I like how it has a basket in front to put things in and it has a lock also. I only wish it had a bottle holder for water bottles and things like that. It's easy to download the app that will tell you what bike number will release for you to take and ride. Bikes are nice and taken care of and reliable. You can find all the Pacers Bikeshare locations on the app as it will pull up what location is closest to you where you currently are at. Make sure when you return it to click it into the corral and it will let you know when it's returned correctly. Great organization that I'm glad they have here in Indy!

Do you want to go bike riding around the city but you don't own a bike? Then look no further with…read morethe Pacer Bike Share. When the weather is nice out this is definitely a nice way to get some exercise in. The prices for the bikes are really reasonable. You can find the bikes in broadripple area, downtown Indy or the South side of town. If you live in Indy you could sign up for a program to get the bikes for free for 30min and then if you ride longer than that you would have to pay for the difference. You do have to download an app and create an account in order to ride the bikes. I wish they had bikes located in the Castleton area especially with them building a trail that goes up to fishers. I definitely enjoyed my time on the bike though. It was a nice day and I was able to get some nice cardio in.

I have been in occasionally to get other supplies as their variety and selection is superb! Their inventory includes all sorts of bikes that you could need, including Electric, Road, Mountain, and Hybrid/City bikes. They have also increased their inventory with the acquisition of Gray Goat, allowing them to carry Specialized bikes. The sales staff are always helpful and will go out of their way to get you what you need (even ordering a bike in the size that would fit you best). Prices are high, but I think they're around what you'd find at other bike shops. Unfortunately, cycling is an expensive hobby/activity. If you do purchase a bike, they do install accessories (for free in my experience), so you could add a pannier rack, bottle cage, light mounts, and more to your bike before even taking it home! To give you inspiration for some rides, there is also a map in the back of the store showing the local Indy trails and recommended routes to explore. In addition to bike supplies, gear, and clothing, they also sell fitness equipment like treadmills, bike trainers, etc. at this location, but I haven't really explored that section of the store. The only thing I would note is that I would not recommend getting here via bike, as 82nd Street is a very busy thoroughfare and the surrounding area is very car-centric, unfortunately. But otherwise, it is a great store with pretty much everything you could need to get riding!

I've been a customer for many years and have always enjoyed their expert, friendly service…read more Recently, I brought my Trek in for maintenance. They found an issue with the rear freehub body. Trek replaced it under warranty and BGI performed the service free of charge to me. Years ago, I owned a Trek that had a front fork recall. The bike was several years old. Trek couldn't source another front fork that looked similar, which would completely ruin the look of the bike due to a fancy paint/decal design. BGI worked with Trek to get me a brand new model at no cost to me. BGI (and Trek) have my business for years to come.
