We use sea salt imported from italy instead of iodized salt in our pizza dough, enhancing the natural flavors without any additives. Za Bros Pizzeria is the result of a lifelong passion for real food and family tradition. Founded by brothers Ken and Vince Dailey, the journey began long before the doors opened in Woodhaven. Growing up in a large Italian family, Sundays were centered around the table—a tradition started by their grandparents who emigrated from Italy and opened their own pizzeria decades ago. In August 2024, Ken and Vince took over the local Andy’s Pizza location with a clear mission: to honor that heritage while modernizing the menu for today’s quality-conscious pizza lover. Rebranding as Za Bros allowed them to shift focus to their partnership and their commitment to "honest" pizza. You won't find carnival food or hot dogs here; instead, they focus on why they're here, pizza! Using a lighter, naturally fermented sourdough crust made without seed oils or added sugars they're proud to serve the community they grew up in, bringing a fresh, clean approach to the classic neighborhood pizza shop.

Meet the Business Owner: Ken and Vince D.

We grew up in a family where life happened around the dinner table, and some of our earliest memories are tied to the smells of our parent's pizzeria. After pursuring our own different careers for some time, we realized we wanted to build something of our own that honored those roots while offering something better for our community. My brother Vince and I took over this location in 2024 to launch Za Bros Pizzeria. Our goal is to bridge the gap between old-school tradition and modern health standards. We're obsessed with the craft of our naturally fermented sourdough and ensuring every ingredient we use—from the grass-fed butter on our crust to our seed-oil-free dough—is something we’d be proud to serve our own families. We’re Downriver locals through and through, and we love being able to see familiar faces every day at the shop.
