Very nice place with excellent food! I came here on a Sunday evening for a table for two and waited about 15 min to be seated. It was my first time here and I was surprised by how filling the meals were and how quick the service was. I appreciate the self-serve water/tea and ordering system, allowing you to place your order on your phone or at the outside window whenever you are ready. I got the dip trio with cucumber and yogurt, tzatziki and baba ghanoush. I wasn't the biggest fan of the baba ghanoush but I loved the tzatziki. It came with three large pita breads. The chicken shawarma plate was also packed with flavor. With so much pita in me already I could only eat half and was able to take home leftovers. My partner had the steak street wrap and the meat was very tender and flavorful. I would order both again but would love to try other menu items. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great ambiance for a nice dinner and amazing food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking is the only difficulty, but we were able to find a spot in the residential area a block away.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor patio has plenty of shaded tables, making it a comfortable spot to dine.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ordering is done through a QR code, and food is brought to the table. They also offer self-service cold water and hot tea stations inside and outside, which is a nice touch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, the atmosphere is relaxed and casual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the Double Kebab Plate with filet mignon and lamb kebab (filet mignon add $2), along with French fries and garlic potatoes. We also tried the Falafel Mezza Sampler, which came with six falafel, six dips (hummus, tzatziki, baba ghanoush, roasted beet, muhammara, and cucumber yogurt), and three pita breads. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. Both the filet mignon and lamb kebab were dry and overcooked, and the portion of meat was quite small for the price. The rice was overly soft and lacked texture, as if it had absorbed too much water or been sitting for a while. We only took a small bite before leaving the rest untouched. The falafel was also overcooked and dry, and the size was small compared with another place. The highlight of the meal was the dips, especially the muhammara and cucumber yogurt, which were flavorful, while the rest were just okay. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space itself is clean, spacious, and pleasant, but the food did not live up to expectations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I really wanted to like it, but the quality was inconsistent and underwhelming for the price. I'm so glad this place is open again! It had been a couple of years since my last visit and I'm happy to say that the food quality and service are still just as exceptional as I remembered. Mazra is incredibly popular and for good reason.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My family of 4 waited about 30-ish minutes to be seated at around 6:30pm. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating but I also noticed a steady stream of takeout orders, which is probably the way to go since the restaurant can get pretty lively and loud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My family shared the BBQ deluxe kebab pack and the dip trio appetizer, which were more than enough food for us with leftovers to take home! Everything was fantastic. Meats were perfectly cooked, tender, and nicely seasoned. Lamb was the standout! Every dip in the trio was delicious, especially the roasted beet. The garlic potatoes side were just as addictive as ever and remain one of my favorite sides here. If I have to note one thing, it's that the parking lot is tiny so you'll probably have a better shot parking in the street/neighborhood. Otherwise, everything from the food to the service was amazing and I'll happily keep coming back to my all-time favorite Mediterranean restaurant.

I've been meaning to come to this place for the last 6 months or so but for one reason or another I was never able to make it until now and wow- it was 100 percent worth the wait. When you keep hearing buzz about a place and everyone you ask who's been to that place has nothing but good things to say, naturally your expectations are going to be very high, and even with high expectations Mazra still impressed me. The amount of food you get is more than generous, they have a self-serve water and tea station, the service is great, [[HIGHLIGHT]]ambiance is beautiful[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and the most important thing of course: the food was excellent. Truly a Bay Area diamond. One of the best restaurants I've been to

Most importantly, the food was outstanding. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The portion sizes were huge and definitely memorable; our entire group ended up taking home to-go boxes. This was one of those meals where you're already planning your next visit before you leave. I can't wait to come back and work my way through the rest of the menu. Highly recommend!
We had been wanting to come here for the longest time but couldn't get down to San Bruno. Once we finally did, we realized we should have made the journey so much earlier. The service throughout the meal was great and everyone just made you feel welcome. The decor and ambiance also make it feel like you're on vacation, with small touches that transport you. Plus the smells of the delicious food don't hurt either. We started with the Halloumi Cheese Roll which was a nice switch-up on texture. It could have used a bit more flavor but the crunch mixed with the cheese was a very good start. We also had the Tzatziki, the hummus, the tabbouleh salad, house pickles and the garlic potatoes as our various sides all which was very good. Everything packs a punch of flavor and goes super well with the warm soft pita. Also a super star for me personally was the mushroom skweres. Id never had that before but was a huge fan. Finally the mint lemonade is also SO FREAKIN GOOD. 100% can't wait to go back!!
My friend ordered us takeout and I got the chicken shwarma wrap and added the hummus dip! It was really good! I just wished they added more of the pickle inside. It also came with some spicy sauce and white sauce. And I used all of the sauces include the hummus. If you like more flavor, I would suggest to order an extra drip on the side. It was very filling. I'm giving a 4 star instead of a 5 because it was very oily. The oil dripped through the box and onto the counter. If you're eating this on your lap, the oil may drip through onto you as well. Other than that, I would definitely eat here again!
This spot lives up to the hype. The plates are beautiful and delicious. The hummus, tzatziki, and toum dips are super flavorful. The pita bread is piping hot and fresh. The shawarma loaded fries are so loaded with meat, sauce, and condiments. Must try-shawarma chicken, kofta kabobs, roast potatoes, and hummus.

I'm now a fan of Mediterranean food. The food was fantastic. I rarely eat lamb but we ordered the lamb shank to try it and it was amazingly tender and delicious. It wasn't gamy at all. The branzino was seasoned perfectly, it was excellent. The muhammara dip was amazing. We ordered the whole garlic rotisserie chicken. It was seasoned well but not as juicy considering I had the leg quarter. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was warm and inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This restaurant is highly recommended. read more
Amazing and busy Mediterranean spot! Ordered via QR code or you can order at their window once seated. Self serve water and tea station. Restaurant smells great and you can see them prep the food. Started with the mint lemonade which was very mint heavy but refreshing. The banana date shake tasted mostly like banana. The halloumi cheese roll was great. Crispy outside with gooey cheese in the middle topped with some honey. The falafel mezza sampler was perfect for our first time here. Came in a star shape with beautiful colors. My favorite was the Muhammara due to the walnut flavor and texture. The tzatziki was also solid. Falafel was crispy and soft inside. The double kebab plate I had came with ground kofta and filet mignon. Both had a great grill/bbq flavor. Seasoned well and the spicy sauce made it even better with the rice. Loved the whole grilled onion on it. Parking is bad here and you'd have to find parking in the neighborhood streets but would come back here to try more of their stuff. read more

Man, what a journey! I found about Mazra 5 years ago, Specifically their first location, from a friend who's mother knew the owner. Fresh out of Highschool, we would get the the Sharma and fries and the rest was history. 5 years later, I've put my whole family and all of my friends on to this place and they love it, and I'm still going. This time, I finally got the Kebab platter, I usually get the roasted chicken but we wanted to switch it up. The Lamb kebabs specifically won a place in my heart, tender, flavorful, and juicy. The Falafel Mezza Platter comes with all these dips such as Hummus, Tzatiki, Muhammara, Roasted Beet dip, and a refreshing Roasted Beet dip. All of which looks so pretty with a flavor to match The restaurant looks beautiful with the middle eastern and Mediterranean themes. The service is always good with the folks at mazra always making sure we get what we need. The pricing over here is amazing as all the food is sharable with perfect portioning. I really feel like me and my family can bond and joke around when eating the food as if the food style promotes that kind of engagement. Parking is a little bit harder over here just because it is in a busier area but not too much of a problem and I will always find a way for mazra. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I like the format of the restaurant since it reminds me of Nandos. Kinda fancy but not really.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The kebabs were fresh and juicy. The dibs were tasty. Only negative comment is that they should really sell a smaller portion for the cauliflower. read more

Boys are back in town. Welcome back, and after visiting the remodel, it was worth the wait. [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the front-to-back area to the indoor and outdoor spaces, you get very positive and delicious vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Gia is kind and friendly, and we loved the new ordering system. No more long lines when ordering your food. I remembered long discussions on the side among the family and friends. Lol Everything looks good on the menu, except I miss my Brussels sprouts appetizer. But we tried fried olives with Harissa sauce, omg so so good. Chicken shawarma, combo kabobs, and roasted chicken; everything was served fresh and warm. Our server was very efficient, but actually, everyone around was kind enough to stop by and help us. I mean, everyone who was not even serving our table was awesome. Where did you find these angel workers? Drinks were good, and the tea had a strong cinnamon flavor but was not bad. We did miss seeing Saif and Jordan, but everyone was so kind, so it was ok. Love to see you all next time. Let's talk about Parking. That doesn't change, and I get it. Even though we went at 4pm for dinner, there was no parking. I found a parking space in the back, where I used to park when this was Green Valley Market. So many memories with this location. Congratulations and thank you again. Perfection. You can't fault anything. I've been waiting for them to reopen and it was definitely worth the wait! The new remodel is stunning - it felt like Scottsdale vibes I tried the Halloumi Cheese Roll appetizer and loved. My go to order is the Chicken Shawarma Plate that comes with your choice of two sides and pita bread. The chicken is perfectly seasoned and grilled. The delightful smell of the grill that you smell when you are walking in? You can actually taste it in the meat!! The rice is amazing and I can never get enough of the garlic toum and hot sauce that it comes with. The problem is picking the sides! I love the Arabic salad, tabbouleh, which both add such a refreshing taste to the plate but I also love the hummus for the pita that it comes with and the tzatziki is a must. The fries are also so crispy and good!! The price is so decent for the amount you get - one plate usually equals 2-3 meals for me. Their system is genius. You can order through a QR code when you get to your table and they have everything you need on the side (water, complimentary tea, utensils and take-out supplies) but they also have servers walking around checking in and taking your plates so it doesn't feel like a completely self-serve experience. I really like the cleanliness and atmosphere of the restaurant. It's definitely a nicer looking establishment. I came on a Wednesday night around 7 pm and there was about a 30 minute wait for a table of two. They provide warm tea while you wait, which is nice because it's usually cold and windy in San Bruno. You place your order with a QR code and they have several areas where you can get water and utensils yourself. It's a bit hard to flag someone down but not impossible. The food was good and I'd come back. read more

Why did I not try this place sooner? I always pass by this place but never thought to give it a try. I was getting lunch with a friend on a Friday and he suggested this place. The restaurant was pretty packed for a Friday afternoon! There was even a little line out the door. We ordered a bunch of random things and all of it tasted great! The service was a hit or miss depending on who came by. read more
The food was absolutely outstanding--every bite was bursting with incredible flavor. I ordered the Steak Shawarma Plate, and the portion size was very generous, offering excellent value for the price. The quality, taste, and presentation exceeded my expectations. San Bruno has sorely needed a place like this! Free hot spiced tea while you wait, coupled with all the Mediterranean options you can handle! Very veggie friendly and delicious. Make sure to try out their signature drinks as well! Great for friend dinners, corporate events, or date night. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Excellent service and very dog-friendly![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We came here for a doggy playdate and absolutely loved the atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is beautiful, with plants everywhere, and it's clean and self-serve, which made the experience easy and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We shared a family meal, and everything was delicious. The chicken was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the garlic dip was my absolute favorite. Even the rice was surprisingly good. The portions were huge, we ended up taking most of our food home because there was just so much of it. The only downside is that parking can be a bit difficult to find, so keep that in mind before visiting. What a great reopening worth waiting for. There are two parking lots. One by San Bruno Av at the front of the building, and a second parking lot in the back of the building. There's an hostess by the front entrance who will lead you to an available table. The exterior & interior are both very welcoming now. There are two ways to order - either up at the counter or via the QR code. Our friends placed it up front. We placed it using the QR. Their food came first. Then ours. We ordered- * hubby not very hungry. He got the chicken wings. Just enough to satisfy his appetite. * I got the chicken shawarma. My two sides - the roasted beet dip and fries. Comes with pita bread. A very generous meal. * hubby got the banana date shake. That was very good. Thick. Used a boba straw to slurp it. We stayed two hours catching up having arrived at 11:30am Thursday. Dirty dishes cleared off as needed. There are two beverage stations where you can fetch water and hot tea. Now I don't need to travel down to Redwood City for great Mediterranean food. read more
We tried Mazra for the first time after hearing so many good things, and honestly the first attempt didn't even work out. The electricity went out while we were ordering, so we had to leave without getting anything. We ended up coming back the next day because we really wanted to try it. I'm glad we did because the dips were so good--definitely the best part. Super fresh, really flavorful, exactly what I was hoping for. The drink we got was really good too. We also got the grilled veg bowl with oyster mushrooms, rice, falafel, and cauliflower. It was fine, but I feel like it could've used a little more flavor. It just didn't stand out as much as the dips. The restaurant itself was very cute but very busy. I would come back, but I wouldn't order that bowl again. I'd stick to the dips and try something else next time. read more

Mazra has flawless food! The chicken breast kebab was so tender and delicious. The oyster mushrooms kebab was flavored perfectly. The hummus had a great texture, but could have used a little more olive oil on top. Beautiful pita. The filo wrapped halloumi with herbs was really tasty and had great texture. The ambiance is really cute and comfortable. Everything looks like you're seating in the garden, even when you're indoors. The service at Mazra needs some help, we waited about 15 minutes for a table. Once seated we ordered through an app, and waited another 20+ minutes for just a drink. The food took even longer to arrive. It took over an hour to resolve a missing dish, they were very short on waiters but had a lot of bussers. I am hoping this bad service was because it was opening weekend and they were extra busy. read more
I absolutely love Mazra! Halloumi is my favorite, so the halloumi wrap is a must for me. You can add on fries, which are delicious, and garlic sauce is also available as an add-on (it comes standard with the plates). The plates are a ton of food (basically two meals) so they're probably the best value on the menu. Both the wraps and plates come with a spicy red sauce, which is equally delicious. The service is incredibly fast too. You can order via QR code or walk up to place your order in person. They also have a self-serve station for packing your food and grabbing complimentary tea! Mazra never lets me down. First time visiting since the renovation and the place is a beauty. The food is always delicious here! Got the lamb chop plate which comes with a bed of rice along with 2 sides of your choice. For my sides, I got the garlic potatoes and Arabic salad. The garlic potatoes were garlicky in the best way possible and the Arabic salad was refreshing. The lamb chops were nice and tender. Had the raspberry lemonade and it was so refreshing, the mint sprig was a nice touch. Definitely one of my fav Mediterranean food spots in the bay area! read more
Mazra continues to be a favorite for a reason! We ordered the Double Kebab Plate and the Beef Shawarma Plate, and the quality was top-notch. Every meat was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. For our sides, we ordered the hummus, baba ghannoush, olives, and the roasted beet dip (they used to have the muhammara dip which I think was the best but they took it off the menu) . The dips are light and fresh, and pairing the plates with their signature butter garlic and chili sauces is a must! To wash it all down, the melon and pineapple drink was incredibly refreshing and clearly made with fresh fruit. Tip: It's a very popular spot, so even with the large seating area, be prepared for a bit of a wait. It is absolutely worth it! read more
I recently checked out Mazra after they reopened, and overall it was a good experience. When we arrived, we were quoted about a 40-minute wait for a table of 5, but surprisingly we were seated in just 15 minutes. You can add your name to the waitlist when you get there, which was super easy. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, which is a nice option depending on your vibe. A few things to know: water and tea are self-serve in the back, and ordering/payment is done through a QR code at the table. We initially had trouble placing our order, but realized it was due to poor cell service inside. They do offer free WiFi though. I definitely recommend connecting right away to avoid any hassle. Even though the place was pretty busy, all our food came out at the same time, which was impressive. We ordered the whole cauliflower and the falafel mezza sampler for the table, both were really delicious. The mint lemonade was super refreshing, and the banana date shake was pretty good too. Parking-wise, they have two lots, but they fill up quickly. There is also street parking nearby if needed. read more

A little bit chaotic at 7pm on a Sunday, there are four different lines: one to order take out, one to pick up takeout, one to get in the waitlist, and one for once you have a spot (note that this line doesn't move in order, so be assertive if you for a text about your seat, because there might be folks standing there in line because they are expecting to get their text soon!!). The hosts were very kind, accommodating, and friendly! Once you are seated, you either order with a cashier or order on your phone using the QR code. We're so happy that Mazra is finally open again! We waited what felt like forever; honestly, maybe a year or two for them to reopen, and it was definitely worth it. When we arrived on a Saturday evening, the place was packed, with lots of people waiting outside to be seated. Despite that, the wait time for our party of three was only about 30 minutes, which wasn't bad at all considering how busy it was. The restaurant is newly renovated, looks absolutely beautiful inside, fresh, modern, and very welcoming. For dinner, my husband got the lamb chops, and I got the chicken and beef kebab plate to share with my son. All were very tender and flavorful, just as delicious as we remembered, if not even better this time around. Even my son loved it! The prices are fair for the portion sizes and quality of the food. Parking is a bit limited with a few spaces in the front and street parking. Customer service was great, friendly and fast. They also have outdoor seating, which is a great option. Marza finally reopened, and while I was excited to be back, the experience was a bit mixed. Parking is still rough, but we got lucky and didn't have to wait for a table. The setup is mostly self service, so you grab your own water, complimentary cinnamon tea, small plates, and to go boxes. That part is fine, but the actual service felt pretty disorganized. Food came out at different times, some dishes were wrong or went to the wrong people, and my friend waited a long time for her pita bread. I had to flag down a couple of staff just to get it. Overall, there wasn't much attention to detail or customer care. The food itself was good though. Quality and portions were both solid, which is what Marza is known for. I'd come back for the food, but given how the service was on my first dine in experience, I'd probably just order takeout next time. read more

Regarding the family pack it all depends how you eat and if they are all adults. For sure 4 adults will be satisfied. It's a little bigger. Not spicy and amazing food :)
