I have been coming to Bamboo since they opened. My favorite therapist is along and o have been coming to her for years because she is so good. Strong and has intuitive touch. Really helps with my back pain. I wish they'd add massage tables with adjustable face cradles which would be better for the head and neck. read more

Found a last min appointment on a rainy day. Staff were very nice. It was a rainy and windy day and the layout is set up where if someone comes in or out it brings a draft. Takes away from the relaxation a bit. Also massage was OK but not the best. read more

Absolute awful customer service and communication. I've been contacting this location and the manager for over a month after very disrespectful and inappropriate conversation with the front desk young lady and the service I communicated what I wanted was not what I received. I made an appointment in advance for a one-hour foot massage on a Sunday afternoon, which I'm glad I did cuz they seemed quite busy while I was there. All of the massage beds in the shared room were full, so they put me in a private room... well kinda private, it's surrounded by 3 walls and a curtain, but wide open at the top. It worked out fine. The massage was a little under an hour, as I spent at least 5 minutes just sitting with my feet in a pail of hot water. Pressure was on the softer side but still effective for a relaxing massage, definitely thorough, all parts of the body (head, neck, back, arms, legs, and of course feet). Btw, the foot massage is a fully clothed treatment, but remember to wear pants you can pull up to get your feet/legs worked on. Both my masseuse and the front desk staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. And price was fair, $50 for an hour, plus tip. read more

If you're looking for a foot massage (or good body massage) this place isn't it. Save yourself now and go to Oasis Thai Massage 5 minutes away. You'll get 15 minutes of a foot massage and then 45 minutes of other excruciating pain with a 1-hour "foot massage." I actually feel worse and in more pain after, and I usually get deep Thai massages so it's not that I'm unable to take deep pressure massages. The massage therapist doesn't massage actual muscle or aches and instead painfully pinches your shoulders' skin with tips of the fingers like someone grabbing onto your skin and all its tender nerves. In other areas, he uses his boney fingers to carve into your bones and shins like steel which only makes your body more tense in fighting the pain. On the back and other parts, he uses the sharp tips of his elbow with so much pressure like a knife cutting you that I couldn't even breathe and even though I asked for less pressure multiple times, he did not ease up. There was zero sense of a comfortable level of pressure or understanding that someone requested less pressure. When chatting with the front desk after to see if there was a misunderstanding that I wanted a foot massage not body, they confirmed that a "foot massage" only includes a small portion of a foot massage and it's a body massage otherwise. You apparently have to request a "special" treatment upfront if you only want a foot massage (so why is it even called a foot massage?) A "body massage" is basically the same thing but priced higher and in a private room instead of open common room. Despite all this, I still tipped at the end and the front desk literally requested a higher tip. I didn't agree and again explained my experience did not deem such a high tip, so she just decided to add on an extra credit card fee. Un freaking believable. read more

They give you a 5$ discount if you leave a 5star review written on the wall. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but unfortunately this was the worst massage experience I've had. There was an unpleasant smell upon walking in, which immediately set the tone. The treatment rooms are right next to each other, so it didn't feel private or relaxing. I could hear people chatting throughout the entire massage, which defeats the purpose of booking a quiet, relaxing service. To make matters worse, I actually left feeling more sore and in more pain than when I arrived. An excessive amount of oil was used, which made the experience uncomfortable rather than soothing. Overall, it was disappointing and not the calming experience I was hoping for. I hope the facility takes this feedback into consideration and makes improvements for future clients. Despite the experience, I still left a 15% tip. However, I was made to feel uncomfortable when the masseuse expressed that she needs a 20% gratitude at least, which is not fair. Tipping should be at the client's discretion, especially when the service does not meet expectations. read more

Disappointed that this establishment uses gloves. I have been getting massages for the past 25 years, less than 10% of massage businesses do this. It doesn't feel good or relaxing. A real professional massage is no gloves. Ok, if the foot is a tad dirty use a hot towel to clean foot, and/or soak in a warm bucket. Use hand sanitizer afterwards, geeze. Unfortunately I was injured by the masseuse. I came here for a back massage a few days ago and since then have had terrible sciatic nerve pain. The woman working the front desk was also a bit rude. When I came in I paid up front in cash $100. I was given $20 and $10 back. I thought it was a little odd I wasn't given appropriate change to leave at 20% tip. When I left I handed her the $10 and she let me know I needed to leave a 20% tip and asked if there was an issue. I told there was no issue but that she didn't give me the correct bills to leave the 20% tip. I ultimately left the 20% tip but she was rather abrasive about it.
