Instead of Kofta, they accidentally gave me a saffron mushroom kebab. I was disappointed about it because I looked forward to the kofta. I had already left before I had a chance to open and eat. The chicken was nice and tender and even though I don't like mushroom it was still exceptional. I was angrily eating it lol. Rice was perfect and all the sauces were really good. Been coming to Mazra since 2020 and will continue to travel near & far to eat their food. (This included treking to Redwood City when the San Bruno location was under construction.) My favorite items include the roasted cauliflower and chicken wraps. They also offer a complimentary hot tea, which is very soothing in colder months. Parking is difficult at this location as there are less than 10 spots total between the front and back lots. Love the new renovation as there are now large, shaded, front outdoor tables available. The inside looks fairly similar, but definitely different than in 2020/2021. Service is cordial. My most recent visit, I felt the staff was "rushing" our large group of 10 out the door even though we barely finished eating and we arrived upon opening and it wasn't crowded. I came here on weekend evening for dinner. We ordered various items to try and they were all delicious. We ordered the chicken shawarma plate, lamb chop plate, double kebab plate, and a side of fries. For the plates they come with rice, pita, house pickles and your choice of two sides. Since we had three entrees, we tried a variety of sides they had available. For sides we got: hummus, babaganoush, muhammara, roasted red beet dip, tabbouleh salad and arabi salad. All the sides were delicious. For the plates, the chicken shawarma plate came with a large portion of chicken that was thinly sliced. Very good flavor and went nicely with their garlic toum. Oh we are so back!!! I LOVE this restaurant so much! I'm so happy they finally reopened. My only gripe was that we used to have to dight for a table and it seamed pretty hectic. However, since the reopening, they have fixed that issue. This does mean a longer wait to get seated and order your food, but honestly 100% worth it. You no longer have to squeeze between two parties or race to the next open table. The food is just as good as before. The whole cauliflower is a MUST TRY. My family shared the BBQ deluxe kebab pack and the dip trio appetizer, which were more than enough food for us with leftovers to take home! Everything was fantastic. Meats were perfectly cooked, tender, and nicely seasoned. Lamb was the standout! Every dip in the trio was delicious, especially the roasted beet. The garlic potatoes side were just as addictive as ever and remain one of my favorite sides here. If I have to note one thing, it's that the parking lot is tiny so you'll probably have a better shot parking in the street/neighborhood.
