pizza for $18.00. They give us sausage, and one piece of pepperoni per slice, but no ham, and no bacon. After we were ready to leave, the waitress said our total was $28.26. They charged us for a 4 topping pizza that they did not give us. The bill also revielled that she charged us for drinks that we didn't order. I had a diet soda, and my wife had a ginger ale, and long island ice tea. Nobody had a regular coke ($2.00 extra) plus what they served us was equal to the $12.00 - 2 topping pizza Friday special. They overcharged us $8.00 in total. This might have been a mistake, but none the less it was their mistake. Furthermore, This is supposed to be a sports bar, but 2 of 9 TVs were on keno. 2 other TV's were on the starter page of Roku. The rest of the 5 TV's were not on. I would say that this bar has had its better days before the new owner (Christy). who bought the bar a month ago. And has screwed everything up. Going down hill fast!!! Just saying BEWARE of the overcharging if you go here. After all, there are many bar and grills in downtown Canton, save yourself the trouble and go anywhere else. I know we will never be back.

This spot may be compact, but it packs the kind of flavor and hospitality that earns a permanent spot in the rotation. I was greeted right away by an incredibly friendly staff member who set the tone for the visit. Even better? A couple of folks were already waiting on their orders and started raving about their go-to favorites. When regulars hype a place unprompted, that's always a good sign. The interior is bright, clean, and has that cool chalk-art wall bursting with personality -- pizzas, eggplants, peppers, the whole Angello's vibe. Between the brick-bottom ovens and the steady flow of takeout orders, you can tell this place is legit. After hearing it recommended more than once, I went with the famous Pasquale's Italian sub -- and wow. Absolute sandwich excellence. The roll alone is worth talking about: Fresh. Soft. Crispy. Literally one of the best sub rolls I've had anywhere. It held up beautifully -- no soggy collapse, even with a generous amount of toppings. Inside, the layers stack up like an Italian deli greatest-hits playlist: thin-sliced meats, crisp lettuce, melty cheese, tomatoes, peppers, and that signature sauce that ties it all together without overwhelming the bread. The flavors play perfectly together -- absolutely craveable. While I only grabbed the sub this time, I've gotta highlight one thing Angello's is known for: their brick-bottom oven pizza. According to a feature on the shop, this style gives their pies a crispy, old-school, no-shortcut kind of finish that fans swear by. It's got that classic, slightly blistered crust that only a brick oven can make happen. Great service. Friendly staff. Killer sub. And a vibe that feels like a neighborhood staple in the making. I'll definitely be adding Angello's 2 Go to my regular rotation -- and next time, that pizza is calling my name. If you're anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and check this spot out. Your taste buds will thank you.
