NEVER AGAIN! I would never recommend this place to anyone! From the get go - I made an appointment for 6:30am she no showed. Said her phone died - gave me a complimentary lash. Understand things & life happens okay. I make appointments and almost everytime tries to reschedule. I sent a picture of how my hair looked & how I wanted it. Paid $90 for bullshit ass hair. I asked for black hair - my roots are still brown. She blames it on "MY" miscommunication. I drove 45 minutes to get my hair done for her to say I can't do what you want. As she argues with me that this "misunderstanding" was all my fault. I get upset and ask to leave. Keep in mind I have color in my hair as she allows me to leave. My appointment was at 6pm - I was 4 minutes late. As I am arriving I receive a text that says she has an event and can I come the following day. So unprofessional - never again will I give this place business. Too bad I can't attach print screens informing you that I would be late the first appointment & showing you exactly what I wanted. But a no show for your client is acceptable. Thanks for leaving my hair looking shitty after paying you for services you didn't do. I leave for out of town in the morning at 5AM. Since you insist on keep updating your response after several weeks should I bring up your messyness that ruined a pair of my pants because you didn't inform me before I arrived that your machine that accepted cards was down and you asked me to leave with my hair in a cap to be able to pay you. It's not my problem that your machine is down and it's your responsibility to inform you clients. As I also mentioned in the text the hair dye got on my seats and door panel. So you can stop now! Nobody is slandering your business - it's preventing others from having to pay OVERPRICED for services they won't receive. When I left your salon the first time & second time - neither were blue as shown in the picture so regardless what did I pay you for? A bad attitude & a lesson to never use your salon again. If you were so confident in your work & you say you've been in the business so long - why did you have to confirm with a colleague wether you should apply bleach again to my hair? read more

Communication was poor. Calendaring an appt was basically impossible. All appointments made were canceled on me after multiple excuses.

My experience is not my own but one of my friend. Also, the sad part about it is that I never stepped foot in the salon. The salon looks beautiful and may be reputable. Their traveling stylist Rena however comes to Florida and uses the salon's name to promote her business. However she is not a licensed stylist. She has a license in braiding that apparently isn't even valid in the state of California. She showed up 3 hours late to my friend's previously planned appointment, not finishing until 3 in the morning. My friend called her a few hours later to let her know she was not pleased with the hairstyle due to crooked parts, some locs being significantly larger than others and there only being about 50 locs. Rena admitted that she had worked on three heads before my friend and she overbooked that day and stated she would be willing to fix the style. She gave my friend the option of Wednesday or Friday and my friend chose Friday telling her she was off by 5:30PM. They were supposed to meet up around 6:00PM and my friend text her at 5:00PM to solidify. No response. Not a response until 7:10PM and she was again working on the hair of someone else. By this time my friend was frustrated and told her she didn't feel like Rena was being professional and Rena offered to refund the entire amount for the style. The next text then stated she could be there the next morning at 7:00AM or she could refund her money. When my friend stated the refund was the best option because she didn't want to give it another try, Rena decided to make up this policy on the spot stating she had to get a picture of the locs out of her head before she could get the refund. A policy that was never previously discussed, put in writing, etc. She is using the YSSL Hair Studio on all her social media so they were contacted and we were told since she's not an actual stylist it was nothing they could do. If she's allowed to reporesent this brand and continue to work in the salon while being unprofessional and doing subpar work, they too must be held responsible for the lack of action. read more
