A tiny bit of meat sitting on a giant pile of cold fries, old rice and wilted cabbage.

I ordered the beef shawarma plate and received a giant pile of cold fries, old rice and wilted cabbage. The thin layer of dry beef on top was absolutely offensive. There was only meat for the first 1/4 of the meal and then it was all old fries, rice and cabbage. Paying over $17 for that plate is egregious. Don't waste your money here.

    Falafel and donor sauce

First thing I noticed was the place is a bit "bland" and very small in terms of decor and atmosphere. But I appreciate the music selection. That's really the only downside though because the food is kick ass. I got the gyro wrap with traditional toppings and fries . My husband got the beef fry bowl with traditional toppings, added grilled veggies and opted for donor sauce which was delicious!!! We got to watch the food being made in front of us and he was very quick. I also appreciate he switched gloves between every order. It was nice to see everything come out of the freezer or a refrigerated container vs sitting under a warming lamp. He gave us more than enough food too, I was impressed with the portion size. Everything was flavorful, nothing was dry or soggy. We also shared an order of falafel and I was shocked it wasn't dry either. We will certainly come back.

Was in the area and wanted something different to try and this did the trick. I like the play on words for the name. That's clever. I got the beef bowl. The beef & sauce was really good. The rice was mid.... next time I'll try it with the salad. A steamed cauliflower rice would probably be pretty darn good too. Over all a really cool local restaurant that serves giant portions of good food at a fair price. I will be back.

We decided to check out Meat Revolution because we've been meaning to and we were near downtown last week. My spouse is always more picky about Middle Eastern leaning food than I am but he loved it, as did I. Ordering is fun. You tell them what meat you want (or if you want falafel), if you want it a wrap, bowl or combo, what veggies/toppings, what sauces, and you're off. I got a chicken shawarma with cabbage (which I think was lightly pickled) and the garlic sauce. I got it as a meal so we could share falafel; I'd get the mint dill next time because it was great on the falafel. My spouse got a beef shawarma and I honestly wasn't paying super close attention to what toppings he got. We ate in our car across the street and it was only through a sheer force of will that I got pictures before we devoured it all. Hope to make it back soon 'cause we really enjoyed it.

    Gyro with forgotten sauce

We arrived at opening. Floors were filthy so clearly not cleaned from the day before. No greeting and seemed to be bothersome for the employee that we were there. We took our Togo order and got home to see the sauce on the side had been forgotten. Gyro meat was good. Fries were good. Will never go back and will ensure my circle of people know to avoid.

First time trying here and I'm absolutely in love! The portion size is awesome and the food tastes even better! Got the falafel plate with rice and fries as sides and it superseded all of my expectations! Will def be coming back. 10/10

The food really had no flavor. It wasn't seasoned well. Won't return. The falafel was overcooked.

The falafel is always super dry, I keep trying it hoping it'll get better or I had a bad batch but it's consistently that way :(

Well, I finally found it - Baba Joon Kebabs! I actually drove pretty far from my side of town just to get this food, so I was really excited to taste it. And let me tell you - it did not disappoint. The rice was beautiful, the sauce was perfect, the naan (the bread) was very tasty - everything was just spot on. I didn't have time to dine in, so I ordered takeout. I gave some to my daughter to try, and she fell in love with Persian food on the spot. Then I gave it to my high school daughter, and she loved it too. This was their first time trying Iranian food, and they're already hooked. I didn't get to try the lamb shank this time, but next time I'm going straight for it. And honestly, I need to go back, sit down, and really enjoy eating at the restaurant the way it's meant to be experienced. I highly recommend people give Baba Joon Kebab a try. This is one of those cultural foods you need to have in Denver or in Colorado. Because let's be real - Colorado is a fast food state. It doesn't have much cultural food like this. This is one of the cultural foods you'll actually love. And shout out to the Iranian family running it - they did a great job. Very, very good food. If you do the lamb shank right - and from what I tasted, I bet you do - you have my blessing to go. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

We chose the beef schwarma plate and the Sultan Combo to share. The former included rice, salad, and tzatziki sauce; the latter included gyro meat, chicken, falafel, rice, salad, baba ghanoush, hummus, and stuffed grape leaves. Foolishly, we had also ordered tabbouleh salad and creamed fava beans as appetizers. Both were huge in size. Way too much food for three of us, but we reveled in the scrumptious variety before us. Our beverages were mango lassi and mint lemonade. My wife swooned over the mint lemonade, so refreshing. Our dinner was made complete with an order of walnut baklava that was not overly covered in honey and was just delicious. Our server was quite helpful and friendly and we found the place to be comfortable with a welcoming nature. There are many more items to try on their menu, so we plan to be returning soon.
