Stopped by today for breakfast. As we parked we can hear live music coming from the back. So we opted to sit outside. Our hostess asked if we can wait for 5/10 mins so they can clean up in the back. The Owner of Z's came out to chat with us. I have to admit: she's the nicest lady around. Very pleasant. And invited us into the cafe to tour the place. Showed us their home made bake goodies. And the house. We left on our own to tour the rest of the house.. I currently live in Charlotte and to see a place like this be transformed from a house to a breakfast and bakery was really special. Charlotte Nc seem to be running over every spot. And just built something completely new. Don't even try to preserve the old. I ordered the croissant with eggs and cheese. 2 sausages and a cup of fruits.. The eggs was scramble but it was nicely made. Every soft. And not over cook. I really enjoyed it. The sausages are usual cook to the standards so nothing to say there. Customer service overall is great.. I would like to come back to try other goodies.

Cute little restaurant converted from a house. We had the breakfast platter and croissant egg and cheese sandwich. Service was nice. The food took longer than expected considering it's breakfast. The parking lot is small and is gravel if that matters to you.

Stopped in today around 10 am for breakfast, there was no wait probably due to the rain, they set me up with a high chair and the rest is history. Everyone was so nice and sweet. The food was delicious. I will add this in as one of my favorite breakfast places in Fort Mill! Make sure to check them out when you are in the area!

We've been more times than possible to count at this point and every single time has been excellent. We appreciate that they refresh their menus but also keep the favorites as well. Today we had breakfast platters and also their cinnamon french toast which holy moly was DELISH. The service here is what makes this place special- it's very much a small town feel and incredibly welcoming. You really get the sense that they care if you like the food and your experience. They also have great coffee! Can't recommend this place enough, super cute, amazingly sweet staff and great home cooked food!

Time to FES up: A great local spot! I have been trying this place since it opened. I think they have really improved on some things since the beginning. F(ood): Most recently, I had a fabulous soup, turkey Reuben and pecan pie cupcake! I've also enjoyed the Mozzarella Panini. The Mac and cheese very good. This is a cute little place tucked away in fort mill. Parking can be challenging during buy times. This place was sort of busy for Saturday around 12 noon. Hosts at front were very welcoming. We were seated inside. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Food was also delicious and tasty. The only thing, I would have liked hash browns a little more crunchy. Went for brunch and it was basically tasting like frozen food you can get out of box or canned. Definitely was not fresh. Way overpriced for what it is, I guess the gimmick is that you are eating food in a house and not a restaurant? Not sure but seems like everybody working there is related and their totally disorganized like its their first day ever being open. Hearing the owner angry cussing at her kitchen staff didnt make her seem impressive or good at what she does. read more

This place was pricey but the food was good, the tea room that we rented was very charming and very clean and the staff was wonderful. Don't order the cake. A 6 inch cake was $65. You would think for that kind of price it would be out of this world, right? Nope! it was dry, it was flavorless and it tasted stale. The icing itself was hard. Again, for that kind of money, for a cake at the bakery, I expected a lot more than what we got. read more

Their cinnamon rolls are the rage on Facebook so I had to try them. They are the best ones I have found yet But.... they have too much icing They were so sweet I could not eat it all. Need to find out if they will prepare with light icing. I like to taste the cinnamon and not just the sugar. As is they are not one I would order again. read more

I just adored my first visit here. Our server was so kind and friendly. It was so refreshing after just moving here without knowing anyone. "Oh. My. Gah!!" That is what I said when I took a bite of the strawberry cupcake I had today!!! "Wholly wowzers!!" Yep, that's what I said when I had the Carmel Lovers cupcake! I ordered 2 dozen cupcakes for a baby shower and both flavors were AMAZING!!!!!! Everyone was struggling not to eat more than one! I will NEVER have cupcakes anywhere else! Fabulous bakery in Fort Mill! Cakes are made from scratch and with lots of love. Everything I've had here is wonderful and tastes amazing. Cupcakes are dense yet light at the same time without falling apart while eating. Frosting is homemade and plentiful without being too much or too sweet. Quaint lil bakery in downtown Fort Mill. Food was tasty and fresh, and the cupcakes were grand. That's saying a lot considering I don't really like cupcakes that much. We only got the vanilla and moon pie ones, and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to log that one as one of the tastier things I've eaten. Staff was friendly and sweet. Pretty sure we'll be coming back, especially knowing they make GF cupcakes here too. read more

My Mom raves about this place, so we finally went To lunch today. Yum!!! Great bacon and cheese quiche, egg salad sandwich. All desserts were good but salted caramel cupcakes were my favorite. We grabbed a few things for breakfast tomorrow since the biscuits and turnovers looked so fresh and delish. Fun place in restored old house - perfect for girls/moms/grandmas lunch but we saw plenty of couples and families in there too. read more

Cute lunch spot in a home. Lots of room and a larger size room for parties. Lunch deal 9.00 is an entree of a sandwich, a side, a dessert and drink. Cupcake upgrade is 1.00 extra. Opt for the upgrade ! Their egg salad is tasty, comes with a slice of bacon on it. Sweet tea is brewed perfectly. Fun lunch spot, but not the fastest if your on a hour lunch. read more

1 star for service. Food is still good. We have ordered lunch and cupcakes many times with no issues. But not today. Are they under new management or something? My son waited over 40 minutes for his lunch order to be completed. Never even took half that time before. Then when he gets home, they had given us the wrong sides. He had to drive back only to receive a less than enthusiastic "sorry". The least they could have done was provided him a free cupcake for his troubles. read more

Everything about Z Bakery is top notch! The cupcakes, cookies, cake pops, brownies.. They are all fantastic. These goodies are all made from scratch! The shop is beautifully decorated and the staff is always friendly and extremely accommodating. I've used Z Bakery for a specialty cake, cupcakes for parties, and just a treat for myself. I'm here for a few months for work and I've heard from several locals that z bakery is somewhere I must visit before I leave fort mill. I was told the customer service is excellent, the cupcakes are delicious, and you can't go wrong with anything on the lunch special. Unfortunately we had already eaten so we only grabbed cupcakes but the young lady working was so delightful and made us feel like old buddies. Z Bakery made custom cupcakes for my grand daughter's Minion- themed party. I didn't think it could be done, but I had three styles to choose from! The cupcakes were the hit of the party. The children and adults raved about them! They were fresh and delivered to my door. They were perfectly decorated and tasted delicious! I prefer Z Bakery to CupCrazed because the cake part is better, more moist and the proportion of cake to icing is balanced...not overwhelming. I couldn't be happier with the product! We used Z Bakery for a smash cake for our son's 1st birthday, as well as some custom cake pops. I sent over a few pictures of what I was looking for and they nailed the final products! Z Bakery made my wedding cake with only a few days notice (because the friend who was going to make it cancelled!) Not only was it beautiful and delicious they did it for the price we were going to pay my friend. I was so stressed and they calmed me and made me immediately feel everything was going to be ok.
