The staff was a bit reserved but they did warm up as our visit progressed. We ordered a few items from the menu, including a California Roll, Double Shrimp Tempura Roll, Rainbow Roll, Oriental Soy Garlic Chicken, Grilled Shrimp Hot Bowl, and the Grilled Bulgogi Hot Bowl. Everything was fantastic; hot, flavorful, and fresh. Even the beverages were refreshing. The Lemonade was solid. The Peach Green Tea was new to my taste buds, and I really enjoyed it. I especially liked the Virgin Mojito, really nicely balanced and this would be my go-to drink for sure! If you're in the area, stop by and try it for yourself. I would absolutely return.

They have several dishes with just fried chicken pieces, with various toppings and sauces. They have a menu with several versions of udon noodles and they have a menu. What time is the best sushi I've ever had? The sushi is loaded with fresh ingredients and it is rolled and cut so thick. You're going to get full after 4 pieces, Just glancing at everyone else's order coming to their table was mind blowing for me. I cannot put my finger on what makes this sushi so incredible, but the flavors are outstanding. I went with the soy chicken and the sushi that had the most pictures. THE YUMMY YUMMY. O....M....G!!!!! Even there dumplings are crazy. I travel damn near an hour to get to this place halfway through I was thinking to myself you got to be crazy for driving this far, just for sushi. But yelp has never led me wrong and I stayed the course , and HOT DAMN!!!! Impressive and efficient. Im willing to get a room on this side of town next time just to be closer. NAH......FRFR!!!!! I love yall!!!!!

The restaurant has a spacious dining room and a small bar, so if I'm meeting someone or just don't feel like eating out of a container, I appreciate having that option. It's casual, comfortable, and has been in the neighborhood for years. The menu is HUGE. Shrimp fried rice, chicken dishes, seafood, noodles, sushi...pretty much something for everybody. I usually keep it fairly simple. The shrimp fried rice is a safe choice, and the chicken and broccoli is another easy order. Now, people LOVE Mulan. For me? It's okay. I've never had a terrible meal here, but I've also never eaten anything that had me thinking about when I could come back and order it again. The food comes out hot, portions are decent, and service is generally pretty quick, so there's nothing particularly wrong with it. It just doesn't wow me. I do give them points for being an actual sit-down Chinese restaurant because those seem to be getting harder and harder to find. If I'm already in the area and somebody wants Mulan, I'm perfectly fine going. I'm just probably not the person suggesting it first.

What a huge surprise that this place became an instant fav in 1 bite!! The staff there were so kind. It felt like we had 4 folks assisting us throughout our visit. We ordered the following. As a Thai food lover, this place ranks high on my list. They have the best bites - all the Thai favorites and sushi. Tonight we started with crab Rangoon and the Thai egg rolls. Dinner was Pad Thai with medium heat. Delicious. Served fresh and the taste was amazing. No cocktails on this visit because it was late and it's time to cleanse. Haha! I'll return on a weekend to have a swing at the bar options. The hostess and service were attentive and explained ingredients. The dumplings have pork premade in the mix. The atmosphere was laid back and only a few other parties were present this evening. Families celebrating a birthday, a patron had their toy dog on their lap and a couple was at the bar. Definitely go if you're in the area.

The service was impeccable and there's even a call button at your booth to discretely call your server. Our Japanese waiter was so friendly and very helpful. Oh and the booths are the way to go. Cozy and intimate so you feel like you're just with the company you came with. Haven't really seen many places like this lately and I must say, it's very appealing. And then there's the food. Every single dish that we had was a wonderful. My Japanese mother thoroughly enjoyed her meal at Nagomiya and commented that it was all very authentic. Her favorite is always chawanmushi (steamed egg) which is usually rare to find at restaurants. And the fish was all very melt in your mouth fresh. But not only do they do sushi well, their tempura was perfectly battered and fried and the hamachi kana was cooked just right. Highly recommend!

The restaurant itself is charming as they have private booths with curtains, which makes for a cozy dining experience. I ordered the sukiyaki with a mini chirashi and shared the okonomiyaki. The chirashi was the really good because the fish was fresh and flavorful. However, the sukiyaki was a bit too salty for my palate, and the beef was slightly overcooked. The okonomiyaki was enjoyable, though I personally would have loved a bit more sauce to round it out. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but there is definitely some room for refinement with their main dishes.
