We bought a comforter. It cam obviously used and with stains. They refused to issue a return. They want me to just accept the stain comforter and just take some money off. I have visited this store twice now-Great customer service, very friendly and helpful staff each time. I love their unique products and decor. It's true, for some reason, they do not have a lot of each item in stock. I bought something both visits and each time they informed me I was buying the last one. So out-of-stock hasn't been a problem for me yet, but I can see how it could easily happen. However, I have decided that because of their unique, quality decor and great customer service, this will be a go-to spot for unique birthday/holiday gifts, home decor and lighting. read more

I recently redecorated my Living room and bedroom I ordered quite a few things from the online store. I learned a very valuable lesson, you're much better off buying things that are in stock in the store then online. Furniture delivery takes 4 to 6 weeks. Some of the items are shipped directly from vendors. I had an issue where numerous items were shipped to me broken including a headboard with a giant hole in it and a end table with broken glass. Unfortunately returning the broken pieces and being refunded were quite a hassle. I love the overall aesthetic of Zgallerie so my advice to you is shop around in the store buy pillows, accessories anything that's in stock. Stay away from items that have to be shipped. The issue about buying online is when an item is shipped directly from a vendor it is not returnable so if you buy a headboard or a table or anything else and you're not happy with it for any reason it's nonreturnable. I'm not OK with that. I have to say though I really like Ashley who works in the store she's extremely helpful. If you see something that you like and it's not on the floor ask because they do have a large storeroom where things can be pulled out for you. And I find that most of the employees are pretty helpful. If you do have an issue with an item be persistent. Customer service is very difficult to deal with and you may have to talk to a supervisor and call many times before you get it resolved. read more

Sucks sucks sucks sucks!!! This place is a joke! Tried to purchase an item from them that was on the wall. My husband spoke to the manager, sales associate and we were told even though there was a tag on the item with a price and it was hanging up that they didn't have them. We couldn't buy it. Then emailed customer service they answered back with the wrong product information. Although there was a picture attached. We emailed 2 more times and they never responded, just called I was told that I was wrong, they don't have this Cheyenne Deer head, that it was a moose head and I was mistaken, I have a picture of the item.. I was told over and over, while I'm looking at my picture that the item doesn't exist. Never a solution made, never an alternative. I have never written a review on any sort of platform, good or bad. Mostly because I've worked retail as a college student in the past and know how customers can be all kinds of rude. But the sales associate working today was INCREDIBLY rude and snarky when asked if we could look at a wall clock. The store was empty and he was not doing anything but standing behind the register. Bought two pumpkin decorations online on 12/12 finally got it on 12/24. First of all shipping took a long time. You would think that such an expensive place shipping would be faster. Anyway, got my package to find out only one out of two pumpkins arrived. It is now 12/28 & I still haven't received my other pumpkin. I ordered 2 lamps & a mirror in store on 04/10/18. By mid May, I had still received nothing. I called & spoke with a ZGallerie rep who informed me that my items would not arrive until June. I cancelled the lamps but was told the mirror would arrive within 3-4 business days (which would have been about 05/24/18) so I opted to keep the mirror on order. Today is 06/07/18 & I still have received nothing. Monday, Chris from Dalton Logistics called stating that the mirror would be delivered Tuesday between 12-4. I stayed home Tuesday waiting for the delivery; nothing ever came & no one called. I called ZGallerie & canceled the order. Wednesday Chris from Dalton Logistics called again announcing that my mirror would be delivered Thursday between 10-2. It is now 2:15 on Thursday & still no mirror. read more

Found the couch we wanted on line but wasn't sure about the color or coordinating with other furniture. The staff was great in terms of taking the time to make sure we got the color and accessories we wanted. Also, for a furniture place, the delivery fee was reasonable. Only downside is that for the most part each item is custom made so it can take up to 12 weeks to get. So, if you need the piece right away this may not be the best option. read more

I am very disappointed with the customer service I received at the St. Louis Z Gallerie store (Store #61). I was in the store a little over a week ago looking at the Helios Chandelier. At the time, the item was on sale for 30% off. The associate helping me said the sale was going to last until New Years Eve. When I went on the website yesterday to buy the item, it is now only 20% off. I called the St. Louis Z Gallerie store today to find out some more information, and I spoke with Chanel, an assistant store manager. Chanel told me the 30% sale only lasted until Christmas Eve, not New Years Eve. After explaining the situation to Chanel, I told her that I feel very misled by the store and asked her to honor the 30% price that I was quoted in the store by one of her associates. Chanel said "Even if someone in the store told you the sale was lasting until New Years Eve, we have no way of honoring that price." I am disappointed by that response because I think the company should honor their word and match the price I was quoted and match the price that the item was selling at last week. I don't understand why Chanel could not do a price modification. It's not like I waited months to buy the item, it was selling for 30% off only last week. Chanel became very rude on the phone. When I asked to speak with Chanel's supervisor, she said her supervisor was not working today. When I asked for Chanel's employee I.D. number, she refused to provide me with that information. When I asked Chanel for the district manager's number, she refused to give me the number and would only say the District Manager's name was Shannon. After hanging up with Chanel, I called Z Gallerie's corporate number (310-630-1200) but they were not open today so I left a very detailed voice mail about the poor customer service I received. So far, no one from corporate has returned my call. I then called the Z Gallerie customer service number today (800-358-8288) and spoke at length with a customer service representative regarding the poor customer service at the St. Louis store. I was informed by the customer service representative that he also could not honor the 30% off price of the item but would escalate the issue to his supervisor and his supervisor would call me back. So far, I have not received a call from the customer service supervisor. This has been a very inconvenient, frustrating and stressful experience. I would like the issue resolved by allowing me to purchase the item for at least the 30% off sale price or even a larger discount due to the inconvenience and the poor customer service that I received.
