This was my first time here. I was craving noodles. I ordered the Lo mein with shrimp. First of all the portion was huge. When she handed me the food to go the bag felt like it was 3 lbs. The noddles were good, shrimp slightly over cooked and they were heavy on the soy sauce. This was the only thing I ordered and it satisfied my craving so I'm going to give them a 3 star rating. My wife and I recently ordered two common dishes from China Sun with no special requests. They were both the worst Chinese food dishes we ever had in our lives. My wife ordered beef with garlic sauce. It had some bizarre sweet sauce and ZERO garlic or garlic flavor. I ordered Szechuan Beef. It also had some bizarre sweet sauce. Szechuan beef is supposed to be spicy with Szechuan peppers. This had ZERO spice. The beef was fatty and chewy like gum. Both of our dishes looked and tasted EXACTLY the same, which is horrible. One star because it was fairly clean and one star because the food was relatively quick for coming and ordering takeout at the counter. The service ladies were nice enough as well, so as far as the restaurant functions I saw no issues and would give 5 stars if it were solely On those factors. (we were planning on eating there, but there are only 6 small tables. They have plastic screen and all up from the counter to ceiling as well as a baby monitor to communicate through for COVID I'm guessing, so we assumed they may not have wanted diners eating there - this is just my assumption and did not ask or see any kind of sign) This rest of the review is considering the food being from a strip mall Chinese restaurant and not authentic or some version of gourmet Chinese food. We ordered a beef chow mein, egg drop soup, honey garlic chicken, pork egg rolls. None were good, but if I had to put them in order of best to least that would be it. the beef chow mein wasn't tough at least - I didn't see any noodles at all in the dish, just mainly beef in some kind of marinade OK tasting. Egg drop soup was about what you would expect from this type of restaurant however it was very orange but just meh flavor. The honey garlic chicken didn't have much of a flavor and the chicken was extremely dry and the outside was soggy. The pork egg rolls had zero flavor, this is usually the only thing our toddler will eat along with rice and she kept chewing it up and spitting it out, so I had to taste it and sure enough it was room temp on the inside with no taste. I didn't come with very high expectations as I can't remember the last time I had this type of Chinese takeout - I usually opt to go to some authentic Chinese food which isn't like the American style or some indochinese fusion - i just hoped it would be a decent version of American Chinese food, but I just couldn't eat it. My husband ordered the beef chow mein so he was content enough. We have tried to make it a point to try every restaurant in Murabella to support the community - but this isn't one we will prob order from again, unfortunately. read more

Called to order delivery and they were 35 minutes to the T. We ordered a lunch combo of shrimp and lobster sauce with pork fried rice, and a dinner combo of general tso's chicken with beef lomein and 2 egg rolls. There's a $4 delivery charge (I'm ordering directly from the restaurant, so this charge has to go directly to the delivery driver because if not, then I find that to be an inappropriate fee) and I left a $4 tip on top of that so for 2 combos I shelled out $29. I am aware I'm paying for the convenience of delivery, but I am a good tipper so I want to be sure it all goes to the right people. The food was ok, definitely not anything I'd rave about. The general tso's was not extra crispy or extra spicy like I asked for, I thought the 2 eggrolls were similar to the ones you can pick up in the freezer section at the grocery store (and would probably have better filling...these seemed to be lacking), the beef lomein was tasty (might have been the best part of the meal), the pork fried rice was decent...the rice could've been fluffier, and the pork was shredded pieces instead of chunks...they put peas and carrots in it as well...the shrimp were well cooked, but I thought the lobster sauce was a bit too runny and underwhelming. We have ordered delivery from this restaurant three times now. The first two meals were fine. The food is the best Chinese we have found in years. The food quality tonight was excellent. Everything was hot and tasty. But I had ordered Pork Egg Rolls as part of my son in law's meal. I called to tell the restaurant that they had left out the Egg Rolls. The young lady that answered the phone said they would just give me a credit for the missing food. I explained that the Egg Rolls were part of his meal. I had ordered them specifically, not as part of a combination meal. She grudgingly agreed to send them out. This house is only 1.6 miles from the restaurant and they had charged us a $4 delivery fee and our spend was nearly $100. The Egg Rolls finally arrived an hour and fifteen minutes later. The attitude of the staff and the apparently intentionally slow response (the original delivery was about 20 minutes after I ordered) disappointed me greatly. No matter how good the food is, the bad attitude of the staff ruined a shared family meal. read more

I've rarely had Chinese food that has little flavor and was not fully cooked. The "house" fried rice included undercooked, small pieces of shrimp. And the sesame chicken had no taste, and seemed more like lemon chicken if anything with a slimy breading. Even the egg drop wasn't up to par, and like the rest of the food, it was greasy. When I called to let them know their food was undercooked for our delivery order, they said sorry to hear that. You can order Chinese food anywhere and, generally, it will be good food.
