The salon is clean, there is a nice selection of polish colors and employees are friendly. My complaint is that the massage was minimal at best. Not even a few minutes. And no hot towel or stone. I don't think she even oiled my cuticles. I have paid a bit more at the larger places ($29 here, $34 there) but the experience was definitely worth a few bucks more. In a pinch I would come back, but since I was the only customer and felt like I got shorted on time, it will be a last resort.

I've never had such a bad experience. We got there right at 4pm for our appointment. The nail shop was completely empty. When we walked in there were two ladies and neither said hello, first thing the lady said was pick a color. My sister sat down for a manicure and I was asked to go to the chair for a pedicure. Before that the lady asked me if I wanted to do liquid gel or something to add length to my sisters nails. She kept telling me her nails were "too short" and "too thin". The purpose of the visit was to get my sister comfortable with even going to the nail shop because she just recently stopped bitting her nails/cuticles. It's been a journey. So I was adamant about starting simple with a gel manicure and cuticle clean up. As I'm sitting in the chair soaking my feet, I'm listening and watching her do my sisters nails. She asked her twice (after I said no) if my sister wanted longer nails. She kept telling my 15 year old little sister that her nails were too thin and short. She had a passive aggressive attitude and was giggling while talking down on her.. my last straw was when she looked at her laughing and said "you need eyebrows done". By this point it had been 15 minutes of us being there and her manicure was done. The nail tech had sent my sister to wash her hands.. that's how I knew she was done. I got up and told her I would pay for the manicure and we were leaving with no additional service. I noticed after that she charged me $47 and no apology. My sister's fingers were bleeding and the polish looked like I did it herself. Please don't go here with a young girl or if you're a women that has a hard time speaking up for yourself. I wish I got the women's name but she seemed to be in charge that day.

First and foremost, I don't like the energy in there. There's a wonderful lady that did my pedicure who was great, but the one girl, Anne (Annie, not sure)? Always has an attitude. It's not an obvious one, but an undertone that any smart female can pick up on. I'm sorry, why are you having an attitude with me when I'm a customer and you're working there? She always looks annoyed, rolls her eyes, and says "pick your color." That's all fine, but that's the other problem. I asked for a simple color, butter yellow that they had as an option, and they didn't even carry it. Instead, I paid an absurd amount of money for a color I didn't even like, an unfriendly atmosphere and no innovation. I'd like to pay extra and ask for some nail art or at least some French/swirls with cool touches and they didn't even have yellow?!? Don't worry, I won't be coming back. Ann did a beautiful French manicure on my daughter. She is so happy; it's by far the best pedicure she's ever had. I had an amazing deluxe pedicure and I chose a bright summer shade. Sadly, I went to a different salon but when you get spoiled by nails that turn out even better than imagined - every time - it just wasn't the same. Unfortunately, I did dip nails and had a few issues. 1. The technician doing my nails did not take the color down the full nail bed. My nails looked one week grown out upon leaving, for reference. I'm only 6 days into my nails and they already look two weeks grown out and in need of getting them done again. 2. The dip product they used has chipped on three separate nails within 6 days. I've never had that happen with dip before and usually choose dip over gel for that reason. 3. They did not attempt to do any clean up to my cuticles or apply lotion or cuticle oil after they were done. It's not an expectation, but for the price of nails these days it's a small effort that shows extra care. Unfortunately I would not return but I hope they take this feedback into consideration for future visitors.
