My boyfriend and I always have a great time at Trackside and it's one of our favorite date night spots! We are always warmly welcomed by the staff and Frank and Bobo, in particularly. Heather and Mary are so nice and hardworking, always making sure their customers are comfortable and happy even when the place is filled to the top. For example, on several occasions when the room is full and we eat dinner in the back, these ladies will save a table for us once one becomes available. They are always super attentive and always have a smile on their face! The food at Trackside is delicious. My usuals include their vodka pie, French fries, and brownie sundaes for dessert. At first I was hesitant to try the vodka pie since it wasn't from an Italian restaurant, but it exceeded my expectations!! Better than anywhere else! The prices are reasonable as well. The drinks are just as good and the bartenders, Michelle and Trish, make them nice and strong. Michelle and Trish work so hard, making sure everyone is attended to while at the same time catching up with their many "usuals". One strawberry margarita can give me a nice buzz. I tend to get their fruity drinks-Malibu bay breezes, margaritas-while my boyfriend is a wine connoisseur. There are always great bands playing on Friday and Saturday nights, both livening up the atmosphere and making everyone want to sing along. My favorite is American Cover Story. Went yesterday 7/12 during covid and we was told no seating inside when it was 90F outside. No one was around at the time we arrived. But then we were told that only sitting outside so we understood. But a when as we were leaving, there were couple of groups of people seating inside eating. We thought no people indoor? They are incredibly racist. However, I still made them serve my friend and I drinks. If you're white and looking for an all white bar, then this is your place to be. If you're Hispanic or black, just be aware that they're gonna give you attitude and ask dumb questions but it's their job to serve you, so do as you will with this information. It was the night time and I was in the mood for a meal. Me and my group of friends really wanted some "grill" food: wings, burgers, etc. So one of my friends pitched the idea of going to this establishment. Service was amazing with a very friendly atmosphere. Being a big yankee fan I was thrilled to see the game on the screen. However, I can't say the same about the food. The wings were decent but not great, and my friend who ordered a burger was severely disappointed. I have been to Trackside bar and grill numerous times since their grand opening. Some of the food items that I have enjoyed were their 1. Hot open roast beef platter. Excellent 2. Corn beef and cabbage sandwich. Delicious 3. Penne vodka (without peas) with grill chicken on top. Yummy As for the bar service they are all amazing mixologist. They also have a great selection of both tap and bottle beers. They have karaoke with Dj George on Thursday. He has a huge selection of music. There is also live entertainment on Friday and Saturday. Finally I can't wait for football season to start. With 11 televisions trackside is the place to view all sports. I highly recommend this new establishment in the heart of New Dorp. read more

What a great find here in the heart of new Dorp. We order at least twice weekly for lunch at my office and they have been providing exceptional dinners to my wife and I during the week. The Apple Salad is a must their Steak Sandwich was cooked to perfection and you can't go wrong g on any of the appetizers. Try the pretzels. The service was very good as well and for once it was old school on drinks with by backs. How refreshing this is the way you keep people coming back. if i could give zero stars i would. myself and my two other friends walked in on march 15th at 12pm looking for some drinks. when we walked in he looked annoyed to begin with, we're 3 hispanic girls and he checked our ids and he was obviously mad at us for no reason at all. we simply said hi. he threw my id at my chest. im extremely disappointed with the service here. i've never been treated this way, he told us to go somewhere else. we did absolutely nothing to be treated this way. read more

Went there for the first time last night. The waitress never put our order in and when she finally realized it, it was 30 minutes later. She came back to the table to ask us for our order again. Another 39 minutes and our food finally arrived. My friend is allergic to many foods and specifically asked for what she wanted and told the waitress what she could not eat due to food allergies. Guess what, the waitress gave her extra of what she couldn't have. Which by the way, there was an up charge for. The waitress was kind enough to remove the up charge for the food we DID NOT order. I went there with my wife on Saturday night Jan 13th to see my friends band play. We arrived at 8:30 sat right down. The band started at 9:15. We were done at that time because they rushed us. After we heard 3 songs a woman not the waitress came over to us and asked us to leave because they needed the table. I told them I wanted to see my friends band. She then came back to the table and told she had a reservation for the table. Clearly she was full of it. The place was a dumpy bar. Nobody would make a reservation.
