A bit pricey compared to other yogurt places (understandable due to high cost of rent in Westlake area), But the quality is good, pretty rich taste and texture for the yogurt. Lots of toppings to choose from and the place is clean.

Yogurt is consistently great with wide variety of flavors toppings that rotate. Prefer this over the big chain places.

Not sure if there is much space for sitting around but they do have some board games. The air conditioning is very cool, perfect for the hot summer days, though the service can be a little bit warmer. A smile or hello is sufficient when we walked in as the only two customers. It was literally a bit awkward when we asked for samples because the two servers didn't really seem to be ready to help. My daughter liked the gelato so it's all good. It's tucked away in an unassuming corner with a relaxed outdoor seating area next to a fountain that somehow makes the whole experience feel even better. The flavor lineup balanced classics with more creative combinations, and honestly, everything looked like a home run. Service was good and the gelato itself absolutely delivered Parking? Lot I had: Blackberry Mascarpone (5/5): This was killer. The blackberry brought a deep, jammy sweetness while the mascarpone added this rich, fatty creaminess that rounded everything out beautifully. It tasted layered and balanced instead of just sweet for the sake of being sweet. The kind of flavor that makes you immediately start debating whether getting another scoop is irresponsible or completely justified The Elvis (5/5): Elvis knew what he was doing. Banana, chocolate, and peanut butter sounds like it could go off the rails fast, but this combo absolutely worked. The banana actually tasted real instead of artificial candy flavoring, which immediately elevated the whole thing. Rich, nostalgic, slightly over the top in the best possible way. A genuinely great gelato flavor

As a result, Dear Hubby and I haven't been close by to Little Calf to remember to stop in for quite a while. Recently, though, after a nearby medical appointment I felt like some non-dairy ice cream. It was a Saturday in the mid-afternoon, and they weren't very crowded, which worked out great for us. They always have at least four options for frozen "ice cream" without the cows' milk dairy. Having just been through an MRI test, I decided to treat myself to a small sundae. Hadn't had one in ages! Their hot fudge is outstanding! Just the hit of chocolately goodness I was craving. I paired it with lemon sorbet. It was a wonderful combination of sweet and tart. It was warm enough to sit out on their side patio and just relax for a while. I remarked to DH that I miss all the plants that the previous business owner had kept out on the patio for atmosphere. The current iteration is clean, but on the boring side. We love their food, so I'm overlooking the lack of ambiance for now. That being said, DH and I have been discussing recently how much we miss the kinds of places that used to have great style in their decor. Theme restaurants are more rare these days than they ought to be. I'm sorry for our kids and grandkids that they don't get to experience more of those kinds of visually interesting kinds of places without having to go to a theme park. I definitely enjoyed my small sundae as a wind-down from the whole MRI experience!

They got a variety of ice creams, some common ones but also some new ones. This is the first place I ever had a chance to try the espresso ice cream, which is ice cream with a shot of espresso, and it was delicious, especially as a coffee lover and ice cream lover. Kids devoured all their ice cream, which is rare for them to do. They also serve food here, which we did not get to try but is good to know is an option. They have tables everywhere and a fountain machine and some unique teas I got to try, like their lavender tea! This was beautiful and so amazing. I can't wait to come back and grab another ice cream espresso from here and maybe try one of their sandwiches. Yum!

They once competed with Menchies and Pink-berry both just across in adjacent shopping centers. Now, it's one of the go-to fro-yo places, if not Yozen Frogurt across the freeway. Between the two, if you're looking for fro-yo, Yogurtland is the way to go. If you're looking for a sweet treat or any kind of ice cream, Yogurtland typically isn't my first choice. Every single time I've come to this location, at least one of the flavors doesn't work and is just liquid. There's not always a sign, and this most recent time, it was their tart and root-beer float flavors. The flavors that they did have were good and offered a variety of around 10 options, some of which change based on new promotions or events happening. When it comes to dairy free, I think they had only one sorbet flavor unfortunately. For their toppings, there's a bunch to choose from like fruit, candy, mochi, cereal, sauces, and more. My sister and I put ours on the scale, paid, and sat outside to eat. When it comes to price, Yogurtland isn't bad, but they're definitely not great and have raised their price per ounce. Now, they're about $0.70-$0.85 an ounce, but it really ranges based on location, some going up to $1.35 an ounce. Even so, that means that a pint of ice cream would cost you $13.60 without tax, when a normal pint of ice cream at the store is around $3-$5. That's like having three pints of ice cream vs. one. They have seating inside and outside, which is nice, as well as a fountain outside with the neighboring restaurants and stores. This is a place where a lot of the surrounding high school students come through, so I wouldn't expect peace and quiet, even though the neighborhoods typically are. The workers at Yogurtland have also pretty much always have been high schoolers or college students, and most of the time, there seems to be only one person working, so sometimes the process can be a bit timely. Overall, Yogurtland isn't a bad place to grab fro-yo, but if you want ice cream or a sweet treat, you might be better off spending the same money, if not less, getting a pint of Ben and Jerry's at the grocery store across the street.
