Our first time eating dining in. Our waitress was super nice, gave her name and said "she would be taking care of us today" and she did. She promptly refilled drinks, and checked on us to make sure all was well throughout our meal. The meals were fabulous! Freshly prepared and everything was tasty. The hot mustard was kick ass good! I haven't had such great hot mustard in I don't know when. A long time. Something so simpler yet was such a treat to have. Reminded me Of growing up in Boston with old school hot mustard. The restaurant was a Surprise inside, spacious and really well decorated. One side of the restaurant had a large bar and the opposite side was a huge sushi bar with the dining room in the middle. Decided to try Yummy because I don't really like the Asian food in our area & I had never ordered from them before. Ordered a simple orange chicken, was told 20 minutes, arrived 25 minutes later & waited almost 30 minutes for my order, which was sitting at the front counter getting cold because I was never called. Naturally, the sauce became thick and gelatinous on lukewarm chicken that had lost any crispness it once had. A waste of time and money. Stopped in a few weeks ago for a quick lunch as we were passing through--what a wonderful find! Warm friendly service, and the Chinese/Japanese/Thai menu was spot on. Vegan hubby loved the delicious Age Tofu app and spring rolls, and Jade maki roll. My (nonvegan) Crispy Beef was perfection! Same with the Singapore Rice Noodles. We placed an order through the restaurant's website at 11:00 AM for a 6:00 PM pickup on New Year's Eve. We are well aware of how busy NYE can be and intentionally ordered early--this is a place we order from every year for this occasion. The restaurant is about a 25-minute drive for us. My husband arrived right at the scheduled pickup time, but the order was not ready. After waiting, I called and was told it would be another 25 minutes. Over an hour passed beyond the scheduled pickup time, and during that entire wait, no updates were provided while he sat in the lobby. I had to call again and repeat the same information multiple times just to get an update. Ultimately, my husband did not leave with our order until 7:15 PM--for a 6:00 PM pickup. Given the circumstances, especially on a major holiday, it was disappointing that no accommodations, communication, or acknowledgment were offered. We understand delays can happen, but clearer communication and better customer service would have gone a long way. read more

Ordered the Yummie appetizer, Sesame Chicken white meat, Pork fried rice with extra vegetables, Deep fried Oreo's, & Fried Vanilla Ice cream! Totally a hidden gem! Planning on ordering takeout momentarily. Only negative was that the waitress didn't check in on how food was & I was waiting for a refill on my soda & my husband was waiting for a beer. Having been a server before for many years beverages are important. However, I would still definitely go back! Hoping the take out will he just as good. Their beef teriyaki was outstanding, crab ragoons delicious, chicken fingers very good, fried rice very good & the sesame chicken to die for! Wasn't a fan of the chicken wings but, that's ok. I have eaten in person at this resteraunt and the food is good but the service for delivery/takeout is rude! I called to order takeout and they said I needed to order through door dash, in which I did but notes for the order was disabled. I called immediately after placing the order to request spicy Mayo on the side for my sushi and she said I needed to do it throughthe app, to which I explained I could not. The woman was beyond rude and told me there was nothing she could do even though the order had just been placed within 30 seconds of calling. I am now currently awaiting a refund for my $70+ order. Their food is good but service is awful. I have spent a lot of money here on both eat in and take out nor do I ever write reviews because I have personally worked customer service for many years but the woman on the phone was beyond rude. Do not recommend takeout here. Update: they continued to bang on neighbors doors trying to deliver the order despite calling them and cancelling it. read more

I really enjoyed my visit here! It's rare that I get dine-in Asian food and this was a great place to get it. I personally tried the following dishes: General Tso's chicken - this was a massive portion and tasted so yummmmyyy!! Served with white rice. Fish katsu - I had never had katsu before but wanted to try it. I was surprised by the flavor of the sauce, but I did enjoy it (although I had to use it lightly since it was a strong flavor). The fish tasted really fresh and overall it was really well-cooked. It didn't taste oily or fried, it just had a great crispy texture on the outside and fresh on the inside. Served with white rice. A few negative comments: - The server couldn't really explain any of the sauces. We asked about a few of them to get a better sense of what they tasted like and the answers did not help at all. If you can't answer, just grab a sample or something (assuming it's pre-prepared). - There was a hair in the fish katsu :( We just took it out but it's pretty gross to think about. - The type of fish used in the katsu was not listed, which is fine since we could have asked but I just found it odd to not specify. - One of the dishes (the katsu) took significantly longer than the others to come out. Overall, the service was fine although they were clearly understaffed and it took a while to get our waters refilled, etc. I would definitely come back despite the challenges - I'd love to try out their lunch specials. read more

We are very particular about flavorful, fresh and properly sliced food and must say that that the lunch we just enjoyed exceeded Our expectations!!!! Mango chicken, red curry chicken and yellow curry shrimp were absolutely delicious- and we had a catering business!!!! Tony, our waiter, was very attentive, meeting our every need and assuring us to take our time. The sailor and I went here tonight for the first time. We were attracted by the yelp reviews and by the fact that there was in house dining. We were the only table in the restaurant which was fine for us. We ordered two diet cokes and an appetizer platter -It had chicken fingers, crab rangoon, chicken wings, and beef teriyaki. Everything was cooked fresh and had its own unique flavor which can be hard to do with fried foods. Everything on the plate had flavor and tasted so umm.... Yummy! lol. I think our eyes were bigger than our heads as we each order a main dish as well. Each of our main dishes arrived on beautiful plates. The sailor got the house fried rice and it came with big chunks of meat, (chicken, beef, pork and shrimp, eggs.) Carrots and peas were standard frozen veggies which for me was the only underwhelming element. Rice was medium grain and had great flavors. I had the beef pad thai. Oh my word! So good! I kept praising the staff for the taste. It had big pieces of marinated beef, crushed peanuts, eggs, lemongrass, oyster sauce, and a chili sauce that was so complex! There was a heat that crept up on you at the end of the bite in a good way! To reiterate, everything was flavorful. We had a lot of leftovers which we took home for tomorrow. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. The soft shell crab was battered , chewy tasted like low tide! It literally tasted like the scooped out the green goo in a lobster shell, battered it & deep fried it. This is comijg from a person who eats fried whole belly clam & oysters and im telling you i'm worried for tomorrow..it was literally one of the worst things ive ever eaten! The egg roll was supposed to have pork in it, but did not and the spring rolls were complete mush inside. Lighting $30. on fire and watching your hard earned $ burn would have been better than eating that. The rolls were anything special, but they were at least edible. My company was a little wigged out that the sushi was warm not chilled, but the oishi tempura was decent. One I called was closed on Monday (no, this was not my first choice) and another was rated so poorly I just couldn't chance it at our age. We ordered a pork fried rice and crab Rangoon, which I can say we are veterans of these two dished, and they were both really good.
