We've been a couple times and while they lack consistency with their menu choices, the food has been good but tonight we tried to order online 40 min before close and they turned it off. I called and they said they still had plenty so I went in. They weren't thrilled about me coming in and weren't very friendly. Awesome! I live near downtown Loveland and have been meaning to stop by for some time. I got a bowl with gyro meat and garlic sauce. Pricing was fair and portion size was solid. Flavors were off the charts! I loved it. It's a small little spot with several seats outside so not the best for a group or if you want to relax but the food is spot on. First thing I noticed was the place is a bit "bland" and very small in terms of decor and atmosphere. But I appreciate the music selection. That's really the only downside though because the food is kick ass. I got the gyro wrap with traditional toppings and fries . My husband got the beef fry bowl with traditional toppings, added grilled veggies and opted for donor sauce which was delicious!!! We got to watch the food being made in front of us and he was very quick. I also appreciate he switched gloves between every order. It was nice to see everything come out of the freezer or a refrigerated container vs sitting under a warming lamp. He gave us more than enough food too, I was impressed with the portion size. The rice was mid.... next time I'll try it with the salad. A steamed cauliflower rice would probably be pretty darn good too. We decided to check out Meat Revolution because we've been meaning to and we were near downtown last week. My spouse is always more picky about Middle Eastern leaning food than I am but he loved it, as did I. Ordering is fun. You tell them what meat you want (or if you want falafel), if you want it a wrap, bowl or combo, what veggies/toppings, what sauces, and you're off. I got a chicken shawarma with cabbage (which I think was lightly pickled) and the garlic sauce. I got it as a meal so we could share falafel; I'd get the mint dill next time because it was great on the falafel. My spouse got a beef shawarma and I honestly wasn't paying super close attention to what toppings he got. We ate in our car across the street and it was only through a sheer force of will that I got pictures before we devoured it all. Hope to make it back soon 'cause we really enjoyed it. read more

If "Meat" is in the name of the restaurant, pay more attention to making it the best. Dried up small pieces that look like the bottom of the barrel do not invite repeat customers. We've ordered delivery 3 times total. The first time was great. Just what we hoped for. The meat was plentiful, moist, and delicious. The fries and salad were good too. Unfortunately the last two times were disappointing. On those last two orders, the meat was in small dry pieces that seemed like someone scraped the bottom of the warming tray. If you get to that point, make more! They also left out sauces I had specifically requested for my order. The sides were better than the main dish. It's not like we ordered late, either. Our last one was placed at 5:30 on a weeknight. On the fence as to whether we give this place another try, but we're probably done. One mediocre order is a fluke. This wasn't quite the kebab / shawarma places all over Europe like I was imagining from the pictures. When we visited for dinner, there wasn't any meat rotating on the spit. Nevertheless, it's an interesting take on some tasty quick food, with good toppings and great sauces that make the dish. The place is small, only room for four small tables inside. But easy take out and a good option for a nearby brewery. Serving size is good and service is great. But prices are a dollar or two higher than I'd expect. read more

We arrived at opening. Floors were filthy so clearly not cleaned from the day before. No greeting and seemed to be bothersome for the employee that we were there. This is my first and definitely not my last time to Meat Revolution. My new favorite spot for a quick, delicious and satisfying meal in Loveland. Gluten free friendly too (not the fries or wraps). I had the chicken shawarma plate with falafel and loved every bite. I'm a no-styrofoam tree hugger, and had to look past the squeaky container. Next time I'll bring my own hippie friendly container. Our first time at this establishment. We were excited to try it as we like to support local businesses. We won't be going back. The bowl with rice and chicken along with the veggies was 90% rice, few pieces of warmed up chicken, a few veggies and almost zero tzatziki sauce, couldn't even taste the sauce because there was not much to taste. My boyfriend and I came in for our first time with two friends who were in town visiting. I live in Loveland and I've always wanted to try this place after driving by multiple times. We showed up around 11:30am and unfortunately, the customer service was not the most welcoming. We were first in line and stood there for a few minutes without being acknowledged. So I spoke up to greet them! They said hello and continued working on what looked like to be mobile orders. No "we'll be right with you", "order when you're ready".... almost if we were bothering them. Very strange. After another minute or two, someone finally looked up and asked us for our order. Just an overall very odd first impression and based on other reviews, it sounds like some other customers have had a similar experience. Aside from that, our food was excellent! I ordered a bowl with rice, veggies, gyro, and the garlic sauce. It tasted fresh, the portion size was generous, and the prices were very fair. The outside seating was a nice touch! I've been wanting to try this place for a while now but just haven't had the time to stop in. After convincing myself I need to try something new I made it in and I was not disappointed. My children are picky eaters so I ordered one bowl for myself and had them try it. They immediately told me that the food was delicious and they wanted their own bowl. We went right back in and order two more bowls. The service and ambiance was great. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. My kids are requesting we return at least once a month lol. read more

Ordered beef shawarma wrap and it was ok but the meat was pretty dry. I'd assumed if it came off a spit that would be unlikely. The white sauce (garlic mayo) desperately needs to be replaced with a Tzatziki sauce or some variation thereof but you cannot eat this thing without sauce as it's too dry. I had the loaded chicken wrap with a side of French fries and was very impressed. The chicken was seasoned perfectly, the veggies and topping were super fresh and crisp, the fries hot and delicious. I was particularly happy that the wrap itself wasn't some huge, thick doughy tortilla and allowed me really enjoy the filling which was plentiful and unique. I have never walked out of a restaurant wanting it to fail more than the Meat Revolution. It is offensively bad, on every level. The ENTIRE premise of their restaurant is meat on a spit. A REVOLUTION. But all that meat is pre-cut, sitting in a warming drawer getting dry and hard. The first time I went, I didn't realize that's what was happening till it was too late. The food was awful. The second time I asked for meat cut directly off the spit, the owner huffed and puffed about it, saying that the city wouldn't allow them to serve meat cut off a spit unless it was cooked for an extra 15 SECONDS. So cook it for an extra fifteen seconds... My friend asked for the same thing, and the owner got argumentative. It wouldn't have mattered. The food was still terrible. read more

I mistakenly thought this was an alternative meat vegan place but, when you assume... and omg it's AMAZING! Real meat and real good food!!

This was the choice of food for the bar on the next block as they did not have a kitchen so we gave it a try. We used the QR code at the bar and began the order. When looking at the choices for the wrap and meat plate we ordered, there were 4 choices of sauce and then you could choose 'sauce on the side'. Having never ordered from this place before, we had no idea what sauce may come standard with either meal so we both chose 'sauce on the side' and 'no red onion'. The meals came (mine WITH red onion everywhere even though it was clearly marked on my receipt stapled to my carry-out) and both were so dry they were not edible. My Mix Meat Plate (for $15.00!!!) was like little hard, dry rocks of chicken and beef on even drier rice. The salad was completely dry and loaded with red onion. My husband walked back to their store to show them the receipt and ask for some sauce and they would not give it to him! The younger male employee was downright arguing with my husband and said there "were 16 sauces to choose from and (we) never specified"....Not true as only 4 sauces were listed on the website? And they had our email and phone from the order so seems likely they could say 'did you want any sauces for your meals?' instead of being rude and threatening. My husband left without sauce and proceeded to get even madder as we sat there and I picked out red onion. So he walked back WITH my meal to show them the receipt and the red onion and it was an even bigger display of disrespectful employees not caring ONE bit about customer service! We will NEVER take our business there again and will tell everyone we know they could not have cared less and to not support this crap show. It would have been a simple fix to say "sorry, we did not see a sauce specified - what would you like?" Instead, $36.00 later, we threw the meals away.
