I have no been to the actual location to back up what some of these reviews are saying... But I can…read moretell you this: My girlfriend and I decided to try a new place near us via DoorDash. We both ordered the Penne Portobello and for an appetizer, the House Special Garlic Bread. First off, the salad that came with the dinner was delicious. It was my first time ever getting a salad that had pickled onions in it, which were extremely tasty. The salad also included fresh cherry tomatoes and kalamata olives. Very yummy! Now the main dish.. amazing. Sooo many huge slices of portobello mushrooms and the penne was cooked perfectly. And the sauce? Creamy and yummy. The size was portioned enough to have leftovers for the next day. You know when you get a Alfredo sauce and after you microwave it, the sauce turns into straight oil. Nope, not here. The sauce was still creamy and as good as the day prior when we ordered it. Exquisite. The appetizer... Homemade garlic bread with cheese, pepperoni and what I believe is parsley. So crunchy and tasty. Not too greasy at all. Definitely would recommend it! Pricing isn't bad either. Two dishes (with leftovers), two salads, appetizer, delivery fees, tax and driver tip... Only $45. Crazy. People of Middletown: this is a must try! Next time you're ordering on DoorDash; try out John's of Arthur Avenue. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! 5/5!

Heard many praises about this place through FB. Just ordered large pepperoni pie from this place…read moreusing the Slice app. Actually wanted to try this pizza place for first time. This town has so many food places anyway. It was very good pizza; not so saucy, thin crusted, plenty toppings and cheese. Maybe only minus is price is little high but hey; you pay more to have great food! Typical symbolic textbook NY style pizza! The way should be. Would defintely order here again.

Service was ok, nothing to brag about but we were there in the middle of the day so wasn't expecting anything great. Ambiance is good, typical pub atmosphere. Looks like a cool place to return on the weekend or HH! My advice order the pizza to go or stop in a for a pint!

It…read morewas a great spot then, and after having lunch there again recently, I can confidently add them back into my regular rotation of go-to places. Our server, Liv, was amazing from the moment she sat us down and went over the specials--we knew it was going to be a great experience. The menu is still very much Italian-themed and did not disappoint. The drink menu looked great, but I opted for a beer on tap. My sister went with the Cinco de Mayo margarita flight special, and my wife ordered a soda. We started with the buffalo wings and buffalo chicken egg rolls. I originally planned on getting the chicken bacon ranch pizza, but after some debate and consulting with Liv, she recommended The Giada--and she did NOT disappoint. My sister ordered the tacos, and my wife got The Alessia. The wings were just as good as I remembered--crispy, well-done, and delicious. The buffalo chicken egg rolls only got better with each bite. But the true star was The Giada. I was a bit unsure about the ricotta at first, but one bite changed everything. The creamy ricotta, the salty pepperoni, the kick from the hot honey--it was a full-on flavor symphony that didn't miss a beat. It was so good I ended up offering slices to other tables who overheard me raving about it! From the bar area, you can watch the chef work the wood-fired oven and absolutely crush these pizzas. The tacos were a sleeper hit--I would totally order those just to take home--and The Alessia is a great salad pizza that delivered on flavor. We even went for dessert, trying the brownie Liv recommended. Don't skip dessert--every option looked amazing. The dessert pizza is officially on my radar for next time. It's a cozy spot with good music, TVs showing local games, and an amazing staff that make it a complete experience. Huge shoutout to Liv for the excellent service and spot-on recommendations. 5/5 stars.
