Why did Z Cleaners get my business over several other companies, and why am I eager to write this review? Two reasons. He made it very simple and easy to work with him and his pricing is unbeatable. My kind of service provider - Easy, simple, high-value and convenient. Many carpet cleaning companies I engaged made things too difficult - sent me a ton of pricing info and options for me to read and calculate, wanted an appt to come measure before providing an estimate (despite all the info I provided online), had long lead times, charged extra for basic services (i.e. deoderizing). Not Z. One phone call, he understood the scope of work, provided an estimate,.set up a convenient appt, arrived on time, he and his helper moved stuff around and finished in a couple of hours. Z Cleaners offers a great drapery cleaning service with pick up and delivery. Our Washington DC apartment had two walls of white, pinch pleat sheer draperies that needed cleaning, and I had no idea how I would get them to a dry cleaner and home without getting them wrinkled and covered in dog hair from my car. What a find to learn Z Cleaners would come take them down, clean them, and deliver them for us. They did a beautiful job rehanging them and used a steamer to remove any last wrinkles from transit. The price was under $300, which seemed reasonable for full service, and I'd rather pay more for a cleaner who knows draperies than risk ruining then with a local clothing dry cleaner. Z is really friendly and prompt for appointment times, too. I would highly recommend this company for drapes and will try them for rug cleaning next time I need it. read more

This was definitely the best experience I've had with any services. Mr Z was very polite and professional, came on time and went straight to work. What really impressed me from the very first encounter was without even asking, he put on the shoe covers for when he could work. Most people just walk in with their shoes, or ask if you want them to put it on. Just shows you the respect he shows to all of his clients! After that, he brought out these little plastic corner covers that you wouldn't even think of. They were to protect my corners on the turns of my stairs! I was already impressed by his service and the care he put into preparing to clean my carpets, but this was on another level of customer service! THEN he pulls out this orange thing and I'm wondering what is he up to now comes and honestly kind of excited to see what he'd do next. Due to the service we were getting, he needed hoses running up into the house and up the stairs. The orange "thing" was a door cover with a zipper from both sides! You needed the door open, and instead of keeping it open and making the cold come into my home, he came prepared and the cover allowed you to walk in and out without any issues, but also kept the warmth in and the cold out. This was just in the first 10-15 minutes. He'd already exceeded my expectations of what amazing customer service should be. Then, before he began cleaning the carpets, he noticed our carpet had a bubble and was running. Needless to say, he was prepared and helped get rid of the bubble by stretching it back out. Finally, he began cleaning and it was definitely the best cleaning we've gotten. His attention to detail, the time he put into making sure everything was covered and cleaned was phenomenal. He cleaned our carpets, rugs, and even the stairs! Whiter whites and our rugs were more vibrant and the colors looked like they were brand new! He was very prompt with drying everything while working and it was just amazing service. He even had these little styrofoam cubes that you could put under things while your carpet dried and leave minimal imprint marks until it was completely dry. He definitely has the experience and his customer service and respect were beyond excellent. If you want exceptional service, I would HIGHLY recommend and I will definitely be calling him again in the near future for cleanings.
