Even though they accepted it,they said they never got it and said it would be 15 minutes well it was 20 and then when I pointed it out I was told I was being rude by the old hag at the counter. Even after I told her I wasn't being rude just stating facts. Apparently facts are not allowed to be stated. There were 4 workers basically doing nothing. A table of 2 was eating. There was rush or apology for it being not being started. They acted like it was inconvenient order. I don't advise anyone door dashing from there if you want people to actually care about your food. Food: My table got an unagi maki roll, vegetable tempura, and crab Rangoon. The crab Rangoon was a special but the wrapper was too thick and doughy. The filling was also lacking in flavor, as was the dipping sauce it came with. The vegetable tempura was similarly over battered, doughy rather than crisp, and came with a bland sauce. The unagi roll at least had a bit of flavor but it wasn't great. Overall nothing here was gross it was just disappointing. Service: The food came out lightning fast (because none of it was prepared fresh). The guy working was courteous but would disappear for a few minutes at a time. There were no other staff members around so it was difficult to get drink refills. This restaurant is back to offering in person dining and they are definitely practicing social distancing in the arrangement of their tables. The sushi is good, but not knock your socks off great. They're currently serving all food on Styrofoam plates which is a little offputting for me. I also don't particularly like to drink wine out of a plastic cup. The miso soup was good, although also in Styrofoam with a teeny, tiny, little plastic spoon. I ended up drinking it, because I would've been there for a week if I actually tried to use the spoon. LOL We like spicy food, so all of the roles we ordered had the spicy icon, although we had to add Sriracha to produce any kind of actual heat. I just tried this place for the first time this evening, and I was happily surprised! My boyfriend and I ordered Togo. Here's what we ordered... - Sashimi deluxe (20 pieces) + a small salad, a a little box of rice) - Kado roll (super fresh and tasty) - We picked our order up about 20-25min after ordering. When we got there, the food was already bagged up and ready to go. (Initially I was a bit worried at how long it had been sitting there, because no one wants warm raw fish) but it was surprisingly fresh and cold when we got home. They also put in a cup of miso soup which was pretty tasty. (I've had really really salt miso soup in the past, and this one was surprisingly mild. In a good way!) The prices are decent, and they have a good selection on their menu! I can't really speak for customer service and the establishment itself because we ordered it on the phone to go, but I would totally try it out again, and then see if my review changes. But overall, they were prompt with the orders being completed, the fish was fresh, and the prices are decently reasonable! The food is consistently delicious, whether you're getting habachi or sushi - the fish is always fresh, sushi is made right in front of you, everything is amazing here. Out of the few times I've been in the Manchester Commons Plaza (aka the plaza where the DMV is) I never noticed Yuki. I tend to venture further down in MA for my sushi fix but with COVID19 and wanting to satisfy my sushi craving here and now, I discovered Yuki. I also generally lower my expectations for Manchester/NH restaurants. Yuki is good when you take into consideration that this is Manchester and this is probably as good as it's gonna get. The prices of their sushi rolls are pretty standard and reasonable. I do appreciate the fact that they don't oversauce their rolls. I also like the ratio of rice to fish. The quality of the fish is pretty average so no complaints there. After all, this is not upscale Japanese but they do well with what they have. Basically go in with an open mind and don't expect anything special. Their "special rolls" like the house/Yuki roll, Phoenix roll, Summer roll, and Sunset roll are okay. The shrimp tempura inside the rolls were pretty mediocre. While it wasn't overbattered, the shrimp wasn't very sweet and juicy and as a whole it just tasted like it had been sitting out for a bit. For your simple rolls (maki mono) like spicy tuna, spicy salmon and spicy crabmeat (kind of like the spicy version of the California roll) - I like Yuki. I would definitely order from them again and stick to the basics. read more

Just left and I'm disappointed the sushi rolls were $15 a piece and they were TINY, I don't think I've ever seen such small sushi rolls before and not only that they were nasty. We also ordered the teriyaki noodles for my daughter and she wouldn't eat them so after trying them we found out they were basically noodles soaked in nasty sugar water so no wonder she literally spit them out. Tried to tell them I want my roll taken off the bill because it was so horrible and they said no. My whole family left still hungry. I'll never be coming back here what a waste of $50 read more

Very outdated and laidback environment. We went in during a slow hour. The steak habachi is ok, but the fried rice stood out for me.

Good service, decent noodles and apps, but the sushi was average. We were looking for a new spot for sushi and hoped this would be it. The apps were good, we got the gyoza, which were really well prepared and fresh. We got chicken yakitori which were pretty good, the chicken was a little tough. I ordered some age tofu that were tasty and we also tried the tuna tar tar app. We didn't care too much got the tuna, it was dry and didn't have a ton of flavor. It was also buried in dry crunchy topping that they put on and in sushi. For dinners, we ordered yaki soba and yaki udon. Those were really flavorful and good. I was surprised that they tasted distinct from each other as I expected the same flavor. That was a nice surprise. For dinner I ordered 4 rolls and a sashimi dinner. The sashimi was ok. The Barbara roll, tuna w lastlyrapped in cucumber, was covered in a brown sauce. I didn't really like it together. There eel & cucumber roll was covered in a sweet sauce and that was ok. The Hana maki included shrimp tempura with pickled veg. It's description said inside out and colorful, but it was all rolled up with seaweed and the shrimp wasn't freshly fried. It's not how I expected a roll with shrimp tempura. Lastly, I ordered the spicy white tuna roll and I didn't taste the spice, nor the tuna. The rice wasn't super fresh either. read more

I have been here multiple times and will continue to be a loyal customer. Yes, it's not flashy or huge.. but that's the Best part... it's a hidden Gem!! To start off, I absolutely loved this place. I love the food, the pricing and it really reminded me of the quality restaurants I experienced back in New York. I rave about this place to my friends and always suggest them going here over all the other sushi/Japanese places in New Hampshire. I go in to pick it up and the waitress with black hair in a pony tail, says hi and I say I'm here for pick up. The transaction is finished and I am picking up the bags, and not even turning around yet, she walks away and says to the sushi chefs in mandarin, "the truth is those two order are for her. Just her" and chuckles. First off, why are you assuming? Secondly so what if it was? Why is that a matter you should be concerning yourself with and if I am a frequent paying customer, why does it matter how many orders I eat? Why are you FAT SHAMING customers? Thirdly how dare you say this thinking I won't understand it?? I'm Chinese and I understand mandarin. I haven't even stepped out the door yet!! If you want to talk behind people, AT LEAST wait until they leave!! What amazes me is that she spoke it with such confidence, and she was caught today cause I understood. I feel bad for customers she talks about who don't understand mandarin. No customer should be subjected to such judgement at ANY ESTABLISHMENT. That is NOT how customer service should be and it paints other Chinese establishments in a negative light. That's why there's the stereotype that when employees are talking in Chinese, they're saying something bad. Unfortunately, this one experience, it was true. Basically, if you dare to order more than one dish, the waitress here will laugh behind your back about it. 5 stars for food but this insulting experience knocks it down to a 2. I wanted to give 1 star but I know one bad apple shouldn't spoil the rest of the bunch. The food has been awesome and my customer service experiences prior to today have all been amazing. This is my go-to sushi spot now that I'm in Manchester, it's the best food for the price. I eat sushi several times a week and theirs is good, light rice and fresh fish. It's more of a lunch spot for me, rather than a date night on the town. Although the sushi places I go in manch for date nights are worse and more expensive. If you are looking for very good sushi in a quaint (not trendy) spot this is your place.
