One of nights that we didn't feel like cooking or going out! Basically being lazy : ) Ordered in and this just hit the comfort spot for us! Easy to order online or by phone. The order was completed with zero errors and was hot when it arrived. We ordered some steamed dumplings, Wonton soup, house fried rice, shrimp and broccoli, and lastly Szechuan beef. Been coming here for the last five years off and on. Right now they are the only mom & pop Chinese takeout place that is open to eat inside, so I was glad to see that and stopped in for their lunch special. Pros: The lady that I purchased from was very pleasant. The sesame chicken was as always: as good as other good most Chinese takeouts but nothing to make a special trip for. The facility was relatively clean, compared to similar Chinese takeouts. Cons: Normally their fried rice is ok,but today it was terrible: didn't taste fresh, didn't taste like fried rice, and very mushy. I had to add a lot of soy sauce to it but that still didn't help. Had extremely high hopes. The service was quick and very friendly. The food smelled fantastic, it looked aesthetically pleasing. But once we started eating, we became very much disappointed. The chicken in both of our orders were completely over cooked and tough. The fried rice in some parts were also hard and over cooked. The crab Rangoons suffered the same fate as they cooked them so long the cream cheese evaporated! The only bright spot was the white rice which paired with the orange chicken sauce was actually quite good. This clean, brightly lit, tiny little Chinese restaurant has brought 'take out nirvana' to my dinner table - well, more times than I care to admit. Aahh Beijing Cafe thank you for your inexpensive $6.99 Dinner Combination Meals, lighting fast service and a Hot and Sour Soup that makes my eyes water and saliva glands tweak! Yes, my family and I have eaten many items on Beijing Cafe's extensive menu. And although there is the usual standard take out fare, I do have a couple of favorites that stand out from the usual. Some of my favorite meals include the General Tso's Chicken Dinner Combo meal. Magically, the deep fried batter on the chicken never gets soggy regardless of the generous slathering of General Tso Sauce. I am also admitting to a slight addiction to the Pork Chow Mei Fun. For $7.19 you receive a trough-load of thin white rice noodles, mixed with stir fried veggies, and fried egg. If you are truly adventurous ask for this dish extra spicy! To me, this dish alone is worth a trip to County Road 210. I also do like a good Crab Rangoon, but the Beijing Cafe wraps their rangoon wontons in a triangle form, as opposed to the traditional packaged wonton wrap. As a result, when the Rangoon is fried the edges get a little too hard for my taste. Other than this tiny little texture preference, the Crab Rangoon is tasty as well. A really cool thing to note about the staff at Beijing Cafe is that they are always willing to let you experiment with their menu items! I asked if they could make me a curried tofu dish, and quicker than you could say, 'Delicious Chinese food to go', my spicy concoction was bagged, tagged and ready to be expedited to my dinner table at home. This is a great little place. And although it does have a small eating area, Beijing Cafe is primary renown for their take out. So, if you are traveling South to County Road 210, take a right and go to the Publix Shopping Center strip mall. You will find Beijing Cafe adjacent to The Loop! read more

Never disappointed. I've ordered from Beijing Cafe several times and this is my favorite place to eat Chinese when I'm on this side of town. The entire staff is really very nice and the food is exceptional! They keep their restaurant clean and there's never a long wait for my food. I usually order take-out and they are very generous with the portions! Most of the time, I go with the Orange Chicken or General Tso's Chicken with white rice and I have always been happy. Everything is made to order - fresh and delicious! You really can't beat their prices and they have such an extensive menu, I could never get tired of eating here. 5 STARS! read more

I went to Beijing Cafe on 4/25/2020 which was the first day the re-opened since the suggested isolation and quarantine. I wanted to support this small business in our community so I ordered dinner. They were very very very busy and the wait for your food was long. There were at least 10 others waiting for food. However it was well worth it. I had a very large order and they filled it without any mistakes or anything missing. All of the food was excellent. I just moved to the area and this restaurant is next to OTF so I figured I'd give it a try. So happy that I did. I ordered to go and it was ready quickly. The employee I interacted with was so nice, I appreciated her help with some questions about food on the menu (they had everything I wanted). I forgot to take pics because it was so yummy. The fried rice was light and had so much flavor. The lo mein was also good. Sautéed broccoli and white rice was really tasty. The food is not greasy or heavy, it was very nice for lunch and dinner (yup, there was enough for both). The location is super convenient and there is lots of parking. Fresh vegetables cooked perfectly crisp and hot in a flavorful sauce. However the fried chicken pieces in the schezwan chicken were tiny pieces of mostly batter around what seemed like spongey reformed chicken parts instead of actual cuts if chicken. I am going to guess this was sourced from a frozen bag and not freshly made in the restaurant. The food was pretty tasty but looked like all thrown together in bowl, a bit disappointed because the sesame seeds looked like they were just all plopped onto a few pieces of chicken. Very dissatisfied tonight. Called order in told 30 minutes got there 20 minutes after I called paid and was told 30 minutes. I told her that was what I was told when I called so you are telling me 30 more? she said yes. I asked after 20 minutes and still not ready. My food took almost and hour. Other people there complaining also. I have been going there over 10 years and have never been treated like this. Girl acted like no big deal. I would not have paid and waited if I had know another half hour. I recommended to our neighborhood facebook how great. ha ha now put message DON'T GO! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. Very dissatisfied. The food is classic carry-out style. It's very affordable, but lacks the taste of real 'sit down' Chinese restaurants. The food was good, but not great. Portions were decently sized, and the staff was very friendly.... Great place to grab a quick bite to eat on the way home. I've eaten here a few times now. How this place has a 4.5 star rating is a mystery. Four of us stopped in for a quick dinner and all of our dishes were really poor quality. The honey chicken was basically donuts in sauce, the crab rangoons were chewy and lacked creaminess, and the Kung Pao shrimp was mostly cooked celery. To top it off, most of the plates were styrofoam and the only utensils in the restaurant were plastic. It is 2018...ditch the styrofoam. read more

Was impressed by their online ordering segment. We've always called and food was always ready when I arrived. The online app have no indication of any delays. Must have been a dozen people waiting when I arrived. I asked for an approx time after being there for awhile and was told 20 minutes. It took 35 more minutes to get my order. The young man who handed me my food knew I wasn't happy but no apology came with the food. There are other options and I will be using them. No excuse for bad customer service. read more
