This store is my Favorite place here at Seal Beach. I must go in this store every time I'm here. The Mermaid and light blue beach colors in the window always drag me in.( ) The smell as you walk in with the candles and the ambience of the sea gifts offered. They have jewelry, to dish and kitchen items to light perfume. Also ornaments to car necessities to the array or Beautiful wind chimes made from shells beautiful sea themes. Handcrafted cards to key chains...my Goodness just go in!!! You will Thank me!!! I never walk out empty handed this store has it all. I also love that they pack your items so good that when you unwrap them and know it's a secured gift. They really do care about their customers and merchandise. I went in a few weeks ago with my sisters and the 2 lady's at the register were super nice and helpful. I brought in a half eaten açaí bowl from earlier and there was a sign outside that said no food but when I was inside shopping the 2 workers saw it and didn't say anything and even were talking to me about an item I was interested in. A tall lady comes from the back and tells me I'm not aloud to have food and says in a rude tone she could hold on to it, and when she grabs it she says "is this trash"? And looked bothered. If it was trash I wouldn't still be eating it and holding on to it. Once we're gonna leave I ask for it back and she begins to ignore me until I ask again and then she gives it to me and I'm walking out the door about to step out and I take a bite of it and she yells no eating aloud in the store. As I'm already out the door. She was rude from the start so we're glad we didn't give her our business! We were gonna buy something until the rude tall blonde lady came out from the back. read more

I saw a ring I liked asked if it would turn my finger green and she had said no. She had lied to me, because it did and when I called her she basically said too bad no refunds & store credit only. Also, she had an extremely bad attitude as well. I would not recommend coming here or buying anything at all. It was a horrible experience and the worst costumer service here possible. Love this place The prices are reasonable, the people are really friendly and they have a bunch of different things that make really awesome gifts for friends and family. I'm a bit of a gambler lol so I love that they sell these mystery crystal bags. So whenever I come here I always have to grab one. My teen found the cutest book journal, and I bought some beautiful beach decor. I plan on going back for presents for my mom and sister. Seal Beach, CA We stopped in to browse and picked up a few gifts. This store is located on Main street and it's just a block or so from the Seal Beach Pier. They carry a good amount of ocean themed items such as candles, jewelry, home décor. They also have a nice selection of greeting cards, some are made in England. The service was personable and they nicely packaged the items in gift bags and tissue for us. Street parking is free for 2 hours. read more

The merchandise is unimportant, because the staff and all of the employees are not complying with the California covid-19 safety laws. There's a sign at the front door that says you can't bring liquids into the store for fear of spilling on merchandise. But they don't seem to mind spilling covid-19 germs on you. also no hand sanitizer and merchandise that is always touched. read more

This is one of the cutest stores that I've ever seen. There is beautiful jewelry that is all inspired by the ocean and the beach. I am seriously obsessed with all of the home decor items. I just want to buy it all. Everything here is very unique. I have never been to any other store like this one. My wife enjoys the shops on Main and stopped in a few for clothes and/or jewelry, The Cottage being one. Nice shop, jamb packed with fun stuff. She found a pair of earrings and then the experience soured quickly. Two cashiers were talking within 5 feet of the register with their backs to my wife. After waiting politely for a few minutes my wife said " excuse me, I'd like to buy these earrings." One of the women said impatiently "we know, hold on...... The rude expression and attitude was a stark contrast the the laid back friendly attitudes we had been enjoying all day. Needless to say we will never go back! read more

I have never had a more unpleasant experience than dealing with the owner of this company. I ordered a gift, well in advance of when I needed it and the order took 3 weeks to arrive, missing her birthday. Their website clearly states 2-5 days lead time. When it finally arrived, the names on the gift were not our family names. So the order was incredibly late and the wrong gift shipped. When communicating with the owner, she showed no empathy and refused any partial refund. She truly did not care that I spent my hard earned money on a product to support her small business. Additionally, I spent a tremendous amount of my valuable time trying to communicate with them. As I look at these reviews, I fully understand why my experience was less than pleasant. I am not alone. This company is poorly run and truly does not care about the customer experience. They want your money, that is it. These places are a dime a dozen, take your business elsewhere! read more

The store is so beautiful! I come to this area frequently and never noticed this store. It captured my attention with the lighting and display. Then to see they had a Christian decor section made my day! I will for sure return, but I feel like if I do I will always leave with something. The lady was very nice, I wish I got her name. She got to know us and made sure I was helped. I didn't notice any racial discrimination in the store. I'm pretty sure it has to do with me being hispanic because she kept looking at me like i was an alien and when i asked what a product was used for she replied with 'yes'. I really didn't want to write this review but after reading everyone else's review it clear that I am not the only one. These people obviously look down at people of color. The shop is very adorable and well organized. I loved the look and wanted to check it out. I entered an empty store and was completely ignored. Of course they greeted every white person who walked into the store after me. The cashier would hover around me as if I was some sort of thief. I came to seal beach to have a nice time during the dark age of COVID and was quickly reminded why minorities feel uncomfortable in orange county. That reminds me, they didn't even wear a face mask! They had those plastic face shields! PLEASE WEAR YOUR MASK! Lord knows they won't. I purchased my things and it all made sense when I saw a TRUMP tumbler on there crafting table.
