Moving my daughter into her new place in Fort Collins and we started to get hungry, so decided to try this place. It was the best decision! It was lunch time on a Saturday in February, but a beautiful day outside that we decided to have it on the front patio. The server brought us menus and waters. She was good and took care of us for lunch. I wanted a gyro, but there was a jerk chicken special. She then told me that they were doing the gyro with the jerk chicken instead. This is going to be ordered every time I go here from now on! The jerk spice has a serious kick, but so worth it. We also got Falafel to start the meal and the two pieces on top of a salad that was refreshing. My daughter got the Chicken Shawarma and ate the whole thing. I had avoided returning here after it was branded "Social" and remodeled. I believed that the food would change along with the decor which really didn't appeal to me. I recently tried a relatively late lunch here and learned I was very wrong. I kept to basics with lentil soup and falafel. I enjoyed them both. The loss of one star was only due to a menu that seemed confusing to navigate. The prices ran from good to fair. I'll be back soon. read more

The cutest place ever. I don't know how it isn't busier. They have these beautiful plants and lights hanging from the ceiling everywhere, with super cool decor and paintings. The food is phenomenal. $6 falafel sandwiches on Mondays is pretty hard to beat. I get them spicy and the sauce it comes with is awesome- plus there is no upcharge. The tahini is amazing, and I cannot stress enough how much I recommend the garlic spread appetizer!!!! Actually blew my mind and my taste buds. As a side note: Go to their site to reveal the real menu and prices- don't mess up and pay twice inflated style prices thru the Yelp app, unless you want delivery. Absolutely delicious! The vibe is a little sparse, but all of the West Elizabeth restaurants have that fast, casual look. The food though? AMAZING! At our table we had a vegetarian, a very fussy eater, and a food allergy (along with 3 who will eat just about everything!). Yum Yum's was more than able to meet the ingredient needs; and every dish, from Gyros, to loaded fries and a falalfel sandwich with added feta (yum!) were wonderful. Been meaning to try this place for a while and although I wasn't terribly impressed, I wasn't disappointed either. Pretty good flavors in the meats (ordered the combo plate, ~$24), but again, nothing mild blowing. Rice was really buttery-- not something I was expecting, but it was actually pretty good. Some of the best this cuisine has to offer. I live in Chicago currently but traveled for business for 25 years. Yum Yum stands up to the best Mediterranean food I have had anywhere. I've tried many many of the dishes on their menu and they're all very very good. I think the baba ganoush could be a little smokier for my taste but love everything else I've tried. Absolutely the worst experience. I just went there with my boyfriend to pick up some sandwiches. When we entered, there was a guy talking to a girl in a table. Nobody greeted us and he just stared us. I did not even know he was the employee there since he completely ignored us. After he finished talking to her (about 5 mins) then he asked us what we wanted and I realized that he is the staff there. He put in our order on the electronic machine touching the screen and the he started to make out food without washing his hands. He touched our flat bread and everything while we watched him cooking. I think it is crazy that he doesn't even care about washing his hands after touching the screen especially during this crazy pandemic. I would never go back to this place. read more

I went with my husband on Valentine's for lunch. His first time ever, my first time in six years. What a disappointment. First, we were greeted by a dark, empty counter. Once someone came from the kitchen to take our order we were SHOCKED that a simple Gyro was about $17. We each ordered fries and an a can of carbonated water. When the bill was almost $60 I looked at the receipt. Instead of charging us $1 for a side of fries, like the menu said, she charged us each $5 for a basket of fries. And the water? $7 each!! We definitely had gotten swindled. We did not want to cause a scene and ruin our Valentine's date, so we took our seat and waited for our food. The woman (owner? manager?) knew she was about to serve us a really terrible sandwich so she came out and told us she was "testing" new pita bread since pita can't be baked in Colorado (really? Tell that to Garbanzo's!), and she really wanted our feedback on it. I don't think she actually meant that she was allowing us to pay $70 for a lunch where we would be her Guinea pigs, but she knew she was about to serve us an awful sandwich. Gyros are really hard to screw up, but you can see from the picture that the pita was a crumbly mess. I could not be eaten with our hands at all. I had to hunt her down again from the kitchen so we could get plastic forks to eat our sandwiches with. What has happened to this restaurant? It used to be reasonably priced with amazing food. This was such a joke I'm still mad about it three weeks later. read more

This is by far the best and most authentic Mediterranean food in all of Fort Collins. I'm not hating on the other Mediterranean places (garbanzos, love you guys) but Yum Yum's is by far the best. If you go in and actually talk to them you will find out that each of the chefs working have an extreme care for making the most authentic food. Apparently, the owners have been making the food here and are beginning to hand down their skills. It doesn't matter who makes the food from this restaurant, you will not be disappointed. Sometimes when I'm trying to decide what to eat if I'm getting food out I try not to think of Yum Yum's because once I do I cannot go anywhere else (as is the case today). Not affiliated with this place, just giving you my honest heartfelt review. If you're looking for the best you now know where to go. And while you may think the food is on the moderately expensive side it is actually not compared to the cost of going out and getting the ingredients to make these meals yourself. Yum Yum's serves a very solid gyro. Meat is flavorful and moist, white sauce is thick and tangy just like how it should be. There's not many middle eastern restaurants that serves a solid gyro in Fort Collins in general but this spot is doing it! I'm just curious why the store is called yum yums because it's such an ambiguous name for a middle eastern restaurant that serves really good food. The main complaints I have are that the staff is super uptight and rude most of the times I have ordered stuff. And telling me to move my parked car from their parking lot to "make room for the bands" even though it's OPEN MIC night and nobody is there yet. It was quiet and only a few folks mingled in and out for their take-out orders as that seemed the focus with most customers. Friendly wait service who was personable and helpful when asked about the Mediterranean menu or local information I ordered a glass of Chardonnay and homemade eggplant hummus with pita bread. The hummus was good but for me I asked more pita bread as one piece of this flat was not sufficient. Also note-There was two of us eating this yummy hummus as my friend arrived in time for food. It was a pleasant experience and seemed to be a local spot. Prices are very reasonable for the area and quality of food or spirits.... ohh big plus they have smoothies too. No outside seating.
