Sweet undertone and overcooked noodles. Wasn't my favorite drunken noodle dish. I ate the tofu and left the rest.

Ordered tom yum kha soup that was very delicious and generous serving. Unfortunately my Drunken noodles tofu had an unpleasant sweetness and the noodles were overcooked and mushy. I ate the tofu and left the rest; usually at restaurants that's my go to dish but I wouldn't have it here again. Maybe the rice dishes would be better. Kind service, nice atmosphere. Odd 1960-70's soundtrack.

My husband and I went to Zaab Real Thai last night on western ave and the service and food was exceptional. For appetizer we got the Thai dumplings which I thought were good but my husband loved them. For dinner I got the red curry with chicken 10/10. I make my own at home and just as good could be a little spicier but I love heat. Husband got the basil fried rice with chicken and said it was very good 10/10.

    Crispy Duck Salad

This is a great Thai place and I'm excited to keep trying their dishes. Today the duck salad, ordered mild, was a bit too spicy for my taste but the duck is plentiful and delicious. The steamed dumplings are a huge win. Hubby's lunch of Thai fried rice did not disappoint and the spring rolls are yummy.

Absolutely divine Pumpkin curry, jasmine rice and in the background coconut rice.

Wow! An authentic Thai restaurant right here in Guilderland! My daughter and I had dinner at Zaab Real Thai this week Monday and it was such a delight! Patrick, our host, was friendly and welcoming, and helped us with items on the menu. I had the pumpkin curry, which was absolutely divine! It was a very generous portion, and I had it as dinner the next night at home as well! It was seasoned just right; and as a vegetarian, I so appreciated all the wonderful fresh and perfectly cooked vegetables in it! I had it with Jasmine rice which was also cooked just right! My daughter had the mango curry and she loved it as well! She had it with the brown coconut rice, which had a delightful taste to it. For dessert, she had the coconut pudding, and I had the fried ice cream, and we were both very happy with our choices - both soooo delicious! The atmosphere was lovely - cozy, comfortable, and tastefully decorated; and our items were fairly priced. I told my husband about it when I got home, and we are looking forward to going there this evening for dinner! It reminds me of a restaurant I ate at in New York City, called May Kaidee, which also has very authentic Thai food. If you like Thai food, you will be very happy with Zaab Real Thai! Thank you to the chef and kitchen workers and to Patrick for making it a wonderful, delicious experience!

This place is small and cozy and unique (owners are a couple where the wife is showcasing her Thai heritage and the husband his Mexican heritage which is pretty cool). My husband said his burrito was the best he's had in the area because it was grilled nicely, the salsa had some good heat and was so fresh tasting. We will definitely return soon to try some of their Thai menu offerings.

We decided to give it a try. It is a rather small restaurant but pleasant inside. We were immediately greeted by a very friendly woman who I inferred was the owner. We perused the menu and, of course, I ordered a chicken burrito. My wife ordered a cheese burrito - giving in to my "why not get a burrito" suggestion. It took a few minutes- not long- for our food to arrive. It is made to order and not just sitting around. The burritos arrived hot and the filling was plentiful. Several times the owner came over to ask if everything was ok and to see if we had any additional requirements. She was extremely friendly. Although I was totally full after downing my hefty burrito I ordered churros for dessert. They arrived with whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant. The only difference I will consider on my next visit will be the possibility of carrying me to my car - since it is highly likely that I will overstuff myself self again! PS: this restaurant also offers Thai cuisine and we overheard other diners remarking how good their Thai dishes were.

I read the Yelp reviews and put Jasmine Thai on my list. Glad I did. The main menu is clearly organized and easy to understand which is always a good thing. There were separate menus for Desserts and for Beverages. We shared the Calamari ($8.) as an appetizer. It was not fried and breaded but served with a mildly spiced sauce with tiny peanut pieces. Excellent! Beautiful presentation! The gracious attentive hostess/server helped me select Jasmine Eggplant with noodles & Chicken. She told me some customers come for that dish. Wow! Pieces of tender savory eggplant and chicken in a richly flavored sauce. Eggplant was the star! I asked for ginger, and I was heard. My grandson had Drunken Noodles with chicken. He liked it, but he liked my dish better. We shared each dish. Yum! I gasped when I got the check. Each lunch was only $10. which is incredible for the quality! The restaurant has many tables and booths. Strong points: Excellent service Creative presentations of food, garnishes Clean Colorful, ethic looking tablecloths under glass Parking in front and on side I look forward to returning for lunch or for dinner. We would like to try the Duck, soups, and desserts.

You'll definitely see and hear everyone. It's all open and pretty squeezed together. It's not bad, you just need to be prepared. This isn't a fine dining restaurant. It's a really nice to go place that will also put the food on plates so you can stay and eat it inside. The sushi is generous and delicious. We like to sit at the bar and watch the guy make it right there. The drunken noodles and Spicy chicken pad Thai are good. I feel that the Rama garden is underwhelming. The chicken seems precooked and blah with a peanut sauce poured over it. Watch out if you order any dish as "spicy" they'll just dump crushed red pepper on your order after it's cooked. The staff are amazing. They're always happy, accommodating, and very attentive. It's really clear that they care. We go here a couple times per month. I've never been disappointed. We were told when we went to pick up, that the phone line is on the same line as the credit card machine, which is why the calls kept going right to voicemail. I love a good Thai curry, and went for the Red Curry with Tofu ("Thai curry prepared with green beans, zucchini, red & green peppers, peas and basil in red curry coconut milk sauce. Spicy.") We ordered for dinner, and my meal was $14 and came with a scoop of rice. I was a bit unimpressed with the sauce, which seemed a little watery, and I would definitely describe it as watered down. I think it would have been much more flavorful if it was thicker or more concentrated. The menu also says this dish is spicy, but I only detected a little bit of heat to it. Normally I find myself needing rice to go with curry, but this was not the case. There was some fried eggplant in the curry, which was fantastic, but the green beans seemed undercooked and overall, I was underwhelmed. (I get some very flavorful and delicious Thai Red Curry with tofu for almost half the price at the Chinese place up the road, so I was disappointed with both the food and the portion). My husband ordered the Pad See Ew, a Thai standard that he has enjoyed many times over the years at different establishments. We both tried this and agreed that like my dish, this was also a bit bland. The menu has a lot of choices on it, and I hope that the issues we had were simply an issue of this restaurant getting their bearings, but I don't see us ordering in the near future.
