Must be 18 to enter. Menu is on board when you walk in. Self seating. Food took a while but it was pretty good. We had Shrimp Po Boy and Bacon Cheeseburger with crinkle fries. The decor and dining area was clean. One stall in the ladies bathroom didn't have a lock but it was clean as well. Must be 21 to play Poker machines.

We wanted to see the "end of the road," and stopped at Yum's for some yummy grub. I ordered shrimp po boy - I stick with the reliable. The sweet potato fries were SO. GOOD. server was really sweet( you could tell it was popular because it was packed! Dad got the catfish and said it was delicious. I forget what mom got but we all loved the food. Grand Isle is a cute place to check out! I would definitely recommend Yum's; it is almost like a diner atmosphere. Their menu is good and the food is also great. Very reasonable and quick!

    Nez Coupe and grits! YUM

Excellent food and service! Not fancy, but top-notch flavor and a delightfully friendly staff. The best creamed grits and croissant sandwich ever! The coffee is Community - my favorite, and the ingredients are fresh. There is parking around back and an outdoor patio for large groups. The building is old but well maintained and clean. We are staying at the state park, a short drive or a nice bike ride will get you here.

Crab bisque, corn chowder with grilled toast strips. Awesome!

I passed this place on the way to see the end of Route 1 (stupid, time wasting day trip). Made a mental note to stop on the way back. I had passed A LOT of small eats places on Route 1 on the way, but this place from the outside looked inviting. Parked on the side and came in. I was greeted by the waitress, cashier (maybe owner, I don't know), and ordered a Sprite, went to washroom.it was big for a small place, but no hand towels, and the toilet paper was on its last couple a sheets (check these items, restaurant people!!). It was clean and had a full soap container. THE FOOD: I ordered the corn chowder, crab bisque. It was kinda small, but full of crab flavor, nice consistecy, and corn in it. Came with a grilled toast. Excellent start. The crab po-boy was 21 bucks, so my second choice was a shrimp po-boy. Boy, it was good. One of the best I've had. Now I'm not saying I'm a po-boy pro, but I've had quite a few. The bread was tasty, didn't crumble, lightly grill toasted. The shrimp was medium sized, but there were a lot of them. Lightly breaded, and not greasy, but done JUST enough. Sometimes a mistake I notice from some places are the shrimp are thrown on straight from the fryer, making the bun soggy and greasy, the mayo congealed, and... just a greasy mess to eat. This was not the case here. The right amount of mayo to taste, but not glop all over the place. Lettuce and tomato, again the right amount. I told the waitress it was one of the best I've had. There were only a few people eating there so maybe the cook had time to make it JUST RIGHT. I don't know the reason, it just was. Fries were skinny fries, hot, and good. It was about $22 bucks (I think the bisque was almost 6 bucks), plus tip, but I was satisfied. Staff was friendly. Some parking, but not a whole lot. Clean tables.

Stopped here twice on a recent trip. Had the shrimp tacos both times. Best I've ever had, totally ruined all other shrimp tacos for me.

Just right: Crispy, thin, & tasty. Maybe a little corn meal in there? I dunno.... Side order of potato wedges were, um... "ok." Not something I'd make a special trip to go back for. Also grabbed an order of boudin balls. I'm a big fan of boudin and these were heavenly! Lightly battered with the same goop as the chicken, then fried until crispy, hot, steamy, and exploding with savory goodness. DELICIOUS! (So much so that now I'm thinking of going back for some RIGHT NOW!) Here's something that was weird: They have a few dozen different chicken menu options; dinners, platters, ala carte, etc... One menu offered "all-white" as an option. I asked the clerk if a two-piece was a wing and a breast, or what. She answered, "We only do all-white on Sundays because that's when we cook the breasts." Uh, ok... wait... what? I mentioned that the sign on the door (two signs, actually) said they are closed on Sundays. She replied that they were, in fact, open seven days a week. So I can't promise you that you can get white-meat fried chicken; I can't promise you can get it on Sunday. But I can promise you will love it because it's REALLY good!

It was good, a little salty. But its not as tender as a beef burger. It was a nice change up. The pickles were good. We ordered some to go. ( take with you or they can ship to your house). The burger itself was filling to me. Rest of my party bbq pork and fish platter. Hush puppies were okay, they give so much. I could honestly do without it. Everyone was satisfied. 2nd visit ordered the porchetta . That was really good. Ordered a mac and cheese. It has breadcrumbs on top it comes in a small dish that i feel like is shareable. It wasn't bad actually ( ive had worse lol). One of the workers did really suggest it. I was willing to try it. It was edible, no cheese pull but also not just buttered noodles. Depending on my mood I might get it again. Porchetta and the leadership pig, I think the porchetta was better but both are great and filling.
