Food is average, not great or bad. Middle of the road but hey it isn't pricey, its pretty cheap. Service is decent. Again not great, not bad. The best thing however is the cheap beer on Fridays. Drafts for $2.50. The patio is pretty cool, decent place to hang out with some friends. One of the better places you are going to be in St. Roberts. read more

I'm really happy this restaurant is open during COVID! They have great service and really take the time to make you feel appreciated and that girl Lisa is the best! Throughout the entire time we were at the restaurant she became a friend! She forever attentive to her tables and does her absolute best to help you find something to eat/drink. I had went out with my boyfriend for the evening. We had pizza and wings The food was amazing, I love the crust and how it was so fresh and delicious. As were the wing super crispy best around here...... but the service was amazing!!!! Lisa made our night superb! The best service, and the best food!!! Given the very nature of off the beaten path hotel bars and the often completely vacant state of yours you would think you would encourage your staff to encourage people to stay. Staff rudely running up and telling you that "she doesn't like it when you move chairs" when someone unexpectedly sees friends at a table is the exact opposite of that. Not only did you lose the simple business of any food or drink that person may have purchased, but the loss of any additional drinks of said friends. It's not like you were busy or a chair would be missed. All you did was cost workers tips. But that's none of my business, just like future hotel stays are none of yours. read more

The staff here is unpleasant, the manager expressed a distinct dislike and lack of cooperation with our table. Despite being guest at the hotel and having a daily presence at the restaurant distasteful and borderline apathetic attitude is expressed from the majority of the employees. Poor service poor attitude unwelcoming atmosphere. Will not continue to stay nor support this establishment, the majority of the service members with me will not have repeat business with this restaurant/hotel. read more

I always eat here when I'm on TDY, food and drinks are pretty good and the ambiance is nice. My only problem is, for most government employees travel days are on Sundays, so with that being said, people whom either fly or drive in on Sundays might be hungry for dinner... so why would you be closed on Sundays when there are multiple hotels in the area and it's super close? Went here a few times while in the area at ft wood. Foods good, decent prices both on alcohol and food. Friendly modern atmosphere. The only reason it wont get 5 stars in my opinion is that the entire wait staff was behind the bar talking about how much they wanted to get off and couldn't wait till "that guy at the bar pays his tab and gets out" mind you i was the last person in the establishment at 1045 on the website it states they don't close down till midnight. If you are in town, do not miss this place. Mitchie, the head chef, is an absolute pleasure to talk to. She walked my boyfriend and I through the menu, describing each awesome entree in great detail. Your mouth will be watering by the time it is done. You can tell she has a great enthusiasm for what she does. Her customer service is second to none, as well. My boyfriend and I were in town visiting for a military graduation, and had issues with our hotel accommodation. Mitchie overheard our woes, and invited us on the spot to dine with them. Outstanding meal!!! We decided to visit the "restaurant behind our hotel" because we received a $15 gift card. It was amazing. The portion sizes were larger than expected. We ordered 5 completely different meals from chicken salad, to steak tacos, to chicken and waffles. All were cooked to perfection and were delicious. The executive Chef came to our table to see how everything was prepared and if we're were enjoying our dining experience... Highly recommended, too bad it is set behind hotels off the main strip... Our dinner tonight was delicious. The blackened tilapia was amazing and I am addicted to the house salad dressing. I like to go on Wednesday nights because kids eat free and our daughter enjoys the food too. On the weekends it's one of our favorite places to have a drink outside on the beautiful patio. read more

The atmosphere was clean and inviting, though that's where the positivity stops. The hours listed are 5 pm - close, which the bartender kindly informed us after a "helpful" patron sidled up to the bar while telling us "girls" that they were closed, sorry honey. The bartender did serve us anyway seeing as we were there at a whopping 9:30 pm, but the drinks were lackluster and highly supervised by other waitresses that clearly just wanted to get out of there. Don't get me wrong, I understand what it's like to be at work and dying to go home because it's a slow night. What I'm not so empathetic to is an establishment with an opinion instead of a real close time and a double standard between clear regulars and someone they've never seen before. Being from out of town, we stopped in because of the walking distance from our hotel and the friendly atmosphere. Big mistake. Let me start off by saying the idea of this restaurant is good. The reality of it, not so much. I wouldn't have even done this review since I am forced to give it a star, but since I feel their fries were amazing, I will give them that one very deserving star. The service and main dishes are TERRIBLE. I stayed at their Holiday Inn for a few weeks a few years ago when I initially got stationed here. I was unaware it was owned by the same family. Just as the hotel experience, the owners are very arrogant, too self-assured, and have egos in overdrive. They care too much about self image than business image. They are nonchalant and snarky with legitimate complaints. When I had a problem with my drink, she asked me if I was SURE, I know what I like.. It was very dull.. Not a playful joke. A legit, rude, snarky statement. After a long day of drills, I was not in the mood to argue. I just asked for a regular beverage and went on about my day. Then, I was talking with my commander, and he and his wife had the SAME issues I did. Their incompetence of knowing how to value customers will one day lead to their downfall. Karma does come back, and this town talks. I've only been here 3 years, and almost every body I meet, knows someone who has had bad experiences with them or they have themselves. To have a good business, you have got to be good people. These people are very self righteous and KNOW they would not have what it takes to run and keep a business if they were located anywhere other than a busy Army Post. If all they had were local customers and no "tourists" they would spiral face down, ass up. If the owners would honestly work on themselves and how they treat people, I would give this establishment a second chance. Until then, I will make my own $1,387.00 drinks at home the "wrong" way; just the way IIIII like it. read more

Found this place by accident. It's a little gem with a great staff. The rooms here are great for us frequent travelers. Not only is everything here but if it's not here they will make sure they help you get it. I love the fact that every night there is a different special at the full bar which is all restaurant. A modern and upscale feeling place--very unlike most of the bars and restaurants in the area. We enjoyed drinks on the patio to live music. Ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was excellent. The Cosmopolitan was great! They have ladies' night drinks specials on Saturdays. The service was very good--better than other places in the area. Decided to try Z Loft on Friday at 1700. Great Lady's night drink specials - all $4. Ordered blackened chicken salad and ribeye steak sandwich. Both entrees were awesome the salad was huge and came with great bread and chipotle sauce. Don't let the salad prove scare you well with the cost. You could do an appetizer and share a salad. The ribeye steak sandwich was good, cut the meat with a butter knife and the fries we're nice and crunchy. Staff was very courteous and friendly. Great neighborhood hem. Don't bother, says the vegan in me. But the vegetarian in me says the same thing. They have salads but they are all covered in meat.
