We have always trusted and used Zagg because of their lifetime warranty, and because my wife may have a slight propensity to dropping her phone... Whenever we've gone to a Zagg retailer before, they are more than happy to replace her screen under warranty. So we go to this franchised Zagg retailer in the Tacoma Mall and are told that it's going to be $15 with tax to replace her screen! Apparently if we'd purchased the screen from their particular business, it would only be the $6 + tax! It's a lifetime warranty!!! I called Zagg corporate and explained the situation and they first apologized for my bad experience and then sent me a replacement screen. Because of my experience with this shanty stand they even waived the $5.99 shipping fee! Went into the Zaggs Kiosk today to get my shield redone. Brede was very accommodating. The customer ahead of me was being rude beyond belief and had obviously broke her screen and just wanted a new one without paying the mandatory $10 fee for installation. She pointed out the crack and the lady got a bit confrontational. Employee remained cool, calm, and collected. The lady was just rude. Brede was nice to us and replaced my screen. I had to pay a little extra because I didn't know I had to return the original glass . My bad.....I took it off because I dropped it several times and the shatter was affecting my touch capabilities on my iPhone XMax. She was also pleasant and empathetic to my headache pain and offered Motrin. Thanks so much. read more

This place has gone to crap. I used to buy all me devices shields (about 12 devices in the last 2 years and countless referrals to friends), now I will just go to the corporate website. I wanted to get my "free" warranty, I was told they were out and I could get for free from the website. No such luck, they charge you shipping on a piece of plastic! Not a bad company. But it's getting two stars because I preordered privacy glass for $50. The sales man said will have the glass within 7 to 10 business days and I placed the order on 09/26/15. Went back to the store two weeks later, gal said their shipping normally takes 10 to 15 business days. Called on 10/16/15 apparently, they don't know where my privacy glass went and came to get my refund instead. I've been with them for 2 years now from little plastic screen to glass. But I guess I gotta find somewhere else that can give me better service read more

Zagg's product is great, but their customer service drove me away. I purchased the Zagg HD protectors for my iPad at the Silverdale location a couple of years ago and went to the Tacoma location with my receipt to finally replace the damaged pieces- they were falling off and had bubbles from use. They told me the only way I could get the protectors was if I paid the $15 installation fee, which I thought was odd because Zagg offers a lifetime guarantee. I was happy with the product and opted to pay the $15 thinking that maybe their policy had changed. I watched as two workers removed and reapplied the product five times because of various issues and it took 1 hour longer than promised. After finally getting my iPad home and allowing it to dry, the edges were peeling off and there was a distracting amount of lint under the screen protector (no surprise there). I brought my iPad back 6 days later to have them reapply new film. This time, I dropped it off for 2 hours while running other errands. When I came back, they had the same problems with the edges peeling up and were still not done. The worker informed me that the glass works really well and applies instantly, so I decided it was best to upgrade. This time, they did not charge me an installation fee. When asked, the worker informed me I should not have previously been charged for installation and they should have just given me the screen protectors. I requested a refund and he claimed there was no way he could give me one, despite his own admission that I should never have paid in the first place. I rationalized this by associating the installation fee with the new glass protector. Unfortunately, the glass proved to have the same problems with excessive lint and the edges peeling up. After verifying that I should not have paid the installation fee according to Zagg's policy, I went back to return the glass and get a full refund. They refused to refund the installation fee, even though the Zagg kiosk effectively installed nothing because the screen protectors were defective both times. Three trips to the mall and $15 for nothing. Save your time and money and buy through a different company! read more

Please be aware, the Invisible Shield Glass, product installed on your device WILL NOT replace your screen if the device's screen breaks. It is a waste of $34 After noticing my screen had a crack in it, without dropping my iPhone 6, I went to Apple, Verizon, and Zagg...with very little resolve. Zagg does not replace the device screen. They'll replace their protective screen that you paid $34 for. Apple will charge $120 Verizon $199 deductible FML! Don't waste your money on Zagg. read more

Tried getting my old screen replaced, since the ZAGG Screens are suppose to come with a life time warranty that it wont scratch....well it happened anyways. So I went to that stand, had my screen even registered online at the website from ZAGG, wanted to get it replaced (since its also just 6 month old). Well first thing that I was not happy about is that since the guy wasnt able to see the scratches right away, clear screen on white paper, really??? I got asked if the scratches looked like they have been scratched in with a fork( SERIOUSLY ?!). When I told him they do not, I put the old screen on the ache of the card swiper, which was black and made the scratches more visible. Afterwards I got told that maybe I wanna update to the glass screen, which would have costed me another 20$ extra. Thought the 40$ for a HD screen that was suppose to be self-healing would be enough money already. Due to that fact I denied the offer. Sales Men! Since I was happy with my screen so far I thought I could just get the replacement there, but that wasnt the case. The guy immediately told me I would have to spent 7$ now for a new screen. When I asked him why, he sad it was to put the new screen on and if I want it for free I would have to go to the ZAGG website and order the replacement there. Since at this point I did not wanted to give this guy any money for his terrible costumer service I went home and ordered the replacement online, without any further trouble. I purchased the Glass line for my iPhone 6+ on 01/31/15, as of today 02/21/15, there are still air bubbles present on the back of my phone. I took it back with my receipt to have it replaced thinking there would be no issues. I was told it will cost me $8.00 to do the installation. WTF? Why should I pay an install fee because of a half ass job was done or a defective product? The ASSociate claimed he could not wave the install fee and told me to talk to the manager who was off. I have a Note 8. The curved glass covers don't work well for me, so I sought out an Invisishield installer. First gal was kind, but seemed to be struggling. Ended up with bits sealed between the shield and my phone. Wouldn't have fussed, but it was RIGHT in my sight when I read my books - which I do every night. Took it back (my schedule meant this was 3 days later.) This second gal had the attention span of a goldfish. She had ripped the cover off before I finished explaining my issue. She told me there woukd be no charge to replace it. She destroyed 2 new covers before getting to the point of using solution. I assumed my presence was making her nevous, so I stepped into a side store to give her space to work. I came back about 10 min later and she was working with another unsatisfied customer (she ripped his cover off before verifying she had a replacement - and did not, so jow he had to settle for something he did not want). I waited patiently until there was a break to ask about my phone. She charged me $11 after telling me there would be no charge. And when I got home and had a chance to get a good look at it - she made it WORSE! Now there were 3 pices of what looked like sweater fuzz stuck in the view area! These people do NOT care about their end results. I gave up. I ordered the IQ shield off Amazon, installed it myself with ONE attempt and no issues - and got 2 protectors for kess than $8...after spending nearly $45 at the mall kiosk for crappy results. Better to do it yourself, folks! I went to the kiosk at Southcenter Mall. They sold me on the Lux screen for my iPhone. It was going to be $50 which is pretty pricey. They had me take off my existing screen protector and then went to work on putting the new one on. They came over after a few minutes to apologize as they didn't have the lux screen protector in my phone size. REALLY!! You should have checked that before you hade take off my existing protector. So I took my phone and went to Apple to get a new protector. I WILL NEVER CONSIDER THEM ANYTIME IN THE FUTURE. read more

I got my screen... Guess that's why I'm giving this stand two stars. Pre ordered the 6 Plus HDX screen. I feel like I ordered the 6 original when I picked it up today... Been so flustered by the process here though that I just accepted it. They "printed" the screen and gave me a Baggie of accessories. I was never informed it wouldn't be in a retail box. I tried picking up my screen earlier this week and they wouldn't look me up in the system to give it to me, insisted I got my receipt. When picking it up I was informed install was an additional 7 dollars. They took my receipt and sent me on my way. Now I have a screen I don't even think is accurate that didn't come in a box and I don't even have a receipt to prove purchase. Anyways... Live and learn, online next time and probably not with ZAGG. The black dude that works at the booth (not sure what his name is) was too busy talking to his baby momma and was too lazy to put a new screen on my phone. I paid $50.00 for a screen protector on my old phone and was told that if I need a new screen due to cracks or upgrading my phone, I just have to go to the booth and pay $5.00 for a new one. Upgraded my phone today and went to the zag booth to get a new screen, and that black dude told me he can't replace the screen unless I pay $50.00 for a new one. I went there on Saturday to get my shield replaced because it cracked. I originally bought it at sprint but they couldn't replace it there so they sent me to this kiosk and even though they were busy, the people at the kiosk were really nice and took care of me even though there was a wait time. Should have known better than to come on the weekend. There was a nice young man I think he was new and the lady there was training him and was teaching him how to install, really great install and they made sure the install was perfect and made sure I didn't leave unsatisfied. Went back after about 10 days because the screen was coming up on the edges. The girl that worked there said "it's fine...that's normal" but if I wanted a new one I could pay $5. Wow. Just wow. My screen cracked but luckily I bought the lifetime warranty. Here's the deal with the "free" replacement; you have to pay a $5 installation fee and when I asked if I could just take it and install it myself I got, "uh no, that's not how we do it. So it's an hour or nothing." So I give her my phone and she reiterates the hour long wait because of the 3 devices in front of me. AN HOUR!! Then she was more concerned with chatting with her high school friend about how much she hated her job and needed to get away from it than actually doing her job. Awful. I've been going here for years, was always very happy. Last time I got a cover on my iPad was when I got it - June of 2014. I got a new iPad for Christmas, took in the old cover, the guy who was helping me (he claimed he was the manager) called me a liar. Said the cover wasn't theirs. I have NEVER gone anywhere but there to get covers on my devices. He refused to give me any sort of way to contact someone higher up than him in the company (afraid he might get in trouble for how he treated me perhaps?) and threatened to have me kicked out and banned from the mall. The manager doesn't stand behind the quality of their installs. I have had three phones simultaneously on my account and I would have all three wrapped in their covers and I have done this since I have had iPhones when they came out. For the first time since I've had them, I had a faulty install. The manager said that the long bubbles that were on both sides of the screen took up to a week to go away. Well, it's been two weeks and when I went to have her redo the work, she said I'd have to pay another $7. Granted that's the cost of two coffees, but I paid $85 to have the professional install done in the first place. As a regular good customer I did not think this was reasonable.
