Always recommend this spot. Delicious sushi and always fair pricing. Their sushi is always on point!

I came across this amazing #momakase deal for one person on Uber Eats and I just had to order it. For $40 bucks I had to choose two rolls and the rest are sushi and sashimi. I chose eel avocado and shrimp tempura rolls. When the food came in there was lots of pickled ginger which worked really well. There was also a good amount of wasabi to mix with the soy sauce. Totally worth the $40 bucks.

Came here on a whim because I was in the area. VERY happy with my choice. The food was ready within 10 minutes of calling it in. The sushi was very fresh and delicious. I got the lunch special which was a great deal because you get both a soup and salad while other place usually make you pick between the two. I would absolutely come back here again, everything from the sushi to the salad dressing was delicious. Highly recommend.

I was in the town area of Roslyn for a Self Care Day & decided to have lunch at Yuzu. The place is small & quaint just like the neighborhood. I got the Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box lunch special. It also came with salad & miso soup. My lunch was delicious and the service was excellent.

Cute spot in roslyn. Seating is limited. Small tight setting. Sushi is decent. Seems to be where the overflow go when they can't get in to Kotobuki. Honestly I think I would wait for Kotobuki..... staff is kind and friendly none the less.

This feels more like a 4 1/2-star experience…read more We had a lovely dinner at Kissaki this evening. We started with an espresso martini, which was excellent--smooth, well-balanced, and a great way to kick off the meal. My husband and I each took a few sips before I remembered to snap a photo--always a good sign. For appetizers, the wasabi rock shrimp and spicy tuna crispy rice were both standouts--fresh, flavorful, and nicely executed with great texture. We also ordered the 10 piece nigiri flight, which was consistently impressive. The fish tasted fresh across the board, with the uni being a highlight--rich, creamy, and exceptionally fresh. The shrimp tempura roll was delicious--crispy and well-balanced. The only dish that didn't quite land for us was the ebi hamachi futomaki. It wasn't bad, just not a favorite for my husband--I only remembered to take a photo when we were nearly finished. From the kitchen, we shared the black cod and sea bass--both outstanding. Tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked--definite highlights of the meal. For dessert, we shared the peach cobbler, which was a great finish. Warm peaches with hints of bourbon and cinnamon, paired with Japanese vanilla ice cream--comforting and well-balanced. Service was warm throughout, and the quality of the food was evident in nearly every dish. While it leans toward the higher end in price, the overall experience fell just shy of a full five stars--but was nevertheless very enjoyable.

The Sea Bass is outstanding and is a must try; flavorful (no strong fishy smell/taste), super soft and tender, like cutting warm butter with a fork. Another must is the Matcha Tiramisu, outstanding and unique! I am not a matcha lover and this was one of the best deserts I've had! The lights are dim, there's live music certain nights, comfy intimate seating and a modern flair. Service was excellent, the waitress was extremely helpful and patient with us. Parking is limited and a task in itself, so plan accordingly.

Good place for drinks and sushi!…read more Came for the lunch prix fixe ($37) and it was pretty worth it for the amount of food you get! Would recommend their spicy tuna roll appetizer (the sushi rolls are the best things here!). I got the braised short rib as my main. It was a tasty first few bites, but became a bit dry once you ran out of sauce (especially since it's a lean cut). The peanut noodles that it came with were alright. Ended with the banana wonton dessert! It only comes with 1 wonton, but the best part is the lychee sorbet and banana cream it comes with. Very yummy (and a small dessert but good enough to end the meal!) Overall, stick to the sushi! Get their drinks! Had the coconut and lychee cocktail which was super yummy. Service was amazing (constantly changing plates, cleaning up our table between courses, friendly). Would recommend a reservation especially if you come at night as it gets crowded.

The food was very delicious and flavorful, and the overall presentation was perfect. Each meal looked like works of art ready for consumption. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. However, we thought the place was very crowded. It was clear that they placed as many tables as they could without trying to take away from the aesthetics. It was also so loud that you couldn't really hear yourself talk. My other problem was that though the staff was very kind and attentive, it did feel as if they were rushing us out, in order to sit another party, which was very frustrating because it felt like you couldn't really enjoy the food. It was our first night out in awhile and the experience felt rushed and underwhelming, unfortunately, despite the food being so good. I recommend going before or after peak hours to avoid some of the chaos.

Really sleek, darkly lit and feeling like it's a place for a date night. But they had a lot of families with small kids in the restaurant as well. There's plenty of seating! I thought it was so nice of them to start us off with a bowl of warm edamame as we perused through the menu. Menu is not super extensive but it was a little difficult to read through. Large list of drinks compared to the food. It was also a little bit hectic hailing down the waitstaff for help, but it was a very busy weekend night. I ordered a couple of rolls. The East House roll was very nice, though I didn't expect from the description that the roll would not be wrapped in nori but in that clear-ish yubu skin situation. I wasn't mad about it, the presentation was beautiful. All of the fish felt very clean and not too strong or fishy tasting. I also had a spicy tuna roll which was good but not really spicy or tuna-y enough for my preferences. The sushi rice layers were nicely thin so that I didn't feel overstuffed with rice afterwards. Someone from my table ordered the hot udon as it was a cold and drizzly day outside. They felt the flavor was bland. It looked fairly bland and disappointing. Miso soup was also bland, though it was generously portioned. The shrimp teriyaki was overcooked. I do think this is a nice elevated environment, and as long as you're getting something from the sushi bar. It's a bit pricey, but you're getting pretty decent quality fish.

We had kitchen entrees. Stopped by here after visiting sands point preserve hoping for good meal Atmosphere is very austere. Feels like corporate cafeteria rather than a restaurant. Service was on par with casual Chinese takeout. Waitstaff seemed annoyed we were there. They cleaned the table while we were still sitting Kitchen entrees were huge but just ok food wise. Chicken was very dry and rice bland To be fair, we didn't get sushi but prices for sushi here were crazy. Same platter or chirashi I can get in manhattan for $18-20 was $45 here. Rolls and appetizers were north of $20. That is nonsensical So final review: Ambiance -2-3 Service -1 Food 2

The restaurant itself was cozy and intimate - it kind of gives you a NYC restaurant kind of vibe which was nice to see on Long Island. I would note that it was freezing out and all the cold air came in when the front door opened. This made it very uncomfortable - I wonder how it is when it's really hot outside. Also, because it is a small restaurant, noise levels could be elevated. Spicy dumpling soup - very good but dumpling had no flavor. Probably store bought. Fluke carpaccio - very good. Some shrimp appetizer - shrimp was small and sauce was almost like a curry sauce. I would pass. Sushi platter - very good. Nigiris are pretty small. This won't fill you up. Grand wazoo roll - this was okay, torched squid was a little tough. Isn't she lovely roll - this was okay. Steak with potatoes and brussels sprouts - not much steak but very tender. Brussels sprouts were nicely cooked. Overall, a good experience especially with the service being top notch. While sitting on the high top worked, it took away from the experience. I would get a regular table or sit at the sushi bar. We were also distracted from the cold air coming in that my wife had to wear her coat. If you like a modern take on sushi, I think you would like this place but if you're looking for something more traditional, I would look elsewhere.
