Got takeout from Kati Thai Eatery. Did mild spice for all entrees. Appetizer: Angel wings (5pc, tasted good but definitely better if ordered in person) - Wanted to try the Crab Pad Thai, since I've never seen that dish offered anywhere else before. Enjoyed it but I'll probably get a different protein next time. - Khao soi with chicken was so savory and delicious! Would be perfect if a little less salty. - Also really like the beef pad kee mao! Wow! I didn't know such a yummy Thai spot excited close to my MIL's house! It is such a gem. The workers there were all amazing and the food was amazing. Yummy Thai food and enjoyed our lunch here! I like they do a salad & egg roll with there lunch specials. The green curry was delicious but wish they added more eggplant. Been here at least 5 times ever since we discovered it late last year. The food honestly never miss. I tried a different dish everytime and none has disappointed. My favorite so far is the crab pad thai and khao soi. I always go for spice level 3 but I'm thinking about to attempt 4 to see how hot it will be but I think 3 is quite perfect. Randomly decided to try this place near home due to the positive yelp reviews! I would give my first visit a 3.75/5! I got the lunch shrimp pad Thai and the full size yellow curry spice 2 with a side of roti! The yellow curry was the best! Great flavor, very creamy delicious taste of coconut milk and ample meat if you are not a pro when it comes to spice definitely cap it at level 2 which had a nice level of heat to complement the flavors but not overpowering. Will definitely be back for the curry again! Pad Thai was disappointing. It was like sweet and sour but not in the best way, too much sweetness overall and random distinct sour notes came through. Came out hot and I was hungry though ‍ Shrimp was cooked perfectly though and the portion was very generous for a lunch size. The side salad was yummy nice peanut dressing and the spring roll was fresh light and crispy. I think pricing is decent for the portion sizes! Definitely enough to eat off and take home leftovers. The roti was 3.50 and to my dismay only included 3 small triangles which I felt like wasn't enough for that price point. Overall nice experience and inside atmosphere. Place was pretty quiet with a couple tables filled when we entered Saturday for an early dinner. It's very cold in there so bring a jacket. Great ac. anyway they do have a small bar serving Sapporo & other Asian beer and I think wine. My daughter had Thai tea. We ordered the dumpling, pad kra mao and pra king (?) everything was good. Made our first visit. Have seen many good reviews and we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and attentive. The music was just the right volume. We had the sampler as an app. It's mostly fried except for the chicken satay, so not a light dish, but very tasty. We ate it all. Foe entrees we got the fried chicken and sticky rice, and an order of the green curry with chicken. The servings were large and we are taking leftovers home. We'll be back. Came around dinner time on a Tuesday and ordered Mango Paradise Medium Spicy. There was no one else dining in but they remained busy with takeouts. I was shocked to see no one was dining in as the place is spacious and gorgeous. I want to think it has to do with it being a weekday and all. As for the food - the name of this plate is as accurate as it can get. I am a lover of mangos, anything spicy, and the explosions of flavors sure tasted like paradise. A hidden gem in Richmond. We ordered Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Pineapple Fried Rice and Kang Kua Goong, all of them were delicious and the portion sizes were quite large. New Thai eatery located close to our hood. My youngest daughter visited our residence and decided to treat the Mrs an early Mother's Day dinner. Mrs decided to pick Kati because she was in the mood for Thai and this eatery was new. We ordered roti, chicken satay, mango salad, pad Thai, crispy chicken basil, and yellow chicken curry online. We went with heat level of one since all three of us were wimpy. Foods were ready when we walked in for the pick up. Everything was seasoned perfectly and tasted delicious. The servings were good size. Prices were competitive with the other Thai in the area. The Mrs was so impressed, she went back the next day to get other noodle dishes and red chicken curry for our lunch and dinner. Kati is our preferred Thai eatery in our hood. read more

An absolute hidden gem in Richmond/Katy area! The restaurant isn't easily visible but it is off of 99 and Mason Rd. There's not a lot of authentic Asian cuisine/restaurants around the area, understandably, but Kati Thai has changed the game and succeeded by bringing in familiar and delicious food with the addition of outstanding service. Wow! I have been missing out on some deliciousness. Came here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and it was not crowded at all. We were seated right away. Staff is friendly and fast. We order chicken pad thai, beef pad kee mao and a Tom yum. Their mild is more of a medium for me. So next time i would prob say less than mild haha. Decor is more farmhouse/brunch vibes. Doesn't really look that "thai" in there. But food is amazing! So glad i found this place and will continue to support it. read more
