Delicious New York pizza I was exploring the area and searched Maps for pizza joints. This one was close the the area I was photographing and highly rated, so I stopped in and placed an order! The interior is classic pizza restaurant. The service was fast and friendly, answered my menu questions. Wait was relatively short and the pizza was served hot with gooey cheese I decided to eat on a table outside the shop and enjoy the people watching. We had a great time at Sorrentos Pizza. The workers are absolutely amazing. They were kind, patient and super friendly. Made us feel right at home. I was with my family and they were very kind to the children as well as offering us garlic bread! We enjoyed talking to them and our food as well! The place itself was very nice and gave us a traditional pizza feel! Everything was very clean and organized. We usually do delivery from them and we love them! The delivery guy is honestly the nicest guy. Their pizza is amazing! Today we went to the pizza place with our young children and unfortunately one made a mess on the floor. We tried cleaning it up and asked for a dust plan to clean up and the guy behind the counter was so nice! He was completely understanding and said no problem I have kids I understand. Going somewhere that's local and very family oriented is a huge plus and their pizza is the best in Goshen. I can't rate them high enough. read more

I scoped out Sorrento's on a Thursday thinking it might be nice to go there with my cousin on Saturday for a slice. We went midday Saturday and we soon served two very generous slices, the toppings were excellent one vegetable and the other sausage, mushroom and cheese. What stood out about Sorrento's pizza is the very thin and crispy crust. The sauce was mild and good, service was fast. Amazing food! So super fresh, I highly recommend this restaurant. I had the Arthur Ave Italian combo cold hero. The bread was so fresh, the ingredients and choice of deli cuts was superb. My husband had a slice of pepperoni pizza , that was perfection. My step son had a cheese calzone that was so fresh and it had the right cheese pull. Walking through the quaint Village of Goshen, we decided to get a slice of pizza, this is not our usual place, but it will be! We tried the plain, shrimp and calamari, and chicken marsala slices. My family ordered 4 pizzas for a get together. The pies were not consistent in taste and thoroughness of cooking. The plain pies were soggy and rubbery. The pepperoni was prepared pretty decently with the exception that the pepperoni itself was thrown on after it was cooked rather than cooked with the pie. The chicken bacon ranch was disappointing as well. Some places choose to do a white pie with the ingredients and we should have specified that's what we were looking for, however it was a regular pie with the ingredients on top. The pie itself was lopsided so while the whole pie had ranch devouring it, there was bacon to left and chicken to the right and maybe a few slices had both. A great place to eat! The hospitality from the owners made it feel as though we were family. Needless to say my 2 year old son enjoyed their pizza! My mother loved their eggplant rollatini. It was the best she ever had just like the owner said it would be. Their baked ziti was delicious and extra cheesy as well. The conversation with everyone is what really made it more enjoyable not just the flavors of food, but the flavors of conversation topics. Thanks for making us feel at home. Growing up in Jersey close to the city with pizza as my top pick I was thrilled to stumble upon this resteraunt when I moved to Orange County. I appreciate good pizza and I come back to Sorrento's when I'm in the area because I love it the best. I had a welcoming friendly talk with the owner after he received a terrible review that was unjust. I was appreciated how much attention and pride he puts into what he does and how much what he does means to him. As a Social Worker it is my job to build people up but was unaware he might have questioned the authenticity of how unique his chosen ingredients and quality enhanced. I do not typically write reviews but this one was worth it . If you want a great "plain" slice of pizza or meal out I highly recommend Sorrentos. I will always be stopping in for my slice and have no hesitation saying you won't be disappointed. read more

There is a plethora of pizzerias in the small village of Goshen and honestly, they are all pretty good. But Sorrento's is my favorite. They always have a nice selection of slice pies available ( the slices and are HUGE) and their crust is perfectly thin and crispy. The salads are also very fresh. The best part is the friendly owner, he always asks about your day and chats a bit, so refreshing. I highly recommend a slice of their white pie if that's your thing, one of the best white pies I've tasted! read more

Pizza is a fine, the crust needs more salt though. The garlic knots need more and fresher garlic, and some salt. Otherwise a nice place.

"Holy Stale Pizza Batman!" I have to say I visited Sorrentos with very high expectations based on the reviews and pricing. I thought this place was going to be the epitome of amazing pizza but that was NOT the case. I called to pick up my pie and was told it would take an HOUR. I thought, "An hour! No big deal because the pizza is going to be amazing and super fresh!" Well if you eat pizza as much as I do in my lifetime you can tell you got a pie that was likely pre-made earlier and simply tossed into the oven and re-heated. So Sorrentos sold me a day old pie AND made me wait an hour for it? Days prior I visited a competing pizza shop and when I got home with the pie I ordered the cheese had shifted in the box. Why did the pizza shift from that other vendor? Because the pie was FRESH and piping hot! I might give Sorrentos another try but I'm seriously on the fence about returning to this place. The best customer service and best food anywhere in the area. I especially recommend the salad pizzas(my sister is vegan and can't get enough) and the chicken parmesan pizza is my nephew's favorite. The calamari is outstanding-my favorite. The biggest thing for me, though, is they have bent over backward to make timely deliveries to friends and family. We picked up lunch for my sister and brother in law for a visit. The pizza was hot, crispy and waiting for us. We also had possibly the best fettuccine Alfredo we ever had. It was a large portion that was not like most in a soupy mixture and flowing in butter. The pasta was perfect and the sauce was even better. The parking is not the best, you might have to walk a bit but this place to me is worth the exercise. I'm sorry but I'm thoroughly annoyed. Called to order delivery. 45 minute wait, as usual. I Live literally, YARDS away. Show up, my side salad only fills up half the container, as usual. The calamari is cold. The chicken fantasia I ordered was devoid of any sauce, yet somehow covered in red grease... this dish didn't even come with a red sauce yet somehow there's red grease. I ordered it with no broccoli. Girl I talked to on the phone repeated, "no broccoli," THREE TIMES. Told her upstairs, driver says she told him downstairs. Girl literally had me spell my order out, because she didn't know what it was, then asks me if it's pizza. No, it's pasta. I'm truly done giving them chance after chance. Drop $30 on a dinner that was so gross. $30! They always say how much pride they take in their work but I honestly couldn't tell you why. It always seems like they don't care, at all. Family and I went to Legoland and wanted something before driving two hours home. Kid can't go wrong with pepperoni pizza. Called and ordered it and then because the weather was so nice we sat outside and shared it at the picnic table out front. While waiting for the pizza, we called before and ordered it, i saw they also had pizza by the slice. They have a Pasta with Vodka Sauce, and other but they pointed out thier salad pizza. This was the best looking most vibrant looking salad on a pizza crust I have ever seen. Spinach salad with tomatoes onions and diced mozzarella in a homemade dressing, vinaigrette on a crust. The pizza looked marketing materials great and then I tasted it. It tasted better than it looked, and as I said it looked great and fresh. The salad with the dressing on a crunchy crust brushed with olive oil and a little pesto. Now the pizza I ordered was good.
