We have always been glad this restaurant is close to us. We came back to dine in. We ordered soups, gyoza as our appetizer, sesame chicken and beef with orange flavor. The soup was good and hot. The fried gyoza came out the same time as our entree. The sesame chicken was not even warm inside. The broccoli in both of our plates was over blanched and as cold as like it came out of refrigerator. The beef was mildly warm inside. Since we dined in, it is expected our food was steaming hot. They comp the chicken because we complained at the end. Service was meh. They were nice but a big difference from how they used to be. I would just order from a Chinese place somewhere and go to Kotobuki for sushi. Very disappointed this place have changed so much. read more

Tonight our table shared the honey chicken, house lo mein, shrimp and garlic sauce, and sweet and sour chicken. Nothing disappointed. The chicken was cooked to perfection. The shrimp was a perfect amount of spicy. The house lo mein was bursting in flavors with the shrimp and chicken and vegetables. The service is always great here, and the gentleman always walks around checking the table and greeting the regulars. If you want a local fave, come here! read more

Yummy yes...overwhelming service yes! So I'm big on customer service but when it is intrusive that can also ruin and experience. My husband and I had two servers the night we visited (or did we Im not sure bc they bickered each time one was at the table at the same time as the other). Frankly one of them was always at our table. I did not take more than one bite or sip my drink when one was not right beside me asking questions. It got to the point where I just could not wait to be done with my meal. Okay now that I've gotten that out of the way. The food was wonderful. Presentation of my sushi was outstanding as were several others I saw going to other tables. Just beautiful work! I also really enjoyed their egg drop soup which is hit or miss at other locations...not here...absolutely a hit! So for me this is going to be a pick up my food and take it to go type of place (even though they have plenty of seating) due to the over customer service. I was very surprised and delighted to find that yummy Asian bistro is very similar to Pacific Asian bistro, which I enjoy it very much they even have the amazing shrimp just like them. I have heard that the owners are related I can't confirm this but I believe it due to the taste of the food. I highly recommend the drunken noodles with shrimp, the amazing shrimp, fried rice, the crab wontons and their eggroll. Best pizza I ever had. Ordered 3 orange chickens and 1 general two. Received 4 orange chickens for 80 bucks+ tip. Drove back to the restaurant where Jason dismissively suggested this was the correct order. My wife and son taste tested my meal to which both explained what I received was orange chicken. The two pieces - yeah, only two!- I could tell they were previously frozen Panko breaded shrimp. I guess one of my pet peeves is when menus don't describe the food accurately. Anyway, the rest of the box had a ginger salad, 4 pieces crusty California roll sushi, 2 dumpling things, 2 fried asparagus, 2 pieces of fried sweet potato, and a scoop of fried rice. The guy who owns the place always makes sure everything goes perfectly! My favorite roll is the Rock and Rock #1 - Shrimp Tempura and Krab inside Wrapped in a cucumber!! NO RICE!! Took the kids here for a Sunday lunch around 1pm. The last time we ate here for dinner, there was about a 15 minute wait but this time there were plenty of open tables and we were seated right away. For 4 people, we ordered quite a bit. Appetizers included Age Dashi Tofu, Steamed Pork Gyoza, Oyster Tempura, and a 5 piece Sashimi Appetizer plate. After that, the girls shared the Sushi and Sashimi Combo while my son ordered the House Fried Rice with Beef Teriyaki. I ordered the Daily Special - The Godzilla Roll. The Good -- Service was fast. Oyster Tempura was basically fried oysters but they were yummy. The Not So Good -- The fish wasn't bad. It just wasn't as fresh as I would have hoped. Although we asked for Beef Teriyaki, they actually brought us Chicken Teriyaki instead. (I decided not to say anything.) The sushi that came with the combo platter was pretty spicy. The girls didn't touch it so I ended up eating it. The fried rice was on the greasy side. Prices weren't expensive, but not sure it was worth it for the quality. I gave the sushi 4 stars last time I tried this restaurant. This time we decided to try the Chinese food. Next time, if there is a next time we'll stick with the sushi. Trader Joe's has better Chinese food. Growing up in North Jersey close to NYC I was surrounded by great Chinese food. Unfortunately, here in Saint John's County, Trader Joe's frozen food aisle is the king of Chinese food. We had Sesame Chicken, Moo Goo Gia Pan, Chicken Lo Mein, Sweet& Sour Chicken, Krab Rangoons and Hot & Sour Soup. The kids liked their meals okay but my wife and I were extremely disappointed. Her Sesame Chicken was tasteless and the Moo Goo Gia Pan had way too much garlic. The Rangoons were subpar. We had take out and paid over $75.- Glad we didn't eat there and would have wasted over $100.-. The inside of the restaurant is very nice and the employees are extremely friendly. One of the very best I've had in a lot of years living in Florida all the way from Miami up to Jacksonville. The Won Ton Soup was too small but both the broth and the Won Tons were very good. They do not let the Won Tons simmer in the broth which I prefer for a softer texture, but the quality was right there! Their General Chow's Chicken (all white meat) was very, very good. The batter was spot on and man, it was hot! I was surprised because usually, a restaurant will say it's hot but it's been toned down for most Americans' taste buds. No, this was hot so be careful about asking for it "really hot. OMG! The fried rice was ok, but it was very fresh. If you ordered it as a dish, I am sure that it would be excellent. Yummy is always a solid choice! Although a little pricier than the other nearby Asian restaurants, it's always consistent in service and provides us large enough portions to feel it is worth it. In our family, the fried rice, pad thai, curry, and sushi are the typical go-to's. For appetizer, I'm a big fan of the Crab Rangoon. Unlike many other restaurants, you can actually taste the crab! And the wontons are airy and crispy. Our last takeout visit, I opted to shake it up a bit and tried the Mongolian beef. It might be my new favorite! Delish!! My only complaint is the lack of a children's menu, especially when dining in since we have one kiddo who isn't too adventurous, which makes splitting with him tough.
