Very disappointed with this place. I will not go back. I've had many massages and this is the first time I walked in the middle of getting one. Not only the gentleman had no clue of what he was doing but he rubbed the same area of my back for over 10 min over the towel wish was hurting my skin. They never even used oil or lotion which I found strange for a massage place. When I left he lady charged me $35 which I found ridiculous. She never asked me how she could do better instead she said we don't usually do back massages, then why did you offer it? She never apologized. I just have to say that this is a very Awesome place! You get so much in a very cheap price! The 1 hour foot massage which is only $30, makes me feel so relaxed~ I thought it would just be simple foot massage, but instead they massage your whole entire body! Like the head, arms, shoulders, backs, and a lot more! I would definitely make this place a weekly thing where I go and relax myself from the stress I receive from work and school. Never been told how much I have to tip at end of service! I personally was uncomfortable in their chairs and kept bringing it to her attention, but she acted as if she didn't know what I was talking about. Her massage was okay. The lack of not fixing how uncomfortable I was bothered me then telling me I have to tip more. I'm usually a great tipper, but it was lacking and felt for that reason why do a nice tip. I've gone to a few "foot massages" in Cali so I was surprise to find one here in Gilbert. Even though these places says "foot massage" they actually do full body massages. Prices are very affordable. My friend and I came in on a Saturday around 5pm and we waited about 20minutes. We sat in a small waiting that only had a futon looking couch to sit on and was not comfortable. I felt like I was going to fall through sitting down! They called us both in and we walked right into the first room to our left which was next to the waiting area we were sitting at. The room was dim and the room had calming music playing. There were 3 bed light seating areas for us to lay down at and my friend and I were next to each other. The a/c was on full blast I thought it was kinda chilly but we figured maybe when they start the massage we wouldn't notice. We did not have to remove out clothes which is what I rather prefer. They brought a bucket of warm water for us to start off with to soak our feet in. The water went cold quick so wish it was a little hotter when they brought it out. We laid down on our backs while our feet is still soaking. The massage starts from eye level up so yes they massage your temple, forehead, head and parts of your face so if you don't like someone touching your face you may want to mention that. Then they turn you to the right then left to get to the shoulder area. They took the buckets of water away and wiped down out feet to start the massage. Which I think I fell asleep 3x during this part. Oh and they did put a face towel over our eyes the entire time they do the massage. The last part was we turn over and they massage our backs. Now this part woke me up! She definitely worked my back out. Her elbows were dug right in. They massage from your back all the way down to your calves. I wasn't sure if I was feeling good or not because it felt painful at times. Yeah yeah I know I should of asked her to go lighter but I figured maybe this will help my tense muscles relax. All I know by the end I was sore. I think they should at least ask if it was too strong during parts of the massage. I'm saying this because the ones in Cali that I go to would stop and ask that. And the walls were very thin because during this whole massage we can hear everything in the waiting room including the phone conversation the receptionist had! read more

Very inexpensive you get a lot of time for your money. Walk-ins are not as easily available was I wish they would I've been turned down three times for walk/ins. You also never know what you're going to get you go in for reflexology and you end up with deep tissue massage, ouch! They are not very good English so you pretty much can't communicate with them you just give them the money and you get what you get! Today I had knees in my back, ouch. And a very aggressive head scratching session, ouch! The footwork and arm and handwork is nice, I just wish when I only wanted reflexology I can get something not so painful. I was given a gift certificate for $30 to Yoyo foot massage and it was light years beyond just having amazing foot reflexology. The man (Jake) was terrific and just the right pressure for face, back and feet. I can't imagine needing more than an hour, as I thought 60 minutes was ideal and felt very complete. The white towels were soft and very clean, as was the room itself. I bought a gift certificate for a friend before I left, as I was so impressed. I left a 33% tip, as it was it was so affordable. I pay $80 for 50 minute body massage so this is a bargain. It is in a professional shopping center and their rent has to be pricey which makes the fee even more surprising! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED -- this is the best service I've experience of this nature EVER! (and I'm a senior)! read more

The person giving the massage didn't speak much English but I think if you are not happy or in pain he can understand you fine. But if you are really finicky about these things, then avoid. This is my second time visiting- the front receptionist is very friendly and she is great with making phone appointments- once you're in you're taken to a small private (couples room). Friendly staff, however, the masseuses all smoke! They start on your face and it was is so strong I had to ask him to stop and go wash his hands. I got through it and when finished felt like I needed a shower. He was very apologetic. I gave it another try the following week requesting another provider and he wreaked of smoke, as well. :(( read more

I have been there a few times and always bring new friends with me. I received the 90 minute message for $45. The massage itself is always good, however I had the most awkward experience when paying. I paid for the massage itself on my debit card and left $9 for tip. For anyone that can count, that is 20% on the dot. I have worked in the restaurant industry for years, so I almost always leave 20%. As I give the lady at the desk the $9 cash, she counts it out in front of me (and my friend) and says "um, this was a 90 minute message.... Can you please add at least 1 more dollar to be $10+ for tip?". I was dumbfounded because I have never even been asked to leave more, especially considering 20% was left. My friend and I walked out of there thinking "what the heck just happened". I will never be going back there and we made sure all our friends heard about it. Worst massage ever. I have been to many of these Chinese foot massage places, both here and in California. I have never hurt so bad. This guy was very rough. He would rub one spot over and over and over, much too long to be comfortable, or professional. He rubbed my feet really hard with his knuckles. I told him it was too hard. He proceeded to do it again on the other foot. I kept pulling my foot away and saying ouch. He never changed the pressure. But he did start up a conversation (foreign language) with the other massage therapist who was working on another customer next to me. She barely responded to him, probably because she is more professional. When I flipped over, he proceeded to dig his elbows, boney arms and knuckles into my back. Again I kept saying ouch and was constantly tensing, squirming and flinching from the pressure. I don't think he used his hands at all, just boney appendages. There was nothing relaxing about this experience. I couldn't take it any more so I got up early and said, 'No more. You are way too rough.' And I left. I paid but did not tip. I now question if he is even licensed to do massages. If he is, he needs more training. read more

I've been going to Yoyo for a few months and I enjoyed it for the most part. I'm realistic; I'm paying $30 for an hour so yes maybe the therapists hands smelt like cigarettes when he was massaging my face, maybe the therapist talked to the other therapist in the room during my massage, maybe the massage was too rough and the next time too soft (they don't ask preference), but I can see past these factors due to the price. I would have rated Yoyo a 4 start for the service they were providing for the price, until my last experience. The therapist was literally texting during the whole service. Every 10 to 15 seconds I could hear him pick up his phone, text (stop massaging) and he would put his phone down on the bed and then continue massaging. This continued for 45 minutes (I booked a 2 hour massage). I was so frustrated by 45 minutes into the massage, I took off the towel from my eyes (he put his phone down really fast) and walked out of the room. I explained to him and the woman at the front desk. He apologized. She asked me to pay for the 45 mins. I understand I could have gotten up sooner, but I was just hoping he would stop. After so long, I realized there was no way he was going to stop. Plus, I was trying to get the courage to get up and leave. It's not something I've ever done. I understand that things happen and we all aren't 100% all the time, we're human, but I'm writting the review because not only was the "massage" the worst, but the woman in the front was too. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. I'm on the search to find a reflexology place with just a little bit more professionalism and customer service. read more

Have never actually been to this place but will never go based on phone interaction. I called to see if there was anything available and told the lady I was waiting for my friend to get out of work so we could be there. She made it sound like we could've walked in since she pretty much just gave me a bunch of times like every half hour. Since our work usually gets out around 530, I set an appt for us at 6. Now being in the medical field, times r never a guarantee, but I felt pretty confident that we would be okay since the times were so loosely proposed. I texted my friend and she confirmed she would come pick me up after she got out. At 6:03, I receive a call asking where we are. I let her know again, I was waiting for my friend to which she responded, "so when will uou be here?!" I said that I was waiting on my friend and did not know at this point. "Soooo 6:30?!" I asked if they were open at 7. She told me yes and then proceeded to scold me about how I should have called her (3 min after 6pm) to let her know because her friends wanted to come in. I ignored this and just said we'd be in at 7. after talking with my friend, we decided that it was too late. I called to cancel and she hung up on me. So unprofessional. I hope that your business can just run on "your friends'" appointments because customer service is terrible. read more
