I general, cell phone stores give me the same type of anxiety that car dealerships do, so my expectation of a good experience is very low. I did not have a good experience here though, I had a GREAT ONE! My experience was so good in fact that I came back a few days later to upgrade my kids phone. Over the two times I visited I worked with both Joe and Chris and both of them deserve crowns as they are Kings of Customer Service. The new iPhone 15 had just come out and they went over all the details with me for both the phone and the billing. They explained all the costs and changes and saved me the most amount of money. They also did the entire transfer for me and when all was said and done, everything was perfect. As for the store, it is nicely laid out and clean with all the models displayed for you to view. I highly recommend this store and regret not taking a picture. The location is great with tons of parking (and next to a Starbucks) and the staff is top tier. I'll be back to upgrade the rest of the family's phones very soon. read more

Totally worth the long drive! I was helped by sales consultant Aaron Hosannah. What a wonderful guy!! I went with my mom who is hard of hearing and has no idea how to use a smart phone and he helped me choose the right one for her as well as set it so she would be able to hear and use it once we left. Not to mention that Aaron got me thru the stress of trying to show my mom how to use her phone all while wading thru the various billing issues with an early upgrade on mine. I will continue to come to this location, in the future despite the distance and I recommend it to anyone who needs to visit a Verizon Wireless store!! read more

I visited Your Wireless with my older mother to update her phone service and I was most pleased with the personal service we received. German was sensitive to our needs and even suggested ways to lower our bill and yet upgrade our existing services. He was most polite and efficient but thorough in explaining everything. German was even able to help others with quick questions as they came in the store as we were occupying much of his time. He was courteous and willing to help everyone with their needs and also save them money to get better service. Ii do not live in the area but feel that I have a friend that will help my aging mother with any questions that may arise which I am sure will be many. I would like to thank and acknowledge the staff at Verizon Wireless on Stewart Ave, Garden City. German was so helpful , patient and informative while trying to solve a horrible situation created by T Mobile ! He stayed lTe and waited for us , as my daughter literally had no phone usage at all day a brand new TMobile phone . Preston was instrumental as well starting us off and offering advice . I think it's rather rude when you enter a store and the sales people don't even acknowledge that a customer has walked in. I could understand if the place was packed but it wasn't. Other customers were being helped .We came in to purchase a phone case. Not one employee asked if we needed help with anything or atleast had the courtesy to say that they will be with us in a moment. It's very bad customer service. read more

Verizon shops are not all company owned. Consequently the service can be vastly different in different franchises. This one quoted me $80 on a basic phone, with a $ 50 rebate. I wasn't happy with this because the kiosk at BJs quoted $50 for the same phone with a $50 rebate. When I questioned them and said I'll delay my purchase, they waived the extra $30. This made me feel suspicious. They said it would take 2 days to get the phone in also. Inconvenient, when at bj's they said it would take 1/2 hour. So I decided to get the phone at bjs for convenience, not squabbling with pricing, and no arrogance. Find another place to shop is my advise! read more

I am long time FiOS and Verizon Wireless customer. Today was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever received. I spoke to a representative named Skye yesterday for a promotion they're running for two Galaxy s7's a 50" Samsung smart TV and vr unit. She took my information and assured my phones will be available for pickup the next day and to see her specifically being that didn't have the titanium color in stock. She told me the hours she would be working and I told her the time I would be able to see her to finalize everything. When I stopped in today I went to her desk was ignored and pushed of to another rep. The new rep informed me that are still out of stock on that color because the shipment they received that morning didn't provide it. Which is one thing but to find out the promotion expired yesterday from the new rep was complete bs. She could've told me that at any point but now I see why she was trying to ignore me, unless I was being lied to. She took down my number yesterday and was supposed to call me if anything changed. I will definitely be changing my internet cable and wireless provider for my home and business. read more

Went in yesterday around 6 pm to exchange a brand new remote control which had burned out a few days after receiving it due to bad batteries (provided by Verizon). The FIOS reps were trying to charge me for this. At one point one of them said okay yes you give her a new one but give her the same batteries. When i explained that it was the batteries that caused the remote to break and I didn't want those batteries, he changed his mind and said oh okay then we have to charge you. ???? How does this make any sense. I called verizon FIOS customer service today and they are sending me a new FREE remote control because they clearly are well trained reps. By the way, this is not the first time that I have received horrible service at this store related to FIOS equipment. The first time I came to pick up my equipment here the rep was too busy talking to her co-workers and the second time I went in to return old equipment "the system was down". Some people just don't appreciate the fact that they HAVE a job and that their actions represent a very large corporation. read more

I switched over to T-Mobile because of the horrible experience I had with this store. The salesperson failed to tell me (lied) that the new iPhone 6 will use more data than the previous iPhones. I went in to this store in order to ask if there was a way to lower my bill from $200 a month. He sold me a bag of goods without telling me the entire story. I had the same iPhone and plan since 2011 - never went over in data. The first 2 months with the new iPhone 6 - i kept getting text messages that I was going over in my data usage. When i called the store to inquire - I received no help - they just tried to get me to buy more data..... which would have put my bill back up to the $200. SUCH A SCAM. When I called direct to Verizon Customer Service - they explained the situation to me. I filed a formal complaint and cancelled 2 of my Verizon lines. Disgusting to scam more money after I went in their looking for help! read more
