Noodle bowl with grilled steak skewers and Japanese Curry

Fun little spot at the Mueller HEB! It's fun to watch them prep the food. Easy kiosk ordering system.

Not your average fried rice but most definitely tasty! I had the fried rice bowl with no veggies and chicken skewers..the sauce on the chicken was delicious. Very fresh, came out quickly and the ordering process is so simple.

I do my grocery shopping at Meuller HEB and I love I can pick up dinner on my way out. This has been one of my favorite meals from the foodhall line up. Fried rice with fried chicken skewers. Came with some sauces to drizzle on top. Lots of good flavors without being too salty.

    Curry with chicken katsu

This is legit Japanese food, not one of those fusion places that serve sushi and orange chicken at the same time. I ordered curry with chicken Katsu, absolutely delicious and authentic. I can't wait to try their Yakisoba next time! Ordering was contactless and all on the tablet at the counter, which was thoughtful and convenient during this time. You get a text when your order is ready, I waited about 10 minutes while shopping at HEB.

Good Japanese curry, but nothing special. The gyoza are great and the sauce with it had a nice spice to it.

For outdoor seating you have to order everything at the bar and they will bring the food to your table. So there is no table service other than that. It was still great though we got everything we need and the food came out in good timing. The drinks were really fun and I really liked the cold foam on the beer! Definitely must try! The appetizers were not that good I would skip. The miso ramen though, was AMAZING!! The broth is so rich and creamy. The noodles were also really good at picking up the broth. Definitely impressed with the ramen here. Overall, this is one of my favorite ramen spots in Austin and would love to come back soon!

Overall: 3.8/5 [takeout]…read more We ordered late night delivery from Ramen Tatsu-Ya and it arrived in under an hour. The food was nicely packaged with no spillage, and I appreciated that the ramen came with heating instructions. The one thing I noticed is that the takeout portions lean a bit heavier on rice than on protein and toppings. Negi Rice Bowl ($7.50): Scallion, fried onion, rendered pork, and sesame seeds. We did not really taste the pork but the overall flavor of the rice bowl was really good. I think it would be even better paired with an additional protein. Chashu Rice Bowl ($10.50): This felt like it was lacking umami and the chashu was not juicy or fatty. Instead, the pork belly was a bit overcooked and dry. It was much better in person so don't order it for takeout. Texas Tonk Ramen ($20.75): Pork bone broth, BBQ brisket, smoked and pickled jalapeño, fermented takana mustard greens, thunder oil, and ajitama. This sounded like such a strange combo, and we were on the fence about ordering it but decided to just go for it. My husband did not like it but I actually did. The flavors worked better than expected and everything came together surprisingly well. The jalapeño was the most interesting element, tender with some structure, spicy, and a bit acidic all at once. I would not order it again but it is definitely worth trying at least once.

I came here also because I had a deal from the AACHI fundraiser they are doing this month. Ordered the Spicy Salmon toast and the Egg, Bacon, and Sausage toast. Both were amazing and had tons of flavor. The bread is soft and fluffy. I also got a plate with Chicken Kara-age. Not too bad, I personally would stick to the Katsu. The Chicken Kara-age was not as crispy as I would like it. Also got royal milk tea, which was lightly sweetened. This place does get packed, so if you like to try this place, avoid the right before noon crowd or go early morning or later in the afternoon. The restaurant itself is small, but they do have some outdoor tables as well. The hard part about sitting outside is if you order drinks, I don't know if you can hear your name being yelled out while you are outside, so I would suggest having someone inside to grab your drink if you order any or check inside after a while to see if your drinks are ready.

Apr 8, 2026 review:…read more I've been at Nori two times in person and recently tried their to-go order. We got one Austin roll ($22), volcano roll ($15), creamy spicy tan tan ramen ($20), teriyaki sesame tofu yakisoba ($20). I have had their sushi and yakisoba but tried their ramen for first time. I was impressed with their packaging. As you can see in picture, veggies and noodles box was on top and soup at bottom. The only thing I didn't like how noodles became very sticky because of how tight they were packed. So I got it as cold (because I live 30 mins away) and sticky. Ramen came with all the veggies like grilled Chinese broccoli, tofu, sweet corn, marinated shiitake mushrooms, red onions and negi. Yakisoba noodles had the Stir-fried noodles tossed with cabbage, scallion, carrot, marinated shiitake mushrooms, and fragrant negi in a savory house sauce. It was good if you like this type of noodles. Austin roll had Smoked tempeh, tempura tofu, jalapeño, pickles. And on the to Avocado, roasted garlic oil, tempura flakes, smoked paprika, teriyaki. Volcano roll was a deep fried roll which had spinach, avocado, sweet potato. On top: spicy mayo, sweet soy sauce, chili sauce, Caviart and tempura onion. I would say this is the best vegetarian sushi place I've found in Austin. So if you're in search, this wouldn't disappoint you.

Both of the sandos were perfect. The wagyu beef sando had a little bit more flavor but it was slight and both are worth trying. Every roll was enjoyable and I felt like each had a little twist that really made the flavors explosive, like a shaved onion or a crispy puff on the side of the roll. The service was stellar and they were easy to book on OpenTable I also tried the green tea mocktail and found it to be light and refreshing and I was happy that it wasn't super sweet My two favorite items were: 1. The Edamame - which were charred in a way that I feel like I've never experienced it before and had such great flavor. 2. The scallop roll had a thinly sliced shaved truffle on top that made the roll simple yet out of this world. Shout out to the manager who came by just to check in. I always think that is such a sweet gesture.

I've been here recently and really enjoyed the Hamachi and the spicy tuna, however, this time around they both felt a little too fishy. They're to roll on the other hand was absolutely mind blowing and did not disappoint. Everybody's absolutely favorite role though was the truffle scallop. It was creamy. It was velvety. It was clean and such a burst of flavor without overwhelming your taste buds too much. Overall, a very good time great service and as always, great food
