Specifically, PA Eric Song is incredible -- he has an amazing bedside manner, a big heart, and always takes the time to listen, explain, and make you feel cared for, not rushed. Every time we have been there (I have two young twins--so unfortunately we have been to the urgent care way too many times) we ask for Eric. I do not recommend this place, the front desk is so rude as well as the doctor on staff, Shelley Hasselman. I had my parent take my child to be seen, after getting results back I called to speak to the physician to help interpret the results. I've called twice and the physician has yet to call me. Shelley needs to work on her patient care, coming from someone who works in healthcare. Criticized for bringing my child in and saying why didn't you bring him in sooner, when we were just there two weeks prior for the same reason and was told it was a virus. Do better! You are dealing with people who are sick & in pain. Have some compassion. read more

The worst service ever! The manager and staff are unprofessional and rude!! When I asked when will the doctor be in the rude manager said it's not my business. They also took money and did not provide the services! They have refused to provide a refund, when I called and spoke to the manager she hung up. Avoid the fraudulent place! They claim their staff are trained clearly they are not, I was mad because they refused to complete the service I paid for the doctor said one thing and the staff said something else, they said the doctor is not authorized to make decisions. I went to Yucaipa urgent Care presenting with cold symptoms and nausea. I had provided a list of all medication's that I take at the beginning of the appointment. The physicians assistant, Eric Song, prescribed me two medication's. The second day of taking the prescriptions I was reading the drug interactions and realized that there was a serious life-threatening interaction (my heart rate could drop and even stop) with a medication I was currently taking. I called CVS Pharmacy and they confirmed that I was correct and they told me to stop taking it immediately. There's absolutely no way that I would go back to a facility that does not take due diligence in prescribing medication's. read more

I showed up right at the end of their shift after being bitten by a black widow, and instead of rushing me out the door, they went above and beyond to make sure I was properly taken care of. Dr. Song was thorough, kind, and made me feel reassured during a stressful situation. The staff was professional and attentive, never once making me feel like an inconvenience even though it was late. They stayed to make sure everything was handled the right way, and I left feeling safe and cared for. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. The RECEPTIONIST was unbelievably RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL . From the moment I walked in, she acted like I was inconveniencing her just by being there. No greeting, no basic courtesy--just an attitude that made it clear she had no interest in helping patients. When I asked a SIMPLE question about wait times, she rolled her eyes and gave me a DISMISSIVE response. She acted like she couldn't be bothered and spoke to me in the most CONDESCENDING tone. If you're in need of urgent care, the LAST thing you NEED is to be treated POORLY by the front desk STAFF. Medical facilities should be welcoming and compassionate, but unfortunately, that's not what I experienced here. If management cares at all about patient experience, they need to hire a receptionist who actually understands the meaning of customer service. Avoid this place if you can!!! read more

Overall terrible experience with sub par care! The girl at the front desk with brown curly hair is absolutely horrid!! Rude with every interaction, as if she is bothered that people come in, and that she has to work. And she sets the tone for the care you are about to receive. The MA who called me back didn't know how to properly use a manual BP cuff. He simply inflated and immediately deflated it and said "great, 110/70". I'm sure that's the BP on all of the patients he helps with because that is definitely has not been my BP in years . He took my temperature in my ear but didn't place anything in my ear, and then said my temperature was 97 when it was just 103 at home. The PA, walked in opening the door after hearing him say that he was "over sh*t" as he was standing outside the door, and seemed like he couldn't be bothered to provide patient care when he entered. He spent no more than 60 seconds in the room initially, going through the motions of listening to my lungs and acting like he was listening to me speak. While he listened to my lungs he told me to "keep talking" which again made it seem like all he wanted was to get out of the room as fast as he could. He didn't ask about past medical history, and the MA is the one who completed a medication reconciliation. It is definitely not standard for a MA who did not write down the three medications I advised I was taking, to complete this task. And the provider he did not verify any of the information provided to the MA while he was in the room for 60 seconds. His bedside demeanor is atrocious! A few seconds later he had the door open and his body half out before he could say, "anything else?" Need imaging? Don't worry, the MA who did not know how to properly take vitals will be the person to complete imaging for you. And by the turnaround of minutes on the read, I presume it is the PA who interprets the imaging not a radiologist. Total time spent with a provider was approximately 3 to 4 minutes and I'm sure he billed 20-30 minutes of care to insurance. So a joke of care provided, and scamming insurance. I would not recommend this urgent care to anyone!! Never saw a nurse, the PA provided horrible care, the MA didn't report a single valid vital sign and no one seemed to care. Find somewhere else to go seek actual care! read more

Be prepared to advocate for yourself if you visit. We finally decided to pay to take our 5 month old in. She's had a rash around her neck for over 2 weeks now. We have diligently kept it dry, tried aquaphor, keep it powdered. We made sure there had been no changes in household products, clothing, etc. It is affecting her sleep and making her miserable. She is constantly up every couple hours now scratching at her neck. So we decided to get checked in case it was fungal, or such. We waited 1.5 hours despite checking in the day before for 11am today. She was now overtired and cranky, on top of being miserable and itchy. We thought we'd at leas receive some care finally, but we were wrong. Barely looked at the baby's rash, just said "keep doing what your doing", and left. What we're doing isn't working, hence the reason we brought her in. Moral of the story, only go if it's something obvious that needs a doctor like a cut or broken bones. And don't raise expectations that they will give you, or your child, any personalized attention. Getting people in and out as quick as possible seems to be this Urgent Care's new motto! read more

The worst urgent care, all of the receptionist are rude and the doctor is as well. They are not attentive and give out false information. I've never had high blood pressure in my life and they failed to say something about it when I went in and after I called multiple times, also told me I can not have my results emailed to me or printed out...but then when calling again months later now they tell me I can have my results emailed or printed out. Then when email was finally sent it was just a blank email w nothing. Worst experience ever! read more

PA-C Eric song at Yucaipa urgent care relayed my personal information of a complaint I made against him for treating me with such disrespect and so I made a complaint to Yucaipa urgent care. Eric Song or Urgent care relayed this complaint to my brand new primary Dr in which I have not even seen yet for my first visit with him. My Dr asked for my medical records from my old primary Dr and Dr office pinnacle medical group. I signed for those records, but I never signed anything stating that I wanted my personal information or my experience with Dr song sent over to my new Dr which was Dr Sham. Eric song and Yucaipa Urgent care had no right to disclose my visit with them and the fact I made a complaint against Yucaipa urgent care PA-C Eric Song. Either Eric song or Yucaipa urgent care contacted my primary Dr and told them about the complaint I made against Dr song and Urgent care. The only medical records I signed to release to my New Dr Office and Dr which is Dr Shams Taher was my records from pinnacle medical group. He then called me to tell me my appt today at 3:35pm has been cancelled and I'll have to reschedule or have a telehealth zoom appt to see me (mind you I've been waiting to see Dr shams Taher for months now due to them waiting for my medical records from my previous Dr at Pinnacle medical group.) A receptionist at Dr Shams Taher office left a voicemail the Day of my first appt which was today Sept 18 at 3:45pm and cancelled my appt. Then I get a missed call from Dr Shams Taher and one of the reasons he said he could not have me as a patient is because of a complaint I made against Yucaipa urgent care. He also mentioned I have too many medical issues for him to deal with. Mind you I had a couple minor hospital stays and I had Covid in late 2021 which was very serious and I was very sick and since then have made a full recovery and am currently on one medication which is gabapentin for my back. I also have anxiety and that's about it. I've waited about 3 months to get my medical records over to them from pinnacle medical group (which is the only medical records I signed to get released) So pretty much someone at Yucaipa urgent care or Dr song illegally disclosed my Walk in visit when I was mistreated by Dr song. That is private and confidential information I told Dr song at Yucaipa Urgent care that day and the complaint was made about Dr Song and Yucaipa Urgent Care. My new Dr Shams should have never had been notified of my complaint against Yucaipa urgent care. I have a voicemail from the Dr Sham's office who called me the day of my appt which I was told had to be rescheduled or Dr Shams Taher would be calling to do a tele-health app with me. They didn't give me an exact time he would be calling and was told he may be calling you so answer your phone. I missed his call amd he left a voicemail stating he does not want me as a patient due to the complaint against urgent care and prior medical issues which are all not issues I've had for at least 2-3 years now. I called Dr Shams Taher office to explain that the reasons he doesn't want to see me are not valid considering I don't have any major medical issues and am on one medication at the moment. That is what Dr Shams Taher explained the reasons why de can't have me as a patient, and the fact I made a complaint against urgent care. Bottom line my visit to Urgent care that day when PA Eric Song saw me and mistreated me, Dr Song or Yucaipa urgent care contacted my current Dr Shams Taher and disclosed personal information about my visit that day at Yucaipa urgent care and the fact I made a compaint against Eric Song and Yucaipa urgent care. Neither of them should have informed or sent any of my confidential visit that day and sent over any paperwork to Dr Shams disclosing the fact I made that complaint. So now Dr Shams Taher dropped me as a patient and one of the reasons was that I made a complaint against Yucaipa urgent care for being mistreated by Eric Song. He also said I have major medical issues he's not qualified to deal with. Mind you I'm in great health, I've had a few minor hospital stays and Covid in late 2021 which yeah I had major medical problems then but made a full recovery by 2022/2023. Since then I am in good health and have one prescription for gabapentin and that is all, along with anxiety. I'm mainly upset that my personal confidential records were sent to my primary Dr without my consent and I did not sign any paperwork allowing them to do that. This was one of the worst experiences wait for 2 and half to have hostile Dr. Gabrielle kane tell me that dealing poker u do nothing and it just sitting throwing cards in his words. I have sharp pain in my neck so me getting assaulted and beat on my back didn't warrant for anything honestly felt like I was dealing with the same people who assaulted the day before. DR r suppose to help ppl not feel threatened. OK update 2 days later they now would not send my medication in so i get threatened and won't send in the medication they said they were prescribing. I visited Yucaipa Urgent Care for a severe throat infection-possible strep throat. The office is modern and very clean. The staff? Eh. Kinda cold, but whatever. I'm not there to make friends. The wait wasn't bad at all. Arrived as a walk-in upon opening (9:AM) and was called back into an exam room at 9:35. I explained to the assistant, Russell, who was awesome!!! that I could barely eat/speak/breathe-my throat was so swollen. He took a strep test and left. The Physician Assistant, Eric Song (-if you've read the prior reviews, you know....) came in and reeked of arrogance. He quickly said the rapid strep test came back negative. He took a BRIEF look into my throat, and said, "It's not strep, it's probably your tonsils-could be tonsil stones." Hmmmmm. Yeaaaaaahhhh-about that.....So I replied, "Really?? That's interesting, because I had my tonsils removed when I was 4." He had no comment. He didn't feel my VERY swollen glands, never listened to my heart/lungs with the Stethoscope that he DIDN'T have, He didn't bother looking in my throat a second time, to confirm for himself that I, in fact, DO NOT have tonsils. Nope. He literally mumbled something about taking Ibuprofen as he walked out. The very next morning, I went to Redlands Urgent Care, and guessssss what!? I had strep throat. A THOROUGH exam was done, and I was prescribed two antibiotics and given a steroid shot. By the end of the day, I was feeling SO much better. Needless to say, you have to be your own advocate and don't settle for B.S. Yucaipa Urgent Care would have gotten 4, possibly 5 stars, because the staff were helpful, and the wait time, location and medical assistant were great-but my interaction with P.A Eric Song just made for a really crappy experience. I suggest going ten minutes out of your way to the Redlands Urgent Care if you want professional care. read more

It's great to have an Urgent Care in our backyard with this level of service. My family and I have come here many times over the years for a wide variety of reasons. Recently I had a wrist injury, went in and fortunately it was a slower time of the day and was able to get right in. Staff was super nice and knowledgeable. This urgent care is horrible. They almost killed my 77 year old mom. She went in with shortness of breath and they did a chest X-Ray and a breathing treatment and told her that she had an acute upper respiratory infection and sent her home with an antibiotic. A few days later she still wasn't better. She was unresponsive and I had to call 911. Come to find out, she had a pulmonary emboli (many blood clots in her lungs) and ended up having a stroke. This urgent care should send anyone with shortness of breath straight to the ER if they do not have the equipment or means to properly diagnose patients. I sent an email to the owner Dr. Brian J. Bearie along with the office manager and they never even cared to respond. Therefore, like I told them, I will be filing a complaint with the medical board of California and look into filing negligence charges. They made a careless and grave mistake with a patient. THEY DID HARM and broke the hippocratic oath. This place needs to be shut down if this is how they choose to practice medicine. read more
