They do put some sauce on the shawarma, which we will ask them to hold next time because the chicken is so flavorful it doesn't need the sauce. The chicken shawarma plate was generously portioned. The hummus appetizer was delicious and the pita was yummy. Came by for dinner the other night and we enjoyed every bit of our meals. I ordered the kafta kebab, and my buddy had the shawarma... yum!!! Husband and I came here for a late lunch on a Friday, it was not so busy, there was another table that came later and a few to-go orders. The ambiance is relaxed and comfortable. The food here is Lebanese (I was curious because I feel Mediterranean food is a broad term that gets used widely and I wanted to be better educated about this wide category). Second visit here. Still great as before. This time we tried the shish taouk and the lamb shish kebab. Hummus is really creamy, rice is good as well and the meat is very tender and well seasoned. We were sitting near the kitchen and to hear the cook ans the waitress fight and argue over orders was unpleasant. Apparently he cooked the wrong dish. The lentil soup was awful. Super salty and watery. What a waste of $8! My meat plate was dry with dry meat and dry rice and just a horrible bitter lemon salad. Just plain horrible. Zadna Grill, on the other hand, is a sit-down restaurant specializing specifically in Lebanese cuisine. Their menu has a broad variety of items that extend beyond "standard" mediterranean restaurant fare. I was in the mood for something light, flavorful, and satisfying, and boy did Zadna Grill deliver. I ordered: Lentil soup - tasty, could have used a pinch extra of salt, but a squeeze of the lemon that came with the bowl was the perfect addition Rokka salad, with an add-on of grilled prawns - these prawns were possibly the tastiest shrimp I've had anywhere, perfectly seasoned with flavorful spices and cooked until succulent (and not overdone) -the hot sauce and garlic sauce offered with the shrimp were also fantastic -the rokka salad was simple and flavorful, tossed with brightly flavored sumac, red onions, and lemon, exactly what I was feeling like The woman next to me was raving about pumpkin kibbeh, which I had also considered ordering. I'll have to try it next time! The current owners opened about 9 months ago. Generous portions and good food. Came here for a weekend takeout lunch and ordered the chicken shawarma wrap, lamb kofta wrap and a side of garlic fries. The menu may seem on the pricier side but when we got the food we understood why, the wraps were huge and fries were overflowing from the box. If you're not a big eater I think you could actually share a wrap with a side between two people. Food came out promptly and ingredients tasted like they were high quality. Each wrap came with a side of toom and hot sauce. My chicken shawarma wrap was different than I was expecting in that the chicken was covered in sauce. Nothing too exciting. Service was fine until they dropped off the food. Then they disappeared into the back. Never got a water refill afterwards. One other patron stood up to try to get their notice.
