They've only been open for about three months, and they still had their grand opening sign outside, which made it exciting to support a newer local business. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but it has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that makes up for the limited space. Seating is self-serve, and it was easy to find a table. There were only two servers working during our visit, so service was a little slower than expected. However, our server, Nuso, was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive. Even though she was busy, she always checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. She truly made us feel welcome. The food was the highlight of our visit. Every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Everything exceeded our expectations, and you could tell the ingredients were high quality and made with care. The black sticky rice, mango and coconut milk dessert is a must-try! It wasn't overly sweet, and the black sticky rice had the perfect texture and amazing flavor. It was the perfect way to end our meal. We saw a Facebook ad for this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We were seated quickly, and the ambiance was pleasant. The menus were solid plastic with clear photos of every dish, which was nice. We ordered several items--half were good, half were meh. The scallion pancakes had barely any scallions, which was disappointing. The pan‑fried pork and mushroom dumplings were excellent. The popcorn chicken was mostly breading and basically garbage. The rainbow soup dumplings were interesting but not impressive. The sesame noodles with minced pork tasted good but came out cold. Our biggest annoyance: one napkin. They were tiny--more like drink coasters or ice‑cream‑cone wrappers. I had to get up and grab more napkins from the front desk. Stop being frugal with napkins. Service was fine, but you had to keep raising your hand to get attention. As always, we asked ourselves whether we'd come back. This time, the answer is no. read more

Located in a busy shopping center, it brings diverse food options here. We came during their soft opening so service was a bit slower due to large crowds. Highly recommend their sour cabbage fish noodle soup. Their chicken leg soup is a popular choice for those with kids. They do offer different drink options here, but never tried them. The staff here were friendly and some menu options were not available at the time. The manager was angry and confrontational toward me over a simple misunderstanding. There is a small sign near the entrance stating that if you order at the counter, your order is considered carryout. I did not see the sign, and when my food was brought to me, I was told that I needed to leave. I explained that I genuinely had not noticed the sign and suggested that the policy should be made more prominent--perhaps at the counter--and that the cashier could simply ask, "Is this for takeout or dining in?" That would have easily prevented the misunderstanding. Instead, the manager insisted that I was wrong and told me that I needed to leave or he would call the police. I found the way the situation was handled completely unnecessary and very disappointing. It's a shame because the food was actually pretty good. However, customer service and hospitality are an important part of the dining experience. I won't return to a restaurant where a simple misunderstanding is handled in such an aggressive and unwelcoming way. read more

Yu Noodles has some delicious hand made noodles in soup and amazing soup dumplings. When we heard there was a new location opening we had to go support. You're greeted immediately with a warm welcome. Water follows shortly after getting seated and is always topped. The dumplings always hit the spot with the hot soup filled in each dumpling. Poke a hole on the top and add some soy sauce; yummy. We usually get pork and beef. Pork is my favorite. It seems like one won't get full off dumplings, however, I always find I do. It's a must to get a soup and my go to is the Sichuan Beef Noodles. It's so good! I usually opt for extra noodles. The broth and noodles are always perfect. There's really no need to add hot sauce or anything else. Chefs kiss! I decided to end the meal with a cold Thai Tea and it did not disappoint. read more

I love me my noodles and soup, and the chicken noodles were surprisingly good, yet simple, perfect for non spicy option. We happened to be around here for a hair cut and I spotted this place on the map. The restaurant had just opened so we were basically the first ones there. There's a kiosk in the foyer for people doing take out orders which is probably handy when the restaurant is busier. The inside is very nicely renovated. Wood panels and Chinese style red paper lanterns make you feel a little like you're stepping back into time. The chairs are comfortable too. I ordered a chicken rice dish. I didn't know what to expect with the chicken but apart from the chicken being pretty tender, the skin was also lightly fried and crispy. It also came with some minced pork and a little bit of broccoli and Napa cabbage. We also tried the beef and pork soup dumplings, mango smoothie and soy milk. The soup dumplings weren't enormous but they were pretty flavorful and we enjoyed them. There are two all-gender restrooms which were clean. Even though the website advertised the restaurant as being affordable, I wouldn't say it's super affordable as we spent over $50 not including tip. We did enjoy our dining experience here though and would like to come back if our budgets and waistlines allow. read more

This location opened not too long ago. I'm glad they opened. It is nice to have more Chinese options in Ellicott City. They serve the same items as the location in Columbia. Personally, I had a better experience here (could have been because they just opened) than the Columbia location. The service was similar, but the last time I went to the Columbia location something was off with the food. Since there is an EC option, I will go here instead. read more

I've had a noodle dish, the stewed pork rice, and the soy milk from the Rockville location before and felt a bit disappointed. Here, I had the Jajang noodle and soy milk, and the seasoning felt somewhat bland. The biggest disappointment I think was the soy milk, which tasted like it was store bought. The one from Rockville prided itself in hand making the soy milk, and it's easy to tell the difference. It's hard to find good, homemade soy milk these days, and I wished the branches had it too. The food was ok, but I should've tried their noodle dishes. I opted for rice dish with pork chops. The food was lukewarm and had some spots that was cold. I asked for a fork and got a plastic one. I wasn't too happy about that, but one of the other waitresses got me a metal fork. I might try their noodle dish the next time I go there. Would love to review the food, but after 10 minutes of watching five servers gossiping, we chose to go to the Columbia location. I have never walked out of a restaurant, but if you are fully staffed (FIVE servers) with three tables, two already have their food, it should not take that long to notice one table constantly trying to get your attention while you talk in a circle. They just watched us sit there for 10 minutes without service and leave. It was so uncomfortable and we will take our business elsewhere. The Columbia had never treated us with disrespect but this location needs to get its act together. read more
