I wish I didn't have to go to work and just went home and sleep because of that wonderful feeling I had after having the best hydra facial at Your Spa in Artesia ! It was such a gentle treatment that I only felt a very light sucking sensation which is like a vacuum action to exfoliate, dislodge and suck up the nastiness inside my face without the painful extraction. I always come out feeling amazing whenever i visit this spa. After 3 months of no facial, I had an appointment for Hydrafacial few weeks ago. This spa make sure their clients are safe. all staffs are wearing mask, face shields, gloves and PPE gowns. Upon arriving, they will check your temperature. They even provide you a spa footwear that you can take home. They have hand sanitizer on the entrance door and the exit door. They will give you a disinfected locker to put your belongings. When i got to my treatment room, they had this protective acrylic shield installed in the bed for protection between you and the aesthetician. They take care of my skin always. So I'm a guy and came here for the first time. Not really sure what I was doing but I wanted to get rid of a blackhead that was bothering me. Got the oxygen face treatment which turned out to be painfully good for my skin. The pretty much extracted whiteheads, blackheads, even removed my milia's which I wasn't expecting. Then put like 7-8 types of facewash, lotions, moisturizers, and other things that I'm assuming were great for my skin. My face was practically glowing after. Went to work the next day and people who walked by my desk said I was really red, I said it was from basketball because I was too embarrassed to say I got a facial, but I did indeed play basketball. Not really related to anything though. I think I'm going to come back here once every 3-4 months just to keep my skin healthy. This was 25 years overdue. Very friendly staff, analyze your skin and recommends you the best treatment for your skin. Ended up being around $99 pretip, took around an hour and a half. Just had a Hydrafacial at Your Spa by Rowena and not only was she sweet and knowledgable but also gave me one of the best facials I've had in a long time. We took a before and after picture and I immediately noticed my skin looking much clearer, brighter and was actually glowing. This place is great if you're looking to clear your face of acne and scars. I get my facial done my Mai, Andrea or Abby. They're great. If you're new to facials expect it to hurt a little when they begin extractions. I've been going once a month for the past 4 months cleared a lot of my acne and scars. Service was great but beware when tipping using their suggested tip on their electronic bill. I went there today thinking I was tipping them 15% for the service, but I was actually tipping for the entire bill including tax. Here's the breakdown of my receipt: Facial + added option: $104.00 Diamond cream: 60.00 Subtotal: 164.00 Tax: 5.40 Tip (15%): 25.41 Total: $195.81 The 15% was automatically calculated and you can add it to your credit card charge. Dazed from the relaxing facial, I didn't notice that they actually calculate tip for the product and the tax! The diamond cream was this tiny jar that was sold to me after my facial. It's like buying a face cream from the store and tipping them for it. I was under the impression that I was tipping 15% for the $104 service which would only be $15.60, which would make my total $185. I love my facial so that was good, but bring cash for tip. long post ahead! i've been coming to your spa in cerritos for acne treatment facial and may i just say... i'm so happy i found this place! i've been looking for a place where i could get my skin/acne/acne scars treated and to achieve a clear skin... and finally! i've been seeing a lot of improvement with my skin and i had my third (yes only third out of five treatments) yesterday! and it feels good that my esthetician told me my skin is a lot more smoother and yes, me myself felt the same way! i feel more confident with my skin, just had to be rlly patient with everything to get here! i love doing my make up and you could really tell the improvements with my skin... back then, you could see my pimples even if i got all that foundation on (4th pic)! last picture? yes thats me on thanksgiving 2021!! light make up, and poppin! Facial #3 and it's better than ever! Tita Mylene and just all the women there in general always take care of me. I came in early, got ready. I had a face full of makeup since I came straight from work but they cleansed my face hassle-free. I did notice something different this time, and it was the exfoliant used! It smelled so good! And so sweet! I have so many exfoliants at home but honestly the combination of that pineapple exfoliant and the brush on my face was amazing! Usually - and I come mentally prepared - I expect to feel the pain with the diamond peel and the extractions. So I don't know if it's like threading, where you get used to the pain over time or my fave is actually getting better heehee but I actually started to fall asleep by the time the facial got to the diamond peel part. Come extraction, I wasn't hurting none. Or maybe it was how relaxed I was? But stuff was definitely being extracted out of me. The facials are always amazing, I may also need to go back for the exfoliant! It was so gentle and sweet smelling and it doesn't have a burning or too-sharp feeling like some exfoliants on my face so that's a definite plus. I'm currently struggling from adult cystic acne on my chin so I thought maybe a facial could help me out. When I went in for my appointment, I had 4 huge ones on my chin. The next day 2 were completely gone and the other 2 had flattened out and were almost gone. This is my go-to facial place. Why? My esthetician is one of the owners, Mylene. She is a lovely person and quite knowledgeable. She does a great job, each time.Once you arrive, you are greeted with a warm welcome and a smile and ushered to your room and provided instructions on what to expect (especially for first timers). Price - The facial is $99 and it includes standard cleansing, toning, extraction, lotion, microdermabrasion, oxygen therapy, brow and lip threading, paraffin waxing of hands and feet. The process takes about an hour and half. Location - The spa is located in a busy shopping center but once you get into the spa, you do not hear any of the noise outside. This place is a no frill spa - it does not have other amenities like sauna or showers, relax/quiet room.However, it is very clean and well kept. The individual treatment rooms are inviting and smell clean. Gentle and soft spa music helps with relaxation. I highly recommend this establishment. You will not regret coming here. The place is very clean and the ladies were very accommodating! The ambiance is very relaxing as well. Mhai suggested i get a hydrafacial and so i did. Mhai also did my extraction and i felt like my face was dirt free after. Andrea finished the rest after the extraction. She explained everything very thoroughly before doing the procedures and she's also very gentle. So because of school and stress I got acne and a lot of blackheads. I didn't mind it and would cover it up with makeup but my mom told me get facials to get rid of the acne & scarring. I did their diamond peel with collagen and honestly my face has cleared up so much.
