I went in today with my daughter to check it out with her and I immediately was greeted with warmth and kindness. My daughter got to pick some crystals out from the treasure box and was so excited to receive a prize. We browsed for quite sometime and anytime I had a question it was cheerfully answered. I had Z Fabrique bookmarked for a while and finally made it down there today. The store has a large selection of items and the woman that rang me up was really pleasant. I bought a cute dream jar and a smudge stick. Three stars because the space felt very cramped and disorganized. It also seemed dusty, like some of the inventory had been around for a while. An overhaul of the store seems in order. Maybe better organization and a more streamlined appearance would give the store a more pleasant, updated vibe. read more

I love this store and I've been coming here since I was in middle school! Which was about 15 years ago. I have found countless gifts here and the jewelry selection is ecclectic and awesome! They also have tons of candles, incense, garden decor, pictures frames...all kinds of neat stuff. Staff is usually super friendly and helpful. The ONLY reason it doesn't get the fifth star is because last time I checked, they closed kind of early (compared to other 2nd street stores) during the week and for a gal who works in Torrance until 6:00 during the week, it isn't super convenient if I need to make a quick gift stop. I'd been looking for something in order to bless my home and rid it of the bad vibes and emotional scars that violence left behind. Not really knowing much, I mentioned it to my friend and salonist, Lil, and she immediately said Z Fabrique, next door! I'd been one of the first to love this shop when it first opened, gosh...it has to be close to 20 years ago?! I lived on St. Joe's and enjoyed a Saturday stroll over to look for some unique treasure to add to my apartment and buy Rain incense. I moved out of the BS area in 2000 but am thrilled Z Fabrique has remained in business (esp high rent area!) and a quite successful one at that. I do apologize if this is long but I'm writing from the heart and my fingers just keep typing. I've had so much stress in my life these past few months that it's affected my focus. I prioritize, write things down, but I'll always end up straying and starting something else. So, of course I couldn't seem to get there before closing at all this past week and decided to message the business. I explained my situation and what I'd hoped to accomplish. That was after closing last night and the owner herself, Nancy, sent a reply that I just read this afternoon. It was so much more than I expected. I'll just explain. As I read it silently in my head, it was not my own voice but she that was speaking it softly, just above a whisper...and that gave me comfort. From her warm greeting, explaining a house blessing, to the options she presented, up until the part that blew me away, where she so kindly gave me a blessing to say and included where and how to begin...that gave me strength. As I finished reading and "listening", I felt the comforting arms around my shoulders slowly release...I had accepted and would run with my sisters reassurence. There will be no more force of negativity in or upon this home. Extending my deepest gratitude and sincerest thanks to Nancy. Finally, I did make it before closing this evening (yeah!) and Renee Michelle kindly assisted me. I'm looking forward to performing my house blessing. Z Fabrique was there to help, not just make a sale. Their long standing in the community proves what they're all about. All I can say is they do, and always have, deserved more than 5 stars and y'all reading this? Just get there if you haven't and one bit of advice. Plan on being there longer than you expect. The shop owners were very inviting and there were few hidden rooms inside the shop that made a much bigger than it appear from the outside. This is my new go-to for crystals and incense! It's a quaint little spot in Belmont Shore. I can't remember the name of the woman who helped me out but she was super friendly and welcoming!
