This is a review of their single slice pizza. I visited on two occasions several months apart. The first time I visited, I got a double slice and the second time I visited I got a single slice. You can get a single for three dollars or a double slice for five dollars at the time of this review. I got a pepperoni slice each visit. The pizza sits in a three story heated unit on their front desk. They did not warm up the slice in the oven before giving it to me. The slice was warm. The bottom crust was flimsy, no crisp. I am way overdue on this review. We don't order out often, but still manage to get T T at least once every couple of months and last night, for the Super Bowl, was one of those times. I ordered online actually the night before and scheduled the pickup for 5:45pm. This experience is a great summary of the typical experience I have with these guys: fast, friendly service (even on a very busy day), food ready, quick checkout, food perfectly made and accurate. Pleasantly surprised by the pie we got on Sunday before the football game. We ordered a large thin crust with Twisted sauce, Jalapeños, salami and roasted red pepper. The crust was very good. Cooked very well and was chewy. The toppings were good. Plenty of fresh jalapeños! I would have liked more roasted red peppers but they were good. Salami was a nice alternative to pepperoni. Easily our favorite pizza place. We live in Akron but we always order from the Cuyahoga Falls location through their website and pick it up ourselves. Great service and such good food! If they have the jalapeno mac bites, order two, trust me. Their jojos are also *perfect.* They are exactly what you want from a jojo! Salty and crispy outside, SUPER hot and soft inside, just excellent. Our usual is a large with the white garlic sauce, extra cheese, onion, green pepper, and black olive. Ever since I moved here, I have been looking for a pizza place that delivers delicious calzones like the ones I would get at georgios or guys pizza where I used to live. Well it took 5 months but I finally found it. Twisted tomato it is! Although the one in Akron won't deliver to me (I'm in North Hill area) because I'm too far away and the first time I ordered from the Cuyahoga Falls location they said I was within their delivery zone so no issues but the second time they said I wasn't so I was confused but they said they would do it if they weren't busy. So I don't know what happened there. So Kayla and I ordered a regular calzone with pepperoni and mushrooms and 2 sides of garlic butter and 1 side of marinara. We also got the calamari because Kayla insists on trying calamari from anywhere she can. Both times there was nothing missing or messed up from our order and everything was DELICIOUS. I tried Twisted Tomato Pizzeria the other night and I had mixed reviews about my experience. Ordering process: I order my food via their webpage since both GrubHub and Uber Eats did not have the full menu available. The menu on the website it a little hard to navigate but the selection of food items is really good. I think there is probably something for everyone if you are wanting something other than pizza. Food: once we received our delivery I thought that the pizza was very good. We ordered a sausage and roasted red pepper pizza on traditional crust with twisted tomato sauce. The overall quality and taste were very good and the twisted sauce was slightly spicy but not over spicy. We also ordered the chicken tenders and fries. They were good but not our cup of tea. The tenders were very large, so you get a good amount for the cost. The fries that came with them were not as good. Slightly greasy and under cooked. Wait time and delivery: the delivery man was very nice and provided us with excellent service. My only issues with this restaurant and what would make me consider not ordering again would be 1- the wait time was outrageous. The website said my order would arrive in 30min. I was skeptical and assumed it would be more like an hour. At an hour and a half from ordering I had to call to get an update. My food had yet to leave for delivery. 2- once the food arrived the pizza was warm but not hot like I would have hoped and expected. Both of the dishes were really good, but too greasy for me (only reason it's not a five star). If you enjoy very heavy dishes with a lot of cheese this is the place for you!! New York style pizza is a GIANT pizza so it's great to get when you're entertaining guests and want to surprise them with gigantic slices of pizza. The sauce is slightly sweet and I really like it. TL;DR This is a great little pizza and pasta shop run by some great people. Definitely our go-to pizza place in the area. Haven't had a bad speciality pizza yet, great weekly specials, good prices, and good service. This used to be a guys pizza, but now has a cooler name and more freedom to make awesome food. They have tons of pizza and pasta options, including a monthly speciality pizza that rotates. One of our favorite weekly specials is "Wing Wednesday" where boneless wings are $0.60 a piece, no limit and tons of yummy sauces to choose from. They also do a fun rotating special on Friday and Saturday where they spin a wheel - just gotta check their Facebook page for the video. Presto pesto is definitely my favorite speciality pizza - highly recommend it. The pesto pasta is one of my favorites as well. The managers are also super cool and have started doing "make your own pizza" kits for the kiddos for the pandemic for $10, as well as a "pay it forward" program where people can donate pizzas and money to others. We felt like the sauce was a little bit more greasy(specifically the white garlic sauce) than we preferred, but great fresh ingredients! Uses quality ingredients for the price.
