I haven't met anyone who did not like a "YoYo's hot dog"! My first time trying it was at a festival on UH campus, they had a tent. The owner himself handed me my first "dog" and said it would "change my life", it may not have changed my life, but my tastebuds were awaken! They have a brick and morter (in addition to their location at Post Houston). This brick and morter, though small inside, packs powerful punches delivering those dogs quick! This location on Washington Ave, is best for pick orders only, not for sit down. Off-street parking is available. Orders can be placed in advance or on the spot for pick up. These dogs are so good! Now, their French fries may not be the best, but they are ok. Nonetheless, I'll be back for sure! If you haven't had an authentic Yoyo's Hot Dog, what are you waiting for? Try them out soon! Awaken your tastebuds! #ElevatedHotdogs Enjoy!

Great hot dog! Staff were friendly and the food came out within 10min. If you're looking for a late night spot and want a hot dog with some unique toppings, check this place out! Just need to keep in mind that there is no seating.

Sooo delicious. The hotdogs are always consistent and great every single time. This is my first time at this location. I always go to Post Houston to get them, I also tried the fries for the first time, first off I had to try one before I left to go home so I can see how they were fresh. They are so crispy, so delicious, and just filled with good flavor. The inside lobby was pretty small but it works for this location, I just asked them to deliver my food through the walk up window, which was

This is a small hot dog shop without seating where they only have one hot dog option as well as a vegetarian dog. The hot dog had a unique flavour, and it was fine. Not super great, but I liked it. The bulgogi fries, on the other hand, had a strange flavour and were not very appetizing. The employees were friendly, and they have a cute polaroid wall of couples and how they met.

I'm not the type of person that usually goes to a restaurant for a hotdog, however I had seen good things about this place do I decided to try it myself. I ordered it and it was out immediately, the taste was well over what I was expecting. It did not taste like a typical hotdog and with all the toppings on top of it that paired nicely with, the combination of mayo, hot sauce, and onions. The hot dog was also very juicy on the inside. Inside it looked as if they only do to go orders but I did see a seating area next door that looked like a taqueria but I'm not sure if it's a shared space.

I remember when it was just a food cart in Rice Village. So great to see a brick and mortar. This location is small so place your order and stand outside because it gets packed with just a few people. The prices are higher than I remember from the food cart but overhead costs of having a building I guess. The food is still great though.

classic, delicious houston hot dog I used to go to YoYos when it was a cart late night in rice village and the brick and mortar is just as good. The hours have been a little strange but they're pretty standard now, evening-late night. Per the menu- " a bun spread with cream cheese, all-beef hotdog, caramelized onions, fried onions, hot sauce, honey, and mayo." It is perfect, it is filling, and it is the same every time. Service at this location is a little slow considering it's a hot dog, but they make the order right in front of you which is nice No tables and chairs, you order, get your food, and leave. Service is friendly and to the point, and there's also a window for late night orders.

This was just mid to me. It wasn't that good. Bun was crusty. There is no place to sit, so if you looking for that, you not getting it. The fuzzy was $8 and not worth it in my opinion.

Capped off a night of pickleball with Houston's iconic Yoyo's hotdogs. I first tried them when they used to be in rice village. I went to their Washington Ave location at 1 am. They're a convenient late night spot since they close at midnight or 2. It's a tiny spot where you order for takeout. They have basically no dine in room available. I got their yo-yo hotdog which is topped with cream cheese, caramelized onion, crunchy fried onion, honey mayo, and hot sauce. I remember back then they had other toppings like curry ketchup. Our order came out pretty fast and the hotdogs definitely hit the spot. A little expensive especially compared to their old price back then but it is very tasty and filling. I also tried some bulgogi fries and they were solid as well.

I have been wanting to try these hot dogs since forever! I pass by and think about it often. I even see the location at The Post. We had just finished watching a movie at IPIC and was bummed they didn't have hot dogs on their menu. I love a good hot dog at the movies or the ballpark. We only ordered drinks and popcorn, so we headed off to find food. Finally had the opportunity while headed to Cava, and I saw YoYo's and convinced my bf for hot dogs instead. I win. Lol. No one was there when we arrived, but after we ordered, a bunch of groups started coming in. It's to-go only, and they sell a few canned drinks, water, and lemonade. The all-beef hot dogs are topped with caramelized onions, fried onion, honey mayo, and cream cheese. Yum. Clogged arteries, here we come! But oh so worth it! I got mine all the way, and my bf asked for no mayo or cream cheese. Por que?! He's more health conscious than me. We both enjoyed our versions. It was so hard to resist not scarfing it down in the car on the way home. I'm glad we tried it, and there wasn't the usual line. We'll be back!

Nut allergy friendly: They serve one dish here, and it doesn't have any nuts! Order to Hot Dog: less than 6 minutes It's a 5/5 spot if you've never been, but a 4/5 if you've had the old Yoyo's. Maybe that's just my nostalgia talking, though. Houston natives remember the days when we had to line up in Rice Village for 45+ minutes on a humid summer evening for a hot dog at Yoyo's hot dog stand. How the times have changed! The price is now $8 instead of the old $4-5, but the charm is still there. Yoyo's is the great equalizer, where people of all nationalities and socioeconomic background meet to get an amazing late night bite. The hot dog in general feels smaller than it used to be. I think it's less loaded with caramelized onion than it used to be, and the hot dog itself is smaller. They don't make them like they used to, but it's still a banger of a hot dog. We've traded a 45+ minute wait in line for a smaller and more expensive hot dog. Best enjoyed while intoxicated or after midnight. I'll be back, though I hope they can continue loading the hot dog with the delicious toppings. Edit: I had a problem with billing and called in and the OG Danny himself set me right. He's still got it, 10/5 service.

Good day folks! Little corner shop - open window to the kitchen - no booths - no chairs - that means we are eating outside in the parking lot! Nothing beats food you can eat sitting down on parking lot block or standing eating it off your car hood! We are 956 and street food has been part of us all my life. And hotdogs are a perfect street food and Yoyos makes a dammn good one. First time here so I made sure I ate that dog slowly and enjoyed their creation and new combination of flavors in my mouth. Young man taking our order was all about the Yo-Yo's vibe and made sure we knew we were stepping into a special unique place. Thank you Yoyo's Let Love Lead!

This is a really good hotdog. I love onions but I can't taste the onions. Maybe they cooked all the flavor outta them. The meat is flavorful but value is lacking at $8 per hotdog. Still, it's one of the best hotdogs I've ever had.

Food was really good for 8$

We shared a large strawberry and mango shaved ice, which was a great size and was loaded with fresh fruit. It also had a drizzle of condensed milk that tied everything together perfectly. The shaved ice itself was super soft with a really light, fluffy texture. The combination of fresh fruit, ice, and condensed milk was so refreshing and delicious. There were plenty of tables inside, so even with the crowd, it wasn't hard to find seating. The space was also very clean. After finishing, you bring your bowls to the front, which helps keep tables turning over quickly. Definitely a great spot if you're looking for something refreshing on a hot day!

It's become a rite of passage for street food loving folks, which is often the case for aa lunch time snack or a late night . While I can't say I was impressed with everything I had, I am pleased it was all simple and affordable. The first thing is the corn, which in this case is elote (on the cob) or elote en vaso (#2), which is served in a syrofoam cup. The condiments are self serve, so the toppings are as up to the customer. I personally likes of lime, cotija chese, chile powder, and a nice slab of butter. Some of my corn pieces in both the cob and cup version were a tinge dry, but it was enjoyable as a whole. Their Mexican style hot dog is likely the best thing they have. Wrapped in bacon and decked out in a myriad of peppers, onions, jalapeños, tomatoes, and sauces, it is a hefty dog for less than $5. There is a smaller sausage version for kids, but it's rarely available. They also have fajita tacos for $2 each. There are no other meats available, but the portions are very generous. Sadly, the tacos were average at best and the salsa verde was underwhelming. i also didn't appreciate the old limes that were just thrown into the bag without being separated in its own. Spanish is preferred and this is a cash only business. Seating options are zero, so plan to eat this on the small counter space on the spot, or back in the car for a takeout / take home date. This would be an excellent option for a casual lunch or a snack in the near-wee hours of the evening. __________ (#1) Tacos, mainly. (#2) Known in other circles as "esquite."
