Ordered 2 chicken souvlakis to go with coleslaw and Greek fries. Never had such poor food. Chicken strips were extremely dry and over peppered without any tzatziki sauce, tomatoes, cucumbers, or onions - did I say DRY?! Pita bread bland, coleslaw warm and soupy, fries soggy. Not going back ~ $30 wasted. So sad. I noticed on the receipt to text them your feedback, so I tried and used the code on the receipt. It returned a text stating "not a valid code". Wellllllllll, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I would skip this place if I were you. To start, Yousef's is located in a very small town. There are no major restaurants nearby, or really any other restaurant option. So after reading all the positive reviews on Yelp I decided to give it a try. Yousef's does offer a nice sized menu with a variety of options. They also have a hot bar where you can pay for each item individually. I had the fried chicken with the David fries and a house salad. My daughter ordered the fried chicken sandwich with Greek fries (seasoned) and onion rings. The fried chicken was ok, but was not very hot and was on the dry side. The house salad was sad... a bit of shredded lettuce and a few scattered diced tomatoes. The ranch dressing was watery. The David fries were ok, but very greasy and slightly undercooked. My daughters sandwich was pretty good, though. Service was a disaster, to be honest. While the woman was sweet, the food took foreverrrrrr to come. Once it finally did arrive my salad was forgotten, as well as my daughter's onion rings. They also gave my daughter crinkle fries instead of the seasoned fries she wanted. We started eating and 15 minutes later (when we were just about done) the waitress came to us with a plate of fried okra instead of the onion rings. She looked at our check and realized that my daughter had received the wrong fries and that okra was not onion rings. At that point I requested a piece of pound cake instead of the onion rings, and the waitress obliged. The cake tasted stale and dry.... To top it all off, the food upset my stomach something terrible later on! Just a terrible experience all around. I am giving two stars because the food tasted ok enough and the waitress was sweet, poor thing. But I would not come back here. read more

This is a great local spot. Everyone is friendly and the staff is excellent. Mostly fried food. The fried chicken dinner is spectacular two big breasts delicious coating nice and crispy. Service is slow unless you call in. Don't expect anyone to follow Covid-19 regulations here. They have 1 sign hardly visible to public. Been waiting almost an hour for our food. Watching call in orders fly out of the kitchen. Nobody's wearing masks, gloves, not social distancing. Waitresses are hugging patrons. Nobody is washing their hands or sanitizing. read more

We go there about once a week and usually at off beat times so avoid the crowds. The servers are sweethearts and help each other out so if you have a problem just tell anyone and they take care of you . The food is fine I prefer grilled and they will gladly do it, their coleslaw is always great and if you don't want fried potatoes you can get baked. Their burgers are good and as for their pound cakes, you learn which are best like choc chip. Stopped by after a week of mountain golf on our way back to HHI, what a great staff and great home cooking. We had not ordered the chicken so the owner brought out some to the table to be sure we did not miss his specialty. What a treat to talk with him and hear his love for America. While passing through Westminster, SC on the 4th of July, we decided to grab a bite for lunch. We noticed Yousef's was one of the few places in town open on the holiday. We're so glad we stopped! Even though the place was hopping, the staff was attentive and the service friendly. I ordered the Arabian Pita with Greek Fries and Fried Green Tomatoes (picture attached). The food was absolutely delicious and so plentiful I couldn't finish it. My husband got the Club Sandwich with Cole Slaw and Onion Rings. The sandwich had hearty portions of real roast beef a good 1/3 inch thick! Everything was homemade and made to order. The iced tea was very good. Several friends told me we should stop at Yousef's if we are in Westminster. We stopped in one afternoon and gave it a try. The place was full of people but we were able to get a seat at a table. Very good local diner. Service is phenomenal and the staff is very friendly. They have a menu full of sandwiches which can be ordered alone or as plates (you get 2 sides with a plate). You can also order different entrees or meat and three. All of the food looked great. My fish sandwich was awesome, the fries and mac and cheese were good but not great. Amazing food all the time, can't beat home cooked meals. I've ate here for 12 years now and always a pleasant experience. Friendly staff and Yousef makes you feel like your family. Food is amazing!! Just the right breading for onion rings and shrimp, crispy thin not super thick where your just eating bread mostly. BLTs and burgers are my favorite here. Just the right bacon not greasy like some places. Salads are amazingly good and I'm very picky about where I eat salad at. Kid friendly and during covid 19 they still have dine in or dine outside or carry out. Also the Tea is sooooo good!! They also have a small hot bar you can get right away if your in a hurry. Passing through Westminster and had read that this was a good place to eat. Six of us stopped for lunch and you would have thought we were daily regulars by the way we were welcomed! Food was great and ample portions. The owner, Yousef, spent time visiting with us as well. As we came back through 4 days later we stopped about 9:30 AM to an empty parking lot. Oh no, they don't serve breakfast, we could not believe, Yousef insisted on us coming in, prepared everything we ordered, eggs, grits, bacon, ham, biscuits, and red eye gravy, Man, did we feel like VIP's. The staff was just as cordial as Yousef. We we will now make special 1 1/2 to 2 hours trip specifically to eat with Yousef!! read more
