I have been to Zaiqa a couple times from out of the area, and I do not regret having to drive for multiple hours. The ambiance is nice, with comfy booths and generally a clean environment. The customer service is also solid, as there is a server who can come to your table if you ask them to. We tried many different dishes here, including the Chicken Tikka Drumsticks, Bihari Kabobs, Chicken Shish Kabobs, Aloo Palak, Haleem, and Keema and Sesame Naan. All of these were exceptional, with all of the barbecue foods being spicy and hot, and the other ones having a perfect amount of spice. Something that should be more emphasized is that this place has such high quality food for its location. Lahore Restaurant in Secaucus NJ is the only restaurant I've tried that can compete with this, and it is located in a concentrated area of more than 20 million people. Lahore Restaurant was also rated the second best Pakistani restaurant in the USA. Considering all of these factors being well above average, there is a reason why Zaiqa Restaurant is one of the best restaurants of its type. read more

Let me first start out by saying the food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and piping hot, which is very impressive considering it's 6 miles from my location. I ordered malai kabab, which came with a delicious dipping sauce. The kabab was seasoned and grilled to perfection! The food is fantastic and keeps us coming back despite some inconsistent service in the past. It used to be nearly impossible to place an order over the phone, though that seems to have improved now. We've only had takeout. Portions are generous, making up for somewhat higher prices. Zaiqa goes a bit heavier on the spices (clove, anise, etc.) than similar restaurants--which is exactly why we love it! If you get lamb/goat, expect some of the meat to be on the bone. Good food but be sure to ask if there are any bones in the chicken if that matters. Not sure why they have kabobs in their name. They do not have what most people consider kabobs, meat, veggies etc on a skewer. Its the typical minced spicy chicken on a stick even though its listed as shish kakbobs.
