Plenty of parking in the lot, which is always a plus. We ordered the Black Garlic Ramen, Kimchi Ramen, and Chicken Karaage. All the dishes were good, but the ramens lacked a bit of depth in flavor. That said, the portion sizes were massive, easily enough for 2-3 meals if you're not super hungry. I really appreciated how nicely charred the chashu was, it added a great texture. The chicken karaage pieces were huge, super generous portions. They definitely don't skimp here, which is great value-wise!

We usually visit this place when we have ramen craving. We usually order the spicy black garlic ramen and the tonkatsu ramen. These satisfy our cravings for soup. The price is reasonable compared to other places. The restaurant has a few tables for 2 and 4 people. Most people order online for pick up so there tends to be seats available. It's an order and sit down place if not for pickup. So it's definitely a quick bite and go kind of place.

This place seriously deserves to be a big restaurant! I came here yesterday for the first time looking for a good ramen spot nearby and I was not disappointed. Even though the inside is kinda small compared to a full size restaurant, it was not crowded, loud, or uncomfortable. I've been to 2 "high-end" ramen spots in SF and Yummy House knocked them out of the park. Our appetizers were really good as well. Their service was good, nothing crazy or above and beyond but I honestly can't complain because the food is that good

Good portions & friendly staff. I got the beef teriyaki to go. It's cheaper if you buy it in person, through uber/doordash the prices are more expensive.

This review is for the sushi restaurant in San Pablo, not to be confused with the Hawaiian restaurant in El Sobrante with the same name. Yummy House is right across from SF Supermarket in College Center where BurgerIM used to be. The restaurant is pretty cozy. By recollection, there were 5 tables of 2, and 2 tables of 4. Definitely not a place for a big gathering. The food is a bit reminiscent of Kyoto Ramen in Pinole: Chicken Karaage - the family's favorite dish - a healthy portion of chicken pieces fried and seasoned to perfection Poke Bowl - we did a mix of tuna and salmon. Also recommend this one. I liked all the ingredients in this dish. If I could change something, it would be a little more sauce and upping the greens to rice ratio (there was a lot of rice). Black Garlic Ramen - It looks right, but the soup flavor and richness is just not there. If you're expecting ramen, you'll be disappointed. If you're just looking for soup noodles, it's not bad. Tonkotsu Ramen - Same issues as the ramen above - soup flavor and richness is severely lacking. I don't recommend this one. My kids had the California Roll. I didn't get a chance to try, but it looked solid. My guess based on the ingredients in the poke bowl is that the sushi is decent here.

ramen here is pretty good! lots of toppings and the soup is rich

So we decided to come here to try out the newest Japanese fusion fast food place in town, and had a decent meal. My boyfriend had the ramen which was really good. The portion was big and they were generous with the toppings as well. The noodles were good and chewy. I had the poke which was just okay. The salmon didn't taste the freshest, and I wish they diced it a big larger. The portion was large though, so it is definitely filling. I personally prefer a marinated poke, but fyi, they put the diced salmon and then put the sauce on top here - so the sauce doesn't really marinate the fish. For our sides, we had the karaage, the sesame balls and the grilled squid. The karaage is really good. It's nice and crispy and moist as well. And it was good dipped in the sauces provided. The sesame balls were just okay. I think they were fried too long so they were dry and the filling was barely there. The grilled squid... was the worst part. Do NOT get the grilled squid. It was so rubbery I couldn't even chew it. I'm hoping it was a one off experience, but I think I'll just avoid that dish here. All in all, come here for large ramen portions, and delicious chicken karaage! They don't have boba here, but they do have milk teas. My boyfriend got a Thai tea and enjoyed it. It wasn't too sweet like a lot of other places. There are only a couple tables for indoor dining here, but since they're still pretty new, we didn't have to wait to find a seat!

We stopped at Yummy House for lunch after my mother's doctor's appointment in Pinole on Tuesday. This restaurant is near my mom's & sister's place in San Pablo. Actually this was our 3rd dining whenever we took our mom to her appointments. The place is small and has a few tables to dine indoor. And it is in the College Center where the other restaurants and supermarket are situated. When we entered the restaurant, the same lady (I forgot her name) took our order of food and we had to pay first. My mom liked Chicken Ramen but I had to specify to the lady not spicy and not salty because of her health issue. For appetizer, we thought of ordering a Grill Whole Squid for the first time. We also ordered Rock N Roll and Dragon Roll. The same lady brought the hot ramen. It had the garlic chicken, boiled egg, kikurage (tree ear mushrooms), bamboo shoots, green onion, sprouts, corn. I tasted the mushroom and soup and it was edible. Not spicy and not salty. I was glad the lady followed the restrictions for my mom's ramen soup. We were hungry that we enjoyed the Rock N Roll (BBQ Eel, cucumber, avocado) and Dragon Roll (Tempura shrimp, crab, cucumber top with BBQ Eel & avocado). Again the taste of the rolls were amazingly delicious. I don't mind coming back again with my mom & sister. For fast food, I recommend this restaurant.

Saw this was new in town and decided to give it a try after reading reviews from other fellow yelpers. I was disappointed with the quality, taste and portion. The concept is similar to a food court where you order up front and you wait for your food. Water is self serve. There was a decent amount of take out orders which was why our sushi rolls took forever. Ramen: we ordered the black garlic ramen and the tonkotsu ramen. The egg, pork, and Woodear mushroom was good. But the noodles were not very flavorful. It didn't soak in the broth from the soup. Not the best ramen I had, sadly. Beef ribs teriyaki bowl: my dad said it was not bad, but not the best beef ribs he's had as well. It smelled good, but he was wowed. It came with veggies on the side on top of a bed of rice. Rolls: out of the 4 rolls, the spicy tuna roll tasted the best. The rock n roll, bay scallop roll, and spider roll was disappointing. The rice was not Japanese sushi rice, and if it was sushi rice, it was smooshed together... sadly not appetizing. I hate to say this but one of the worst sushi I've had. This definitely reminds me of college food. For the price, I can't expect too much.

I'd say yum for Yummy House. Definitely 3 1/2 stars, almost want to give it 4 for the expedient service. By far the spicy tuna roll was the most flavorful! California roll was your standard. Believe me, you can mess up a California Roll, but Yummy House didn't do that. Wasn't wowed by the Spider and Lion King Rolls. The Lion King Roll was over baked and the rice was sticking to the tin foil. The Spider Roll was okay but my biggest gripe is it lacked the real CRUNCH and flavor when you bit into it. Again, super quick and efficient for takeout. Limited seating, especially for a group larger than 4. This restaurant is located inside a shopping plaza, so there's plenty of parking.

Having this in El Portal next to San Pablo Supermarket was a good choice. I tried this place out since I don't enjoy going inside San Pablo Supermarket. I will admit the soup was big. It was bigger than I expected. It was a delicious meal. Whenever I am in El Portal I will try this place again.

It was a wonderfully hearty ramen with a balance of fresh and simple ingredients. This was perfect and allowed the delicious broth to really be the star. LAMB RAMEN. 5/5. VEGAN KAARAGE MUSHROOM. Made to be reminiscent of fried chicken, these were very pleasant and paired with our broth. I would order this again. I am interested in knowing the preparation method for this as the inside was piping hot while the outside was just warm- almost like it was reheated. I would like these to be crispier with a bit more light seasoning. Overall looking forward to the next visit!
