I think it's no secret that I'm a fan of sweet things, cupcakes specifically. I also think it's fairly well known that I indulge in an adult beverage or two every now and again. So when someone combines these two things for me I can't help but think genius! Throw in the fact that these cupcakes are made to be minis and I'm all set. I've had Yours Truly Cupcake offerings several times now, at events, from stores or restaurants that have carried them around town (Eden and Sugarlicious were two I've seen them at in the past although I'm not sure that's still the case), and even at the actual storefront fro the shop even though that place is open only by appointment or sheer luck. And I have loved every morsel I've put in my mouth. You can order strawberry champagne (yes!), moscow mule (please do), chocolate Guinness (for the beer lovers), St. Germaine (who doesn't love this?), the Fireball (with Fireball whiskey!!!), and plenty of others. The owner of Yours Truly who also happens to be named Tiffany loves to make new flavors and will work with you on themes for an event or special occasion or just offer up her professional advice to get you what will most satisfy your sweet tooth(s). I called Yours Truly Cupcake on a Friday morning for a same-day delivery for a friend's birthday. I don't live in Denver, but I found them on Yelp and took a chance. Score = an A+ on all counts. The details: I left a message when I called because, being on the East Coast, it was too early in CO, but within 30 minutes of opening they called me back and were happy to work with me and promised speedy delivery so that it would be early enough for everyone in my friend's office to enjoy the treats. The owner explained her first priority was the cupcakes, her second was to invoice me, so I might not see the invoice until Monday. Not only did I get that invoice early on Friday but I also got a picture of the box created - how thoughtful! The cupcakes were reportedly delicious and a big hit. Yours Truly Cupcake is good, just not great. I had these ordered for cupcake week for my birthday - everyday a different cupcake from a new bakery. We ordered the minis from Yours Truly, which are a bit expensive for what you get. The cupcakes were good and the frosting was tasty. The flavors were pretty plain though. Nothing special there. I recently used Yours Truly Cupcake for my wedding in August and was thrilled with the services that I got. The owner, Tiffany, works with you an advance to design the exact flavors and themes that you would like your dessert display to have. She helped me pick out some really unique flavors for the mini cupcakes that either mimicked the cocktails that we were featuring or were flavored specifically to pair with other drinks we were providing. For example, we were using a Moscow Mule as one of our cocktails so Tiffany made infused cupcakes with hints of lime and ginger. She also made cupcakes with goat cheese and cracked pepper to pair with the red wine that we were serving. All of my guests were raving about the desserts and how well our display was set up. Tiffany worked with me to design a table that would really reflect the themes that our wedding had. For a rustic, chic look, she used wine boxes, tiered slices of logs and also some really nice antique serving trays. It looked incredible! My daughter recently turned 21. We had Yours Truly Cupcakes deliver a selection so Cupcakes to her apartment to celebrate her 21st Birthday. We live 360 miles away and contacted Yours Truly Cupcakes by telephone. They were extremely helpful and made excellent suggestions. My daughter and 3 other University of Denver students share an apartment. The ladies loved the selection that Tiffany had suggested and especially her suggestion of mini cupcakes so the girls could sample a variety. My dd traveled to Denver for a tournament during Valentine's Day and I wanted to send a special treat to her hotel room. I live in Va. so I phoned the hotel for a bakery recommendation. They mentioned 'Yours Truly Cupcake' for the job. Tiffany was super helpful and arranged for delivery, card, bow and an assortment of filled, mini-cupcakes. My daughter said they were the 'BEST' cupcakes she had ever had! My kids are huge cupcake fans... They've eaten at Georgetown Cupcakes and other places known for their great desserts so they know good cupcakes when they taste them. I tried a variety of mini cupcakes. None of the flavors were distinct. The sponge to icing ratio was off. Though the buttercream was not the star, neither was the cake...I had also walked in during an awkward dispute between what seemed to be an owner/manager and an employee. I do not feel comfortable supporting businesses that treat their employees in the fashion that i witnessed. From what i could tell, a clerk had made a minute mistake, to which the management made unnecessarily apparent to the full storeroom. the quality did not reinforce the behavior. dang, it never should. read more

I just ordered 2 mini cookie sandwiches and a dog biscuit to go. The chocolate chip cookie sandwiches were really good. The cookies weren't too sweet or hard and with icing in the middle, yum! My dogs also enjoyed the biscuits made in house. I think they were made with peanut butter . The cupcakes did look good, but I have a hard time paying $5 for 3 mini cupcakes and I was craving chocolate chip anyways. As for the neighborhood, if hipsters and people drinking at breweries scare you, stay away. Oh and the smell of marijuana, so some people could be needing some some of these cupcakes. read more

Was visiting from Ohio to celebrate our son's birthdays at a local restaurant on a Sunday evening. The task at hand was to find a bakery with good reviews, open on Sunday with gluten free options and willing to sell me a variety of flavors rather than a dozen of the same cupcake and a dozen gluten free. Yours Truly Cupcake to the rescue! Note that it says on their Yelp profile that they're not open on Sundays but they are. I placed a phone order early in the week with the store manager who patiently explained my options based on their seasonal selections clearly noted on their website. The cupcakes were ready for pick-up at the agreed upon time and were wrapped securely for travel which turned out to be a stop at the hotel, a stop at my son's apartment and the final destination of the restaurant where they were handed off to their capable staff. I chose COCO (chocolate/chocolate), Funfetti, S'more and Red Velvet cupcakes. All were reported to be delicious!! I know my COCO one was yummy...perfect crumb, moist with a luscious buttercream. I purchased 3 gluten free cupcakes (chocolate with vanilla icing) for my son's girlfriend which were mini sized as they didn't come in regular sized...all delicious -- she cried because she's usually excluded from celebratory treats because of her food allergies!! Cupcakes with alcohol, umm yes please! I was lucky enough to snag one of these scrumptious bites at Yelp's Midsummer Night's Dream event last night. I'm not quite sure what was in mine, I do know that it was lemon flavored and didn't last very long in the palm of my hand. I was sad to learn that they don't have a store and are only available at special events and bars/restaurants, but for me (and my love of cupcakes), that is probably a good thing! Love Yours Truly Cupcake for more than just their cupcakes...you gotta get an M&M cookie sammie next time - ain't no joke! Unfortunately last time I went though, on a hot Sunday, it seemed like they hadn't refrigerated their goods and the cupcakes were in fact disgusting. The first Arnold Palmer cupcake I bought, I noticed had a hair on it - gross. Went back, asked for another....The one I ended up eating was practically cake mush and the frosting was all melty; not a good combo for such an unique flavor.
