Except for the past two weeks I've been going to this location regularly, attempting to switch my home gym. A manager is NEVER there when I go. Never. And I've gone at various times! Afternoon. 4pm. 5pm. 6pm. Throughput the weeks. All on various days. The manager is never there. Up until yesterday, I've been treated kindly and they have always allowed me to workout and come back to try again. I am fine with that except yesterday I was told "I guess I can let you this one time but we're not supposed to let classic members do that." Oh please, no...don't go out of your way to do me any favors. It's not as if I haven't tried multiple times to switch to here. You know what's crazy? I'm literally trying to make this my home gym...clearly this person knew that. It's not like I'm trying to abuse the system and gym hop locations or something. I'm literally trying to switch my gym!!!! Why is this SO hard?!? And How rude of her. She could have easily let me workout knowing this and without making me feel terrible. "This one time." Right so when I show up tomorrow and the manager is not there, I'm going to be denied access?!??? I'm honestly about to cancel my membership.

It's less than a mile from my house, so there are no excuses for not working out! 2. It's small - I like the size of this gym. There are enough machines for me to use, but it's not a giant place that I can get lost in. 3. Price - my spouse teaches at the local school district, and I get a $20 credit every time I go to the gym 12 times in a month. 4. The bathrooms are clean. 5. Free WiFi. Things that could be better: 1. More staffed hours - I rarely see staff there, since I work out after 6. 2. Guest passes - they don't have them anymore. It makes it harder to recruit a workout buddy when they can't try out Snap unless we come during the staffed hours. 3. Machines - there is no way to report when one isn't working, so I sometimes get on one where the TV doesn't work. This is is only a minor annoyance. Being someone who struggled for over 15 years with chronic back pain and fatigue, to my surprise these classes have truly been a life saver. While researching on line trying to find a personal trainer that specializes in working with back problems I came across a journal sentinel article about this gym. I went in knowing nothing or ever even heard of cross fit. I told them about my back problems and my prior surgeries. I started out real slow, barely enough strength to do a girl push up. They spent a lot of time explaining the exercises, how to alter them in regards to my fitness level making sure I do them correctly and use proper form. I mostly work with Matt, who has helped me tremendously. Slowly I've been gaining more and more strength and endurance I didn't know I was capable of. Everyone that works out there is so super supportive and I actually look forward to getting exercise!
