Very casual spot located at a gas station. It's a bit in the middle of an industrial looking area/ near Toronto Pearson Airport. They have 2 tables and a high top table if you wish to have a seat. Was with a friend, we had the following for takeout: 1) Garlic Bread $8 - Roasted Garlic with shredded mozzarella 2) Bruschetta $12 - Tomatoes, shallot, basil, shredded mozzarella 3) Spinach Salad $11 - Sun-dried tomatoes, mushroom, goat cheese, and balsamic vinegar on a bed of spinach. 4) Meat Lover - Tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, nduja, garlic, and basil The Spinach Salad was actually my favourite! It was quite good. I wasn't expecting it since this is a pizza place but the toppings for this were fresh and well seasoned. The Meat Lovers pizza was also nice but seeing how good they did their salad it makes me curious about their veggie options. lol. Rounding up from a 3.5! We thought about ordering pizza and I wanted to give this place a try instead of a chain. I'd never had it before and it had good reviews, and there happened to be a BOGO deal on UberEats. We got a spicy sausage za and stagioni, both 12" regulars. The spicy sausage za had tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, rapini, house sausage, and green chillies. I think the chillies are really what made it spicy. The bitterness of the rapini was a nice contrast. The stagioni had tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, olives, artichokes, prosciutto, and mushrooms. It said prosciutto "bits" on the menu but they were really slices. I found it on the saltier side because of the prosciutto and olives, and because it was a thinner pizza. We also ordered the Pick 3 Promo where we chose 3 different house-made sauces for a discounted price. We got the Italian bamba, garlic mayo, and preserved green chillies. I had never heard of "bamba" before but saw on Google that Trader Joe's has an Italian Bomba hot pepper sauce made with fermented crushed Calabrian chili peppers and I think it's the same. If so, I can see why people love it. Spicy and salty with a bit of that sourness. Definitely addictive! The preserved green chillies came in olive oil and were nice and spicy, spicier than the Italian bamba. The garlic mayo had a nice garlic flavour, creamy and not too mayo-ey. It was good pizza and I normally like Neapolitan-style, but because we got then for delivery, the pizzas were soggier in the middle because of how thin the crust was and the time it took to get to us, which also meant they weren't as hot. Would definitely recommend eating in or immediately after taking out. read more

Great slightly burnt crust on a decent pizza. Sauce was good, Olives not good at all. Good to order to have a change of pace over Pizza! Pizza! It's always nice to make an effort to support local businesses! read more

Finally found a great pizza place close to home! I ordered the mushroom pizza along with the garlic mayo & jalapeno mayo. I love truffles on thin crust mushroom pizza so it was a no brainer when I oredered it but there are other great choices. I can't wait to come back here and try the other items. read more

New pizza joint that we discovered and are LOVING! Food: delicious pizza selection! We tried the Mascarpone, Meat Lovers and Veal pizzas. Really delicious options and great variety. They also offer a TON of veg options so there is something for everyone. I was amazed that the meat was all fresh too. The Veal was freshly prepared and mushrooms were hand chopped....a lot of love goes into each pie. Huge fan of the Meat Lovers which is topped with a coriander sauce. SO GOOD I asked for it on the other pizza too. Only reco is if you get the Mascarpone Pizza, ask for it to be sliced AFTER the prosciutto goes on, otherwise it's a little tricky to eat since the meat is just layered on. Gelato: love that they serve gelato! Hands down, the Coffee Crisp is a must try. It had chunks of Coffee Crisp chocolate bar in it, with a smooth texture to the actual gelato. Service: friendly staff and clean environment. There is a seating available but they get a lunch time rush too. Great spot for take out or catering! I'm not sure how long Za Cafe has been around, but I am so bummed I never got to try this place out until only a few weeks ago. Missing great pizza in the Brampton area, I was on the hunt for solid wood oven pizza and these guys delivered (well, technically I went and picked it up) on all fronts. I realise that it's been close to a year since I had great pizza, so this 5 star review could be a little biased based on the fact that I'd been craving exactly what Za Cafe offers. I got their margherita and prosciutto pizzas and they were both really incredible! I would be very hard pressed to go the pizza pizza or other chain restaurant knowing that Za Cafe is so close to me and so much better! I haven't done too much digging but it seems that they often have deals on the food delivery apps too and I believe it's hard to go wrong with whatever you choose to go with. Not the most welcoming place to go and eat inside (not even sure if they offer that) since it's right in a gas station essentially, but fantastic for take out. read more

I hate to give this place a bad review but it really was a terrible experience. First, they didn't use gloves. I asked for a pizza being a vegetarian with just vegetables, no meat. My husband ordered a pizza with prosciutto which gets put on after it cooks. As we were sitting at the table, I watched the man behind the counter take tongs and pick prosciutto off one pizza and add it to the other. I knew he had put it on the wrong pizza and wasn't going to tell us. Sure enough he delivered it to us with no mention. As I picked through the pizza I saw prosciutto slices all mixed in with my veggies. I had to scrape the pizza down to the dough or not eat at all. Finally, we ended up so ill from the pizza I couldn't sleep a wink, my husband was likewise very ill and we had to go home from our trip early. Sorry, but I can't recommend this place. read more

This place is amazing! Their pizza is fantastic -- especially considering it only takes 90seconds to cook in their oven. Lots of great options for specialty pizzas and you can even make your own. The paninis are essentially like a Calzone -- they fold the pizza over and cook it on both sides. Delicious topping choices and friendly service. My only recommendation would be to serve "stay-in" meals on metal trays rather than wasting an entire takeout pizza box. Check this place out if you are in the are! read more

Stone and wood oven pizza restaurants are opening everywhere. The competition is huge and everyone advertises that their pizza is authentic Italian. Being Italian I can tell you that I have not found a place that is even close to having the pizza from Italy. Until now... Something about Za Cafe Pizzeria reminds me of the true Italian taste. I found Za by mistake one day during lunch and I hadn't had a decent pizza in a while so I decided to try it. I ordered the classic Margarita pizza but decided to add fresh prosciutto to it as well. When I received the pizza I was quite impressed. This pizza was cooked to perfection. Paper thin as it should be yet crispy at the same time. The crust was puffy and crispy as well. You could smell the freshness of the tomato sauce. Upon my first bite it brought back the memories of eating pizza in Italy. Fresh sauce, fresh mozzarella and the basil pesto. Great job Za. You have certainly gained a frequent flyer LOL. read more

Just went there for the first time today. Got the meat lovers. Fast delicious will definitely be returning. All the toppings are laid out fresh and they make it and bake it right in front of you really fast. Was a little put out by the gas station parking lot location.
