So we had to call CAA and pay over 200 dollars for the service. So we said its whatever let's go to cheesecake factory to just celebrate our anniversary, and since we think we deserved it we went to the one at yorkdale. We went met a manager named ALEX a blessing in disguise, we ordered our food and cake he told us, "its on us" this guy is a saint and a good person for doing this i appreciate what he did and love that he did that. He didnt have to but he did and I praise him for it he gets more then 5 stars for the person and the customer service he has. Hes a gentleman and a scholar I thank you ALEX your a wonderful human being

The wait time before we were seated was 45 minutes. But Boy was it worth it. The menu was full of abundant choices. We ordered 1. Slider burger appetizers 2. Egg rolls sampler appetizer 3. Louisiana chicken pasta 4. Chicken and shrimp gumbo 5. Shrimp tacos The food came in ridiculous large portions Wowza And everything tasted extremely flavourful We all were thoroughly full from all the food The only suggestion I have is to avoid the shrimp tacos. They came kinda soggy. But everything else was wonderful. We will definitely be back to enjoy this establishment as there is a reason they have been there so long An easy recommendation if you are looking for some casual dining of American fusion cuisine.

The modern, chic decor sets a wonderful ambiance, and the service was immediate and welcoming. The food was spectacular from start to finish. We started with fresh, warm bread, followed by a flavorful seafood gumbo loaded with meat, and a generous portion of two lightly breaded crab cakes. For our mains, the 10oz ribeye and 8oz tenderloin were seasoned and cooked to absolute perfection--compliments to the chef! They came with a lovely side of baby potatoes and vegetables. We capped off a perfect meal with a warm pecan tart and ice cream. I highly recommend coming here. We noticed they have a pizza oven and plan to add pizza to the menu soon; we already can't wait for our next visit to try it out! Ps parking wise, the restaurant is just off a residential neighborhood and parking is free. No need to pay for any parking, just remember to read signs.

I'm back at the Union Social Eatery again, for a family dinner. The location is very accessible by…read moretransit, but if you are driving, then you may need to scout out a parking spot in the sidestreets. It has a cosy, comfortably casual ambience. On a Sunday evening, it was quiet and intimate. Our server, whose name I did not learn, was excellent: kind and willing to make recommendations. Union Social has an excellent menu, with lots of diversity to cater to all palates, but not so many items as to be overwhelming for either staff or customers. We started off with cocktails, and my son's Citrus Mule -served according to tradition, in a copper mug - was so tasty. I enjoyed my Smoky Apple Old Fashion so much. It is worth coming here for a cocktail alone. Now, on to the mains (we skipped the appetizers, but the shrimp tacos did look tempting). I explained to our server that I was torn between the Smokehouse Beef Burger (which I regretted not ordering on a previous visit) and the Spaghetti Positano, a seafood pasta finished with lemon-herb breadcrumbs. She enthusiastically and energetically recommended the pasta (I love it when they actually give a recommendation, as opposed to, "Well, it depends what you want"). I was not disappointed! The seafood spaghetti was terrific! Surprisingly, the breadcrumbs more than compensated for a sprinkling of parmesan. I savoured the leftovers the next day, and I'm still thinking about it. The other diners, who ordered Cobb Salad, the Chicken Sandwich Special, and the Tuna Bow, were similarly satisfied. Apparently, the Steak Frites and the Fish and Chips were outstanding, as was my Pasta Positano (especially for garlic lovers!). A few other diners ordered dessert: they each had creme brulee, smoking hot from being freshly torched. The surface featured that perfectly glossy, lightly burned sugar, which always reminds me of a caramel-colored skating rink. The dessert was, according to my daughter, who is a connoisseur of creme brulee, was perfectly done. To finish off, my son (don't worry, he's an adult) had an espresso martini. I had a sip, and I can totally vouch for it being so divine! We had a very satisfying meal, and I'd only wish that I knew my server's name so that I could acknowledge how excellent she was. I'll be back. I keep planning for the burger, but right now, I could sure go for another helping of Spaghetti Positano!

We dined on a Saturday afternoon, so business was on the slower side. At first the service was great, however after we were sat the staff seemed to neglect us. Our server was very disorganized, letting us know he'd grab something for us but go and do 4 other things like grabbing drinks/plates for others and then forgetting about us. He touched 4 other tables and chatted with customers in between dropping off the bill and grabbing the moneris machine for us...now the food was fine however portions are very small and it was very expensive. If I were in the area again I wouldn't recommend coming back.
