Pros: 1) good quality food at reasonable price 2) great service during takeout 3) lots of seats Cons: 1) looking around during pickup, ambiance could be improved Rating: 4.5/5 The ambiance could be improved in the aspect of the restaurant is close to bare. No real flare or uniqueness that I can remember from being in the restaurant to pickup my orders. The service is great. All orders are done well and I've never had any issues with placing an order or picking up an order. The hostess also gave us a lot of sauces on request. The food here is amazing. The quality of the fish is excellent. I've been here 3 times and have never complained about the food. The portion sizes also are really good as well. Overall, I recommend coming here to try out the freshness of the fish. All of the food below was well worth the price. Food: Nabeyaki udon: 4/5 - tasty and worth it Grilled squid: 4/5 - good flavor and good amount but a little overcooked Tuna poke salad: 3/5 - good flavor but not a lot of tuna Maki combo (comes w/ salad and ginger dressing and miso soup): 4.5/5 - good deal, tasty classic sushi, did not have eel as written online Tokyo giant roll: 5/5 - very tasty and fresh Martinis special: 5/5 - lots of fish, fresh, worth it Audi roll: 4/5 - big pieces, good fish but overall flavor was not the best (the lemon did not work for me Six brothers roll: 5/5 - good flavor and different New Zealand roll: 4/5 - big fish, fresh fish

I've tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt multiple times as it's close and affordable…read more- but today's experience was awful. The sushi is 6/10. Not terrible. But not great either. Fish and other raw food is kept at room temperature which isn't always a welcoming notion. This was my fifth visit. Four of five visits had screaming infants and children's YouTube videos blaring in the background. NOT a restaurant for peace and quiet. When ordering a roll, I was offered the choice of soy or seaweed wrap. I opted for soy and my roll arrived a couple minutes later. The sushi itself wasn't bad, but again the bombardment of an infant screaming and YouTube programming really detracted from the experience. I'm uncertain as to why some parents believe their three month old would benefit from a raw fish experience. Unfortunately come time to pay, I noticed a little extra than advertised on my bill - an up charge for soy paper. Now small amounts aren't normally a big concern - provided the customer is notified of an upcharge fee when ordering. Not only was I not told, but it's not mentioned anywhere on the menu. When I inquired about it, my server was kind enough to take it off the bill. However, he then proceeded to argue that "generally people just should know that it costs more" and "nobody really says anything". Look - it's a matter of principle. The cost of doing business is what it is. But TELL people you're going to charge them extra. DON'T sneak it on to the bill and assume everyone knows. That's a shady nickel-and-diming tactic that will eventually get noticed. And don't try to defend it when you're caught red handed.

First time trying would not go back. There was a roach in the food. Never the less service was fast.read more

My Daughter and I stopped for lunch. Not much ambiance…read more Our server was nice. She tried. Unfortunately our food left a lot to be desired. We ordered the vegetable spring rolls they had very little filling, had an odd flavor from the oil, but were very crispy. I ordered the hibachi lunch. My daughter ordered General Taos chicken. The portions were large. The fried rice had hard dried out pieces of rice, I guess it had sat open somewhere and dried out. the menu said my chicken would have a teriyaki sauce, not teriyaki, some not good sauce which was so salty I couldn't eat it. The raw chicken had not been covered I am guessing, because it had a 'skin' on it? I could not eat it. My lunch came with a choice of salad or clear soup. I chose the salad, was very crispy but it had almost an 1/2 inch of water in the bottom of the bowl. My daughter said her clear soup was excellent. Her General Taos chicken had an old freezer taste she said . We were totally unable to eat the entrees. So sad. We had hoped that this would be our go to place for Chinese food.
